Friendly staff, large room, lovely breakfast. Will stay again

Met with a smile, arrived late and still offered dinner which was gratefully received. Robert and Richard were lovely hosts. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Kippers and eggs cooked to perfection. Stayed in the Granville.room. Lovely room with a four poster bed. Will be back for that award winning Sunday roast on way back down next time.

Lovely unusual building,lots of character,lovely breakfast,would go again.

Warm and friendly greeting on arrival, easy check in. Key was in the door and the Granville room was beautiful - spotlessly clean and great facilities. Four poster bed, complimentary coffee machine and tea making facilities. Add on a spacious double sofa and en-suite made this a lovely stay. There can be a bit of road noise given the location, but this does not detract from the overall character of the property. Evening meal was amazing - they catered for our carnivore diet and prepared a mixed grill that was cooked to perfection. Meal for two with a bottle of wine, double gin and a baileys was just over £100 which was worth every penny! Breakfast included was also high quality, with locally sourced meats and again delicious. Accompanied by a decent cup of coffee got the day off to a good start. This is a venue we'll certainly return to again - thank you to Richard and Robert for being amazing hosts :-)

A very warm welcome, great evening meal, great breakfast and an excellent nights sleep great room, great service would highly recommend if you want a relaxing place to relax and enjoy the peaceful area 👍
