We had a very brief stay as we went for the Alzheimer’s trek. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly when we checked in and we had dinner there on the night our arrival and lunch the day after. The food was exceptional. We would definitely stay again. Winchcombe looked like a lovely village and we are keen to return and explore it (i just did not have the energy after the trek).

Nice room in a cute town. But after letting the water run for 10 minutes to get hot water without any sign of it, we went to the reception to see if there was a button we needed to press to “start” the hot water, but they just brushed it off to let the water run until it got hot. Eventually we gave up, and this after 5-6 hours of walking. But the pub food was very good.

Very basic inn room with no amenities. Bring your own toiletries as they do not provide them (soaps, shampoo, etc). Insulation of rooms was mid - you could hear people in the hallways clearly but I does quiet down early. Shower was very poor - no shower curtain provided so bathroom gets soaking wet. It’s a tub shower that has seen better days. Staff did not share vital information about room and building access when we checked in. This caused a lot of frustration and potential safety issues later in the evening. Room was spacious and bed was very comfy.
