Enjoyed our 2 night stay great breakfast and good location as it was just opposite the park. Shops and restaurants all local. Car Park was a small and under the hotel.

This is a gem of a place. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff were attentive & genuinely caring. The hotel room was immaculate & beautifully decorated, spacious & comfortable. The food is totally amazing. One of the best meals we've ever eaten. The cheese soufflé is my new death row meal! It's well located. Only issue was parking. I did get a ticket due to parking on the road. The next day we were given a parking token for the Abbey. I have an allergy & has misplaced my epipens. The staff were fantastic & it gave me the confidence to enjoy my meal, worry free. Thank you so much. We'll be back.

What a fabulous hotel! The staff are marvellous, the food excellent (that steak!), the location brilliant, the only thing that one could complain about is the parking in Hexham and that's hardly the hotels fault, it's a lovely town and therefore, busy at key times!

Busy outside bar and indoor restaurant, obviously a favourite place with locals Good selection at breakfast, hot breakfast cooked on demand, which was excellent on Saturday and Sunday, less impressive on Monday. The bedroom was unbearably hot, the fan was unable to cope, but the hotel could not have mitigated this any more, as the room was in full sun all afternoon.

Stylish hotel, lovely food, excellent staff. Parking is on street, busy but normally a place to be had. Hotel room was quiet, nice bathroom, plenty of tea coffee and milk, no fridge. Bed hard, but that’s personal taste. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good, large room, but view over fire escape etc. Evening food was good. Didn't try breakafast but buffet looked OK. Parking is free on road but can be problematic to find space. Small car park with chargers at back. Conevnient for Abbey.

The room was absolutely spotless. The skylight let in natural light and the room faced the back so there was little traffic noise. It was not obvious how to get the heating to work in the bathroom and I needed to ask.The kitchen at the Beaumont is superb. The chefs use fresh ingredients with delicious interesting combinations and the service is friendly.

The only issues were the noise from the sawmill at 5:30am on Thursday and the mould on one of the windows could have been cleaned off. Otherwise it's an excellent hotel.

Well located in the centre of Hexham, this is a nice hotel close to a lot of Hadrian’s wall visitor sites. We stayed in a superior room, which nice enough. It was a bit noisy, mainly because the room was next to the lift and sound transmitted very easily through the gaps around the door. With a little bit of sound proofing, the room would have been excellent.

Nice clean room, good shower and wifi and helpful staff. Realised when i got home that they had given me someone elses invoice for my pre paid room, but i had other confirmation on hotels.com so no real biggie. Was lucky with parking right outside the hotel, or it may have been a pain.

The staff gave us all help and consideration last week. Especially Maria and Magda who sorted out my husband's difficulty with the new mattress (too hard for his back problems). Everyone was always polite and gave us the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant service was also impeccable and the food excellent. Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short due to finding some particularly deep potholes in Beamish which exacerbated my husband's problem. I cannot recommend the Beaumont highly enough.

Mixed reviews . The Pros : The Hotel is central , clean and bedroom lovely . Breakfast had a good selection and waiting staff attentive . The Cons : On entry no warm welcome, just here’s your keys .rooms that way . I felt dismissed . The main problem for me was the noise . Road noise expected was ok . But the room above (for 2 nights ) can hear loud footsteps, squeaky boards and thumps this was continuous at approx midnight until 1am !! . Then woken on one morning by a loud TV from room next door at 7.30 am . The bed room doors also slam shut . Unfortunately for me not a restful stay and left feeling more tired than when I arrived .

The hotel were very helpful when requesting a slightly earlier check in due to attending a family wedding and needing to get a 3 year old ready to be a flower girl before hand. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was very spacious and the large bath was amazing! Breakfast was very expensive, especially for pastry's, orange juice etc but hit the spot.

A lovely traditional building, beautifully decorated and good sized rooms. It's cuisine, not average grub. Challenges me to try something different. Friendly, helpful staff. An affordable treat. Fabulous location close to the Abbey with disc parking across the road and a large free car park 5 minutes walk away by the Wentworth Centre. Second visit. If they start to accept well behaved dogs I'll be back again.

The Beaumont is a really comfortable hotel right in the heart of Hexham. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The hotel was very busy during our stay but all the staff were efficient and friendly. I’d have no hesitation in recommending the Beaumont as a great place to stay in Northumberland.

No probs with room with was well up to 3& standard and the breakfast was good. The meal was poor though (a) The portions were small necessitating multi-courses rather than a mains and a coffee, and (b) The steak was really tough and Hexham has Robson's butchers. one of the best butchers int he country for the quality of their meats.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff are really nice and helpful. Room was lovely with a view over the park. We stayed room only and found the cost of breakfast @ £17.50 each a bit pricey, however, saying that it was very nice. Would we stay again, definitely but on a room only basis.
