The room was good; however, the sleeping arrangements were not ideal. The room had a double bed for the adults and a double sofa bed for the children, whereas separate single beds for the children would have been more suitable. We requested an additional single bed, but unfortunately our request was not fulfilled. The hotel staff should have provided an extra single bed so that our family could sleep more comfortably.

Warm greeting and large room fully equipped with garden view. The swimming pool was close by and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food and the restaurant was clean and well staffed.

A rather disappointing two day break. I had expected the room to have a window, and maybe to be able to open this for fresh air. I am sure some rooms do. Mine had no windows, but did have a vellum so I could tell if it was day or night. I had expected the dining area to be clean, but the seat pads and backs were all stained. Having witnessed children climbing all over the seats and hands covered in Nutella from the machine at breakfast it is not hard to see how things were stained. Some staff were amazing, I was checked in by Ebony, who gave a warm and sincere welcome, and the member of staff checking me out was also excellent. The Cafe Bar, well I expected it to be manned. Some customers went searching for a member of staff, and eventually when someone arrived they were, well, to put it mildly grumpy, no apology they simply stood behind the counter and stared. There were other issues, which were put right by a very attentive restaurant manager and really great team leader, but some servers were to put it simply rude. The menu for my stay did not have salads available. The breakfast is buffet style, some items are warm, some, like bacon, just above room temperature. It would be nice to stay at a hotel and receive a hot breakfast. That would be a great way for a hotel chain to differentiate itself. As I say it may be me, but after excellent Holiday Inn experiences, this was a very disappointing stay.

We were reluctant to stay so close to the airport, but the planes did not disrupt our sleep. The car park was large. The receptionist was cheerful and efficient. Our clean room had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were quite hard but we were too lazy to swap them. The air conditioning was a bonus and the shower was great! We ate dinner in the hotel. The staff were very good and the menu was varied with well priced smaller options. We also had buffet breakfast in the hotel. The food was tasty but could have been warmer. We don’t have allergies but we appreciated the effort that had been made to accommodate dietary restrictions. We didn’t have small children with us, but a huge effort had been made to accommodate them and make their stay enjoyable.
