It is a lovely looking hotel and we were looking forward to staying there as it is very convenient to an event in a village three miles away. However we were a bit disappointed as despite there being a picture of a spa/swimming pool on Google they do not have a pool or a gym and I expected there to be a pool. Also the rooms were very clean and the hallways repainted but a bit dated. There were no sockets near the bed, no air conditioning, a very hard bed and the room was very warm though cooled down when we opened the windows. The showers had poor flow rate and weren’t very warm. I don’t mind paying a premium for a room in such a lovely building but think it needs modernisation.

Lovely hotel. Check in and check out was very slow, but I think this was due to their systems, the staff were really good. Bar staff really on it, but the bottled beer was pricey.

We have shown interest in Ansty Hall for some time, beautiful manor house and grounds, refurbishment to the lower floor particularly is superb, a challenge for my wife was no lift and the flights of stairs took a toll, in addition to this there is no Air conditioning, and when temperatures hit mid to high 20s and then some, the manor house temperature was uncomfortable. Restaurant Menu choice was limited when compared to other Hotels we have used, but Lounge menu which can be accessed in the restaurant made up for the shortfall in choice within the main restaurant .

The bathroom had black mould growing on the ceiling and around the grouting. I requested a room change which took around 30 minutes. The room they moved me to had the same issue. The rooms are dated. The electric heater is poor. The bed was uncomfortable. The tea and coffee facilities were good. I had to walk outside in the rain to get to and from my room to the main hotel. There was a renovation taking place whilst there so hopefully they are doing the rooms as well as the lobby space. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty. Overall it was overpriced for the quality provided.

Clean room, very pretty and traditional. Good location for a course at the hospital. Staff lovely. However VERY disappointed at the cleaning/domestic staff letting doors slam and swing shut, and bashing below the hotel windows at almost midnight. I understand they have to do their job (and the results are very much appreciated) but seems to be extremely poorly timed and woke me up leading to a horrendous nights sleep. I stayed here last summer, and stayed not in the main building and didn’t have the same issue (but the rooms are not as stylish and comfy in that area compared to the upmarket main building, and additionally a friend that stayed in the outer building said it was so cold to the point she was wearing a jumper in bed). So a mixed review. Many excellent aspects but a few disappointing ones that put a dampener on an otherwise comfy and successful trip in a clean and well appointed traditional but stylish hotel!

We had a really lovely stay at Ansty Hall Hotel. The building itself is beautiful and full of character, set in peaceful surroundings that make it feel like a proper escape. We didn’t have breakfast, but the room was absolutely amazing — spotless, spacious, and really comfortable. Everything felt well thought out, and the bed was especially cosy. The staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming, which added to the whole experience. It’s a perfect mix of relaxing and convenient for Coventry. We’d definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

Lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good food. The main hall is beautiful and public areas lovely. The staff were very attentive. I stayed in the "weavers". The rooms are dated but immaculate. Couple of areas do need attention though - the bed was absolutely rock hard - beautiful bedding didn\'t make up for that. It was a windy night and the modern sash windows rattled all night.

I was only using the hotel for a room to sleep as I was arriving late and leaving early due to work. Unfortunately, I don’t think I had the chance to see the best of the hotel grounds or services. There room was fine and spacious but some aspects of the room were below my expectations. The TV remote didn’t work, after spending some time I found it was the springs connecting to the batteries that had been tampered with. The coffee machine was temperamental and quite a faff - unfortunately there wasn’t an alternative so I opted for a tea! Lastly, and most disappointing, both sink taps were warm/hot!

Lovely stay, very nice surroundings, excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly. This is not the first time we've stayed at Ansty and it's always our first choice when we're in the Coventry, Birmingham area. We'll be back.

Business trip - I think the hotel could be really quite great but the room I had was directly above a suite which they had allowed a party with DJ to be had - I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a decent nights sleep and you should have to deal with music blaring out from 20.00 onwards.. when I called them the telephone in the room apparently had an issue connecting with reception so eventually had to call outside th hotel to get through to reception - overall - jsut a poor service.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. I booked family room which should have had double bed and 2 single beds for my kids. On arrival, we were given a room with one double bed and a baby cot eventhough my younger child is 13. I have discussed with reception. The guy was super nice and understanding, however we weren't offered another room or extra bed. All 3 of us shared the bed so a bit tight considering the choice of hotel In the morning we went for breakfast just after 7am only to discover that breakfast is not served till 8am. I cant fault the lady in the morning as she has seated us straight away and was very attentive. She allowed us to have continental breakfast and didn't turn us away for which I was very grateful. I didn't want to ruin a nice weekend away but definitely could have been better. A bit disappointed If any family is thinking of staying there, I would recommend a call beforehand to make sure you got the right beds.

It is a lovely looking hotel and we were looking forward to staying there as it is very convenient to an event in a village three miles away. However we were a bit disappointed as despite there being a picture of a spa/swimming pool on Google they do not have a pool or a gym and I expected there to be a pool. Also the rooms were very clean and the hallways repainted but a bit dated. There were no sockets near the bed, no air conditioning, a very hard bed and the room was very warm though cooled down when we opened the windows. The showers had poor flow rate and weren’t very warm. I don’t mind paying a premium for a room in such a lovely building but think it needs modernisation.

The hotel has lots of character. The rooms are nice and spacious and have all that you need. Some of the things in the room may be a little dated but overall comfort was great for us and the service at the breakfast was simply amazing. Very friendly and food was exceptional.

Very polite staff. Excellent double room with a large shower. Had dinner in the evening. Enjoyed the duck and red wine. Very indulgent cherry and chocolate moose too. Plenty of choice for breakfast. All in all an enjoyable stay. Would use again if I stay in the area again.

We have shown interest in Ansty Hall for some time, beautiful manor house and grounds, refurbishment to the lower floor particularly is superb, a challenge for my wife was no lift and the flights of stairs took a toll, in addition to this there is no Air conditioning, and when temperatures hit mid to high 20s and then some, the manor house temperature was uncomfortable. Restaurant Menu choice was limited when compared to other Hotels we have used, but Lounge menu which can be accessed in the restaurant made up for the shortfall in choice within the main restaurant .

Booked Ansty Hall for one night for the Take that concert, so can't comment on food or the bar as we never used them However the Hotel itself is excellent with lovely grounds and ample parking. Room was plenty big enough with a lovely shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was ready on arrival and kindly let us checked in so we could get ready for the concert.
