Very nice room, but had to run the water for a very long time to clear the brown colour enough to get a bath, so for peace of mind, bought a large bottle of water to make a cup of tea. Booked on Expedia and seemingly paid more for room only than a direct booking cost with breakfast, but it’s a lesson learned about Expedia. In all, a decent quiet room with good parking.

Lovely clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Whilst Fridays meal in the restaurant was excellent , we were disappointed with the Sunday night menu. Only Sunday lunch type meals or Fish and chips. Had to go somewhere else for a Steak.

Our stay was very good and the staff were brilliant, i was surprised with the changes that had been done, gone were the areas of cosiness and in place was a large quantity of similar chairs, lacking comfort. It has definitely been changed for the worst, dissapointing.

It is a very pleasant and sizeable conversion from, I would guess, an upper-grade country pub. Rooms clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Lots of parking for those who come by car, which I would guess are most customers in that part of rural Warwickshire. Staff very pleasant and helpful. My only beef is that the bar and dining room were rather chilly for a late April evening — too optimistic about the weather? And it would be nice to have somewhere to have afternoon tea, but again, I guess that most visitors are out sightseeing for most of the day.

Place is excellent. Room is clean and cozy. Restaurant and pub is top notch - all dishes I've tried are superb. I have stayed here before, but had few issues with the shower - no issues this time at all (water pressure is excellent).

We have stayed here many times and never had any issues but I can safely say we won’t be staying again. Check in should be till 10 o’clock, when I phoned the hotel at 8.15pm we was told if we wasn’t there by 9 o’clock we wouldn’t have a room. When we arrived we were told the room we had booked in the main hotel wasn’t available because they had turned the heating off in the building due to cost of living. We was also told that the hotel bar and hotel would be closed at 9 o’clock and the receptionist said have you got a torch because you will need one to get to your room. We was then told that we would have to walk up the side of the busy main road look for a gap in the hedge as our room was in the court yard, we also had to climb over a small wall to get to the gap in the hedge. We was also told that their wouldn’t be a breakfast service as there was not enough guests and it wasn’t worth the chief coming in, also the outside light didn’t, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Overall our stay wasn’t very enjoyable at all.

We have stayed here on many previous occasions and still find it good and comfortable. Now that we own a electric car, it's a pity they have removed their charging point! The breakfast is still excellent (no fried bread though!), and the staff are all friendly.

Guests in the room above me had an all night party. The floors were so thin that I could clearly hear individual conversations and constant walking up and down (although the party-goers could not hear my pleas to allow my 7 year old daughter to sleep). I could only reach the hotel’s voicemail and as far as I can tell no one was on duty to help. In the morning the receptionist rather unhelpfully told me that someone ‘should’ have been on duty

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a little out of the way which is fairly evident from a map when booking the hotel. Overall, its a reasonably good hotel for the price. As I've been there a few times, it would be good if they didn't charge me for a slightly later checkout (12 midday rather than 10am on a Sunday when there were relatively few people there and the clocks just changed to lose 1 hour) ;)

Very nice room, but had to run the water for a very long time to clear the brown colour enough to get a bath, so for peace of mind, bought a large bottle of water to make a cup of tea. Booked on Expedia and seemingly paid more for room only than a direct booking cost with breakfast, but it’s a lesson learned about Expedia. In all, a decent quiet room with good parking.

It is a very pleasant and sizeable conversion from, I would guess, an upper-grade country pub. Rooms clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Lots of parking for those who come by car, which I would guess are most customers in that part of rural Warwickshire. Staff very pleasant and helpful. My only beef is that the bar and dining room were rather chilly for a late April evening — too optimistic about the weather? And it would be nice to have somewhere to have afternoon tea, but again, I guess that most visitors are out sightseeing for most of the day.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a little out of the way which is fairly evident from a map when booking the hotel. Overall, its a reasonably good hotel for the price. As I've been there a few times, it would be good if they didn't charge me for a slightly later checkout (12 midday rather than 10am on a Sunday when there were relatively few people there and the clocks just changed to lose 1 hour) ;)

Lovely clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Whilst Fridays meal in the restaurant was excellent , we were disappointed with the Sunday night menu. Only Sunday lunch type meals or Fish and chips. Had to go somewhere else for a Steak.

Place is excellent. Room is clean and cozy. Restaurant and pub is top notch - all dishes I've tried are superb. I have stayed here before, but had few issues with the shower - no issues this time at all (water pressure is excellent).

We have stayed here many times and never had any issues but I can safely say we won’t be staying again. Check in should be till 10 o’clock, when I phoned the hotel at 8.15pm we was told if we wasn’t there by 9 o’clock we wouldn’t have a room. When we arrived we were told the room we had booked in the main hotel wasn’t available because they had turned the heating off in the building due to cost of living. We was also told that the hotel bar and hotel would be closed at 9 o’clock and the receptionist said have you got a torch because you will need one to get to your room. We was then told that we would have to walk up the side of the busy main road look for a gap in the hedge as our room was in the court yard, we also had to climb over a small wall to get to the gap in the hedge. We was also told that their wouldn’t be a breakfast service as there was not enough guests and it wasn’t worth the chief coming in, also the outside light didn’t, and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Overall our stay wasn’t very enjoyable at all.
