Good well priced hotel. Rooms are small but very clean and the beds are super kind size and extremely comfortable. Shower room compact but fine take your own toiletries as 3 in one soap fixed on wall and one of ours didn’t work. No charger sockets in rooms. Breakfast was very good £14.95 for full or £8.95 for continental serve yourself. I wish ours hadn’t been spoilt by the waiter cleaning the table next to us for what seemed like the whole breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Large bar downstairs

Property revamped since last visit, room was spacious with excellent shower and facilities. Plenty of parking away from main road and nice areas to wander around. Might bring my clubs next time!

Disappointed with the room. Staff were helpful as I arrived late in the evening. Very noisy in reception due to a private function . No options for food or drink when arriving late. Easy convenient parking.

Noise in the corridor which came and went from behind a fire door. Think it's banging pipework. Damage on wall in the bathroom. Really hot, stuffy room. Car park really badly lit. Bed was comfortable.

On advert they advertise bathrooms in upstairs rooms are disability friendly but there is no lift to these rooms! Misleading! Downstairs rooms have showers over bath so NOT disability friendly. Not very well thought through!

The room was awful, it felt dirty the carpet was all damaged and unclean, the walls were covered in dirt, the bathroom felt like I was in a hostel. Not a pleasant stay at all Breakfast was lovely and the lady working at breakfast was lovely and couldn’t do enough, Disappointed that this wasn’t included with the room charge as the cost was excessive

Room was clean but basic. Quote stuffy with overstuffed pillows. Walls a bit thin as there was a lot of sound spilling in from the next room. As they were listening to the shipping forecast I am guessing this was more to do with the walls than guests partying.

Hotel appears nice on arrival. However check-in felt very rushed; literally handed us the key and told us room number vaguely pointing in the direction of the rooms. Decor felt low quality and painting/decorating was obviously done on a budget judging by the lack of tidy beds around door frames and sockets. Rooms were clean enough, but only one pillow for each bed (hunted the room but no others could be found) and the beds were seriously firm (like sleeping on a board) Only had an overnight stop but wouldn’t ever plan on going back. Felt very disappointed.

The hotel was good, room clean and bed comfortable. However the stay was ruined due to being in a room with a locked door connecting to the next room. As a result of this there was no sound protection from the other room. I was woken up at around 5:30 am as occupant of the room next door was using the hair dryer and the noise was very loud as if in the same room. Ruined my sleep and ruined my overall experience at the hotel.

I thought reception were welcoming and the facilities were nice however the room was disappointing and uncomfortable the bedroom had two singles pushed together with no proper mattress topper making a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Another bedroom next to our room had a door that slammed continuously ( no soft closer) until the early hours of the morning as there was an event on which meant some guests were In and out of there rooms which felt like all night. The noisy door disturbed our sleep all night so I left the hotel feeling exhausted which ruined our stay and the day we had planned after we left.

Arrived and no where to park due to prom night being held there. Checked into room which paid for double bed and it was just two single beds put together, room was below standard very basic with no air con or fans in the room. Restaurant overpriced for the food standard. The Prom didnt finish till gone 11.30pm so just very loud in the rooms. When checking out was not asked how my stay was otherwise would have mentioned all the above but the two people.at reception to busy chattong to each other.. would not stay here again

Convenient location for visiting the Rugby area with the bonus of a golf club that we could play. Rooms are a little dated maybe in need of freshening up, but the bathroom was new and the bed comfy. Had a good sleep. Staff welcoming and golf staff managed to get us a morning tee time.

Hotel has cosy, open restuarant in bar area. Club double rooms were comtemporary but the bathrooms were tired, not up to date & quite basic. The shower was a little disappointing but functional. Great location for our trip.

This hotel accommodated a large group of people who came to the area for a horse event. A couple of us enjoyed a very generously portioned lunch, and a group of 15 had dinner. All the food was extremely good and I will definitely be staying again. The mattress was a little on the hard side for me but as this is a very personal issue, it is not significant and would not affect my review.

Only stayed one night, comfortable and pleasant staff bar meals should be longer as I didn’t want to go in restaurant dining. Bar meals stopped at 5pm. Which for me is an issue as I just wanted maybe soup and a sandwich. Instead had to have a restaurant menu meal in bar area. Otherwise excellent service and food but need to cater for customers who are on quick visit overnight. Eat , drink and bed Up early and away.
