Rooms were very clean , all staff really smartly dressed and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast we payed for and were very pleased with , it had all that we needed (sausage , bacon, egg , hash brown, beans etc )and juice , coffee and im sure if you looked (which i didn't) there were vegetarian and vegan options also. We visited the spa while there and was very impressed with the amenities and also we had massages ...excellant we thought .

I highly recommend this hotel, I found the swimming pool and the spa amazing. I have never seen the variety of different spa rooms. aroma steam and sauna. Ice room with actual crushed ice. and the jacuzzi being open to the outside with a beautiful view.

I had a fantastic stay at Norton Grange Hotel, and the absolute highlight was the spa! It’s incredible to have access to such a great pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi for the same price as a Premier Inn or Travelodge, but with so much more value. Add in a lovely breakfast, and it’s an absolute steal for a relaxing getaway. The spa is well-maintained and a true luxury, making this hotel stand out. It’s rare to find such great facilities included in an affordable stay, and it made my visit feel much more special. A Few Things to Consider: • Event Nights Are VERY Loud – If there’s a wedding or party, expect super loud music that can go on until 1:30 am. The hotel warns ahead of time and makes it clear that no complaints will be accepted, so if you need a quiet night, check before booking! The other nights of my stay were peaceful, but the wedding night was a challenge for sleep. • Rooms Near the Stairwell Get Noise – My room was next to the stairwell, and the fire door slamming shut every time someone used it was quite disruptive. Light sleepers should request a room away from high-traffic areas. • Breakfast Could Use Some Healthier Options – While the breakfast was generous, most items were fried (fried eggs, sausages, etc.). Adding scrambled eggs and smoked salmon would be a great touch for those looking for lighter choices. Final Verdict Despite some noise issues, I loved my stay. The fantastic spa, great breakfast, and unbeatable value make it an excellent choice

This is a beautiful hotel but the Spa was closed for refurbishment and this was not listed on the details on hotel.com. This was a defining feature that we selected this hotel upon so we were really disappointed as it looked lovely. Other than that, the room was ok, small but perfectly appointed and comfortable. The service was a little off at the restaurant; friendly but patchy. Good vfm though.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Very clean. Room was lovely, comfy bed, again really clean. TV needs upgrading/fixing though. Alot of old channels as if not been retuned for a long time. Spa was amazing. The Jacuzzi with open air element was spot on for the soul.

My daughter and I stayed for one night. It was absolutely lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa was a real treat. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was perfect with plenty choice. The grounds are lovely and just peaceful. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel lovely room other than a large fungal growth on ceiling above shower cubicle. Really off putting, I did report this to reception and being honest asked them to address the problem after I left. I followed up via email but no replys. Breakfast was ok , service good and large car park.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Rooms were ok, but needed some tlc. Back of bathroom door paint all chipped off and flaking and carpet been bodged up in parts. Bed was very hard and not the best if im honest. Spa and hottub was amazing but parts look quite run down, ie, missing tiles, damp and rust etc. Staff were lovely, breakfast very nice.

Shower not cleaned properly- multiple hairs from previous occupants. No towels in leisure suite. Bath robes smelt like they’re been dried in the kitchen during a busy service. Function suite music blaring until 12:30am. For what we paid would have expected far better.

THIS IS NOT A 4* HOTEL This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in - it is dirty, rundown, and not good value for money. Noise We were allocated room 101 and told as we were handed the key that there was a wedding on and we may hear some noise as our room was opposite the wedding. This was an understatement and the hotel made it clear they would not deal with noise complaints. Our room was directly opposite the wedding function room, separated by a corridor no more than 1.5 metres wide. When the evening reception started we may as well have been part of the party. It was bad enough when the door to the function room was closed but when opened by guests it was like we were in a nightclub. My husband had to go and close the door numerous times. This went on until 1am. After that, until 3am we had the noise of the staff cleaning up the room, moving furniture etc as well as being able to hear word for word the conversation and activities of the room next door. We booked this hotel for a relaxing night away while I was recovering from illness - yet it was far from that. When the function room is being used the hotel should not be booking out this room to guests - a warning about noise after booking is not acceptable. The room Smelly, rundown and no soundproofing. No complimentary water etc. only one towel for two of us. Door to bathroom rotten because of water. The spa Nothing special. Slimy & slippy pool, unclean. Food We were DBB, food was ok.

Well what an absolute treat this place was. My son and I travel for his sport and to be honest we tend to just book the cheapest place we can find as we’re hardly there. However, this time he asked for a pool to relax after his race. Norton Grange was only £20 more than the budget hotel I was going to book so I booked it. And I am so glad I did. Not one thing I could complain about. Yes it’s a little tired in places but it’s an older hotel, and to be expected but it’s easily the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. The room was absolutely amazing. Spacious and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. The pool was a tad chilly but we stumbled upon the Jacuzzi and WOW!! What an amazing facility. So relaxing and absolutely stunning to be open to the outside. Beautiful. We loved it. I was truly floored by how amazing the facilities are with prices so reasonable. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but could tell that it serves delectable food, it was packed. Staff are so friendly and helpful and when we asked if my son’s race bike could be kept inside for safety they didn’t bat an eyelid. They took it and stored it safely for us. We have since booked 3 more visits and will be our go to hotel when ever we race in Manchester in future. The option to pay for early check-in or even use of the facilities early would be great as what with practice and early starts we were so sad to not have more time to enjoy your beautiful hotel. We will be spreading the word.

Room was worn out. Floorboards creaked so badly we just laughed every time we had to move. Every aspect of the room needs a refurbishment. Couldn’t change the temp on the shower which is set at lukewarm and the pressure from it was like a watering can.

Overall a pleasent stay. The room was clean and tidy with all the usual amenities required. The king size bed was the often 2 singles attached together that you tend to find in chain hotels. It was uncomfortable if you turned in the night to find yourself laying on it, this woke me up a few times. The spa facilities which are included in your room rate were of a good standard. They include a gym, swimming pool, large indoor jacquizi/hot tub pool with a large open window overlooking the gardens, 2 steam rooms, 2 saunas and an ice room. We used this twice during our 1 night stay. Towels are handed out at the desk but not robes and slippers to hotel guests. You will also need the usual £1 coin for a locker. We didn't have one so were kindly loaned one by the staff manning the desk. Although we didnt sample the regular menu, we did include a buffet style breakfast in our stay which had a good selection of hot and continental options. One thing we would mention is that if you plan on going to sleep before midnight request a quiet room. We found ourselves in a room above the function room which was hosting a wedding which we almost felt part of as the music was so loud in our room. Also not helped by the old seals on our window,it sounded as though there was no window at all. We could hear the children from the wedding party playing in the gardens and word for word conversations of the smokers stood outside. I did mention this on check out so hopefully maintenance have fixed it.

Stayed on a sunday so the hotel was pretty quiet. Room 303 was a twin i asked for. Was lovely. Had air con. Nice bath with really hot water..beds were comfy too. The pool and spa was great and it was included in the price. Steam room, sauna, ice room, big jacuzzi that opens up outside. We didn't eat at the hotel so not sure on the food but the hotel itself is great x

Really good stay here at Mecure Norton Grange. Great hotel and spa with a spectacular gym. Rooms nice and clean modern with nice big Smart TV. Friendly Staff and the Breakfast was excellent. Full continental and full English on a self serve basis. Could also take a tray and take it up to my room. Overall spot on and very welcoming for Parklife Festival goers.

There were no staff manning the reception at night waited over 30. There was a message that read dial 2424 for attention and when dialed u get straight message saying this mail box is full. In the end I left without seeing anyone. Also the flow of our shower was nothing to write home about. Breakfast was great and swimming facilities were great

Hotel booking in and room was fine albeit the bed was very firm but that was personal taste. The breakfast facilities where a joke one very slow coffee machine with a long queue and small buffet area that ran out of food so had to wait for it to be restocked. When got home realised forgot phone charger so rang reception twice and nobody answered plus couldn’t leave a message l. Tried to contact through hotels.com but it wouldn’t let me so now leaving a frustrated review.

Very nice greeting on reception. Only negative we had waited 5 minutes at reception to order a taxi. On arrival the reception lady bypassed myself and my wife to book a bunch of ladies in who had only just arrived. That was more important to her than looking after our needs. She knew we had waited but felt booking in people was more important. She just gave us the taxi number to ring. She even said I need to book these people in first. Even though they had just arrived. My feedback, please get your priorities right. All guests are importing, not just those arriving.

would just like to leave some feedback. upon check in I had to show photo ID for both myself and my son. I assume to prove he was my son. although I appreciate safeguarding measures are necessary and important it would have been helpful to be told this before visiting just like the message about noise. I have never before had to prove my son was who I had said he was and this was a real shock which affected me deeply. It was only by fortune that I have photographs of both passports on my phone as we are going on holiday next week and I dread to think what would have happened had I not had those. Simply messaging me like the message about the noise would have prepared me. Also, when we came for breakfast I was told I'd only paid for myself. My booking definitely is for one adult and one child so not sure whether this is a problem with hotels app or the link between that and the hotel but there is no way I would eat without my son. Really nice hotel and spa but my visit bookended by an upsetting checkin and problems with breakfast so all ruined

My only criticism would be that a lot of tables had reserved signs on them but when we asked about them we were told we could use them as they were 'not really' reserved ? It was only in case they needed to use them?

Got woken up at 4:30am by a neighbouring room on our corridor having a domestic, screaming, shouting, banging, throwing glass bottles and slamming doors. Rang reception to report and no answer. Went on for at least an hour before the police turned up and carried on for another hour after that. Couldn’t get back to sleep so checked out at 7:30am, police still there. No apology or customer service from the staff. No one at reception when we handed the key in. Won’t be staying again. Awful nights sleep

Very easy to find, in a pleasant location. Looks like the hotel has been recently refurbished, very clean and tidy. Room was well appointed and a good size. Good range of meals on the hotel restaurant menu. My 2 night stay was very good value for money.

Stayed several times in the past. Great location on the outskirts. The hotel is always busy with events and weddings but less noisy this time. Clean, comfortable, convenient. The hotel served food, priced reasonably for hotel standard but we walked down the road to the pub about half a mile for dinner.

The hotel has a lovely setting and our room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some negative points- one of the bars had problems with accepting card payments meaning you had to use alternative bar in general area (we were at a private function). The ladies toilets had 5 cubicles and only 2 of the doors locked which is poor. Breakfast was ok but limited choice and it could have been warmer

Initially the ground and reception area were inviting. Although I was extremely disappointed with the standard of the rooms. The carpet was covered in stains and very dated. Not 4 Star!! Breakfast was probably the worse I’ve experienced. Eggs were not edible, bacon like cardboard. Coffee machine broke on Sunday and so was the toaster. Disappointing! Spa was lovely though

Sadly let down by breakfast on the second day, it seems the hotel are unable to cope when at full capacity. I went down to breakfast with ample time left, no hot food was left due to large amounts of people and long queues were forming as food was not being replaced fast enough. Plates were also so hot that I burnt my hand. A refund was not provided for breakfast although the hotel failed to deliver the agreed services.
