Was a little disappointed to get a service charge added to meal without being told. Even though you order from the bar yourself. What was the service charge for? Paid extra for the gym pass. The sauna was cold in the morning. Hot tub area cold too. Wasn’t even a hot tub.

Once you’ve entered the golfing complex the directions for Hotel Car park are not obvious, an events car park is the first parking you arrive at. It’s frustrating that the hotel car park is accessed via an obscure entrance.

When booking a hotel I often look for a gym, Hotels.com states there is one, but makes no mention in order to use the gym as a guest there is a supplementary fee of £7.50!

Absolute gem of a hotel. Staff were amazing! Clean, very comfortable rooms and the food was excellent. Lovely quiet rural setting just outside of Norwich. If you are a golfer this is worth checking out. I also used the spa whilst there and again fantastic staff and great services.

The staff at this hotel were the friendliest I have encountered. They were chatty and took their time to ensure that we had the best possible experience. The food - both dinner and breakfast- was wonderful and the spa was relaxing and clean .

Great staff, helpful and friendly. The food in the Brazzerie was excellent. A little disappointed that the pool was closed to guests between 15:30 and 17:00 because of Children Swimming. Also slightly disappointed that you haven’t pay £7.40 per person for a swim.

It’s not just the spa that they charge extra for. They charge £7.50 for the pool too. Also there is no iron and ironing board in the room, this is only available from reception

Upgraded on arrival, staff on reception extremely welcoming, staff throughout hotel polite and courteous. Hotel very clean, and well maintained. First visit here, but will definitely be returning.

Everything in the room was stained. There was dirty items of clothes under the drawers. The room was above a staff area/function room which was noisy until 11:30 pm and then was woken up at 5 am by the team talking and then hoovering.

I've stayed at the hotel many times and the rooms have always been spotless. Unfortunately the sheets hadn't been changed and the bed contained hair. I was promptly moved to another room. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay.

A nice location, with good facilities and friendly staff, however the property is a little dated and needs an overhaul. The cost of food and drink on site is also very expensive. Very disappointed to arrive to a dirty toilet in the bathroom.

This is the 2nd time I have used Barnham Broom. Lovely clean room. On arrival I was told breakfast was £20 if I booked now but I chose to pay as I go and was then charged £15 in the restaurant. Also charged 10% on top of my evening meal bill for 'service charge'. I wouldn't mind but I had to order my drink and then my meal from the bar. No waiter service at all from the table I was sat at. Stayed 3 nights and all 3 evenings I chose a table to sit at for a meal and on all 3 occasions, the table needed cleaning. A lovely place to stay but staff could do with keeping on top of the seating area cleanliness as this is not a cheap place to stay.

Really nice getaway, the suite was really nice with great view over the golf course. The staff were impeccably friendly. The food was nice, however there was a long delay for our evening meal when it didn’t seem That busy. Would definitely revisit as it was nice to drive back to and chill after long days walking the coasts.

Rooms very spaces, but the bath rooms were not sure big and shower in the bath not ideal if your of a larger size I'm prob a medium but someone larger than I would struggle with the size, room if this quality deserves a high spec bath shower room.

Room was on the 1st floor bur several staircases needed to gain access to this room. It was also in the eaves with a small window so felt dark and pokey. No lift available

The brasserie food was amazing in the restaurant but the service was terrible. We had a 40 minute wait between finishing our main and being offered a desert menu. The main problem was that we chose this hotel as it had a later check out time of 11am. However on approaching the hotel at 6pm we saw road closure signs starting at 9.30 the next morning for a half marathon. This meant that we had to leave at 9am to avoid the road closure or we would’ve been stuck at the hotel until 12.30pm. If we had known this at the time of booking then we would not have booked this hotel

Stayed for business, having been here a couple of times over the last few years. The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly and the hotel is lovely. Well maintained with very good facilities including the Brasserie and more casual sports bar. The only minor issue was the lack of an iron and board in my room, and the air conditioning set rather low. The latter didn't really matter as the bed was very warm and comfortable.

Stayed prior to an early morning meeting in Norwich, arrived quite late, but reception couldn't have been more helpful and great breakfast. Room was immaculate, comfortable and extremely quiet. Will definitely use again, thanks.

Just a one night break but was excellent. Staff are very attentive, food amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The brasserie staff did an excellent job as they were also super friendly and provided super fast service with a smile as did the staff on the terrace . Customer service is very much alive at this hotel.

Nice well managed property / country club. Convenient if you have activities around Norwich. Not unexpected but driving to property is on Norfolk country roads (last 6 miles) can be challenging at night.

Excellent as always. This has been my go to hotel when travelling to the area for the past 15 years. The only criticism is that breakfast is maybe lacking a little. The continental choice should have fresh croissants and a slightly better all round selection. Apart from that minor criticism I would definitely recommend the Barnham Broom
