My friend and I stayed here 22-24/9/23 in a twin room with a sea view (room 10). The room was not big but adequate for us and has 2 showers. My friend did struggle with all the stairs so it might be worth asking for a lower floor room if you too have a dodgy knee! It is a lovely place, with good attention to detail given to make your stay the best it can be. Good, safe parking on the road outside. The cable car down to Scarborough Spa and the beach path is close by. Not too far to walk to the main attractions. The breakfast was very good indeed with varied choices. Overall, a happy visit and we would definitely recommend Mansion House to family and friends.

Lovely guest house - great staff - clean rooms .. breakfast beautiful They go that extra mile to provide those little extra’s that made our stay extra special .. complementary glass of wine on arrival, welcoming of dogs, treats for dogs and towel and bowls in the room, setting up a breakfast table in the lounge so that our dog can be with us whilst we were having breakfast and not left in the room (as dogs were obviously not allowed in the breakfast room with other guests having breakfast) Thank you for a lovely day - would recommend to anyone

I enjoyed every day of my stay here. The staff customer service skills were fantastic. My room was the perfect size for me.You have to walk down to the basement for breakfast. No lifts inside the property which didn't bother me. I was on the top floor. Mansion House is only a 30 minutes walk to Oliver's Mount

Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. The lounge was a cosy welcoming place with plenty of books and games and an honesty bar stocked with a variety of beverages. As we were blessed with good weather we didn’t use the lounge but it would have been a pleasant place to have spent a rainy couple of hours. It’s less than ten minutes walk up to the main road and bus route to Filey and Bridlington and a twenty minute walk to the heart of Scarborough itself. A very enjoyable few days.

Really good B&B. A few minutes walk to the Spa. Town a little further, but an easy stroll overall. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast food hot and tasty. Everywhere cleaned to a very high standard.

Stayed for two nights and couldn’t sleep either due to heat in room. Mild weather 24 all day but room so hot on top floor impossible to get quality sleep. Shower controls also either faulty or effected by neighbouring rooms with temperature constantly changing for no reason. Good location and potential to be very good

We were given a room on the top floor which we managed with but if you have heavy bags or are not very fit you may want to ask for a room on the lower floors. Other than that, the room was nice, lovely views, comfortable bed if a bit on the small side. (We are used to a large king size). The breakfast was excellent and service was great. Very friendly owners and staff.

Daughter and I stayed for a night whilst attending a concert and we could not have hoped for a better hotel. The personal service and attention to detail, catering for all additional needs, was superb. Breakfast included huge choice of continental and freshly cooked to order food. Particularly recommend the smoked salmon and eggs. We would highly recommend and will return when we are next in Scarborough FYI it’s a dog friendly hotel too!

An excellent b & b - nothing is too much trouble. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order and great staff. This is so much more than the bland corporate offers from Premier Inn etc - this is comfortably furnished with a strong personal focus from the owners . Highly recommend

Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. The lounge was a cosy welcoming place with plenty of books and games and an honesty bar stocked with a variety of beverages. As we were blessed with good weather we didn’t use the lounge but it would have been a pleasant place to have spent a rainy couple of hours. It’s less than ten minutes walk up to the main road and bus route to Filey and Bridlington and a twenty minute walk to the heart of Scarborough itself. A very enjoyable few days.

Really good B&B. A few minutes walk to the Spa. Town a little further, but an easy stroll overall. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast food hot and tasty. Everywhere cleaned to a very high standard.

Daughter and I stayed for a night whilst attending a concert and we could not have hoped for a better hotel. The personal service and attention to detail, catering for all additional needs, was superb. Breakfast included huge choice of continental and freshly cooked to order food. Particularly recommend the smoked salmon and eggs. We would highly recommend and will return when we are next in Scarborough FYI it’s a dog friendly hotel too!

Great staff, lovely room. Cold breakfast choices were plentiful. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was bland. Would certainly stay again and choose other than a Full English as there was plenty to choose from.

An excellent b & b - nothing is too much trouble. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order and great staff. This is so much more than the bland corporate offers from Premier Inn etc - this is comfortably furnished with a strong personal focus from the owners . Highly recommend

We stayed in the two bedroom self catering apartment for 3 nights. Found it really comfortable, lovely views from the lounge onto the beach and of the harbour. Lots of nice features in the apartment, comfy furniture and beds, everything was spotless. Was a little anxious about parking before arriving, but got parked outside on the road without issue which was free. Will certainly stay at this place again. It’s also very close to one of the cliff lifts if you have need of it or are simply tired from a long day to get back up from the prom.

The room was clean, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. We booked a classic double the decor was a bit tired and it was quite small and the bathroom / shower was partially small which we slightly struggled with.
