The Staff was very friendly, however the steam room was not working in the spa and jacuzzi was full of chlorine to the point that our eyes were hurting so much. The top seat in the sauna was loose and therefore kept tipping over if sat on the edge. Prices in the restaurant are somewhat expensive for what it was a very average meal. Very disappointed and definitely would not return back

Lovely spa/pool with outdoor patio and cafe for those sunny days. Ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were of really good standard, very attentive staff King size bed (superior room) was wide but not long enough, at 6ft my feet were hanging off the end! But a minor gripe for an overall relaxing stay

Friendly and helpful staff but often hard to find them. I had to search for someone to check me in on arrival. Very nice pool and this was in good condition. The hot tub/jacuzzi was a bit tired and some of the lights weren't working. The shower experience in the Spa wasn't great either, really tired, some jets very weak or not working at all. Pretty much all the carpets were very worn and stained. The facilities in my bedroom were largely all good, only downside was the fact the bed was in fact two singles/doubles pushed together with a very pronounced 'ridge' in the middle which was not comfortable. Another big downer was the fact there were no sockets or charging points anywhere near the bed. In this day and age that's not acceptable!

Lovely 1 night stay. Simple yet comfortable room. Slightly disappointed with the spa, very over crowded, very small pool area. Portion sizes were absolutely huge so could barely manage half of the meat accompaniments but food was great. Breakfast was lovely. Reception and bar staff really lovely.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel from inside and outside was impressive. My husband played golf on the lovely course and I enjoyed the spa facilities. Evening meal was lovely and all the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.

Room looks to have been recently refurbed, very nice. Hallways a bit tired. All staff I met very friendly. Food in restaurant very good, but not much of a choice. Swimming pool and spa looks very nice, but didn’t get chance to use it.

Generally good, we stayed towards the end of summer and they may well have a deep clean or some areas of refurbishment planned but the carpets felt tired and the mattresses starting to feel a little old, but it was clean and staff were friendly. Whoever designed their bathrooms needs some training - the basin was small for a family room and the toilet roll holder at low level under the radiator was odd!! Breakfast was good with a good selection but the evening meal was poor - I had a lasagne which was 2/3rds white sauce and very little in the way of actual meat and was expensive for what it was. Good location - quiet and easy to find

This hotel is old and needs a complete refresh, the bed was so uncomfortable It was a single bed which I didn’t think existed anymore in hotels The curtains didn’t close properly and the window was in the car park, so could see cars passing by at night It was noisey, doors slamming all night The bathroom was outdated and the floor was worn away The wallpaper was peeling off the walls The sofa was old and grubby looking Not what I expected for £100 a night with no breakfast The bar staff where however very good and friendly

It was ok’ish. We were given room 219 which was very small and on the top floor which meant a dormer window and sloping ceiling. On tip-toe you could see out of the window for a view of the bin yard and delivery bay (first lorry before 7am). There were always piles of housekeeping necessities in the corridors and stairwells. The meal in the Garden Room was preceded by the waitress listing all the things they didn’t have. We got the feeling that the place was rather “tired” although all the staff were friendly and enthusiastic which made it bearable. The spa was small but clean and comfortable. Anyway, treat it as a budget hotel rather than a destination and you won’t be disappointed

Fabulous stay at this hotel only one negative was that we could not change the water temperature in the bath/shower. Water was far too hot and cold water did not seem to be connected to cool it down

This hotel was really good value for money. The room was spacious even with three of us in it, beds were comfortable and room was clean. Room could do with hooks to hang coats, rather than having to use the wardrobe.

Great Hotel, and now one of my regulars when I am in the area as it is convenient, clean friendly with the added benefit of a gym spa and a driving range. The only tiny niggly issue is the Wi-Fi is very very poor and non-existent in the bar area which is no good if you are Billy no mates for the night

The hotel was quiet and the facilities good. Excellent food in the restaurant. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, although this did not impact on sleep quality. The staff were friendly and I would definitely recommend as a place to stay in the area.

Lovely hotel that we stayed at to give us a couple of days walking in the Malverns. The location is good for the Malvern hills and is close to Worcester where we spent a nice evening out. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was particularly nice. We went to the spa for a couple of hours which wasn't busy and enjoyed the small pool and jacuzzi/ steam room/sauna. Breakfast was very good and the service we received from members of staff on reception, in the spa and in the breakfast dining room were exemplary. Highly recommended

I stayed here overnight to break up my journey. Nice hotel. I had a spacious room, with good facilities. The dinner was good - a bit of a clinical dining room, but the fish and chips was excellent! The pool was small but nice, and just the right temperature, with a good lounging area. Breakfast was only average, but it was fine. I would stay again if in the area.

The Staff was very friendly, however the steam room was not working in the spa and jacuzzi was full of chlorine to the point that our eyes were hurting so much. The top seat in the sauna was loose and therefore kept tipping over if sat on the edge. Prices in the restaurant are somewhat expensive for what it was a very average meal. Very disappointed and definitely would not return back

Lovely 1 night stay. Simple yet comfortable room. Slightly disappointed with the spa, very over crowded, very small pool area. All other amenities such as hot tub, steam room and sauna also very small and always full so we didn’t get great use of this unfortunately. The best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had! Portion sizes were absolutely huge so could barely manage half of the meat accompaniments but food was great. Breakfast was lovely. Reception and bar staff really lovely.

Generally good, we stayed towards the end of summer and they may well have a deep clean or some areas of refurbishment planned but the carpets felt tired and the mattresses starting to feel a little old, but it was clean and staff were friendly. Whoever designed their bathrooms needs some training - the basin was small for a family room and the toilet roll holder at low level under the radiator was odd!! Breakfast was good with a good selection but the evening meal was poor - I had a lasagne which was 2/3rds white sauce and very little in the way of actual meat and was expensive for what it was. It was a great stay, the spa area was in particular amazing, the concertina doors were open to the pool and the outside area ws great to relax. Great food in the bar and lovely staff overall. Will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, our room was exceptionally hot at 29°. A small fan didn't offer any relief. No other rooms were available unless we paid £200 for a suite upgrade. The hotel was air conditioned in the hallway and common areas which kind of made it feel worst in the room. The heat wave is not the fault of staff or the hotel owners but a heads up on accommodation could have allowed us to consider alternative options. The hotel gave us advanced notice of a ball in the function room in terms of parking for example. The room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower was not great, needed an aeroated showerhead to make better use of water pressure. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. A minor thing but at breakfast and dinner, we had to ask to be served / chase up orders a couple of times...to me, a lack of any direction / supervisor was the cause. In terms of the pool and thermal suite, to me, it was not worth paying £15...small facilities. Far nicer spas that don't charge e.g. Cottons Hotel, Knutsford. Food at dinner was very good. Tried a variety of dishes. Decent continental breakfast and hot food options. If the room was not so hot, we probably would return.
