What a beautiful setting. It's nice enough for weddings, of which this hotel caters to. The property is well maintained, and very luxurious. The restaurant is fantastic...lots of options, great tasting food and the servers were very knowledgeable and really into sharing their passion of each dish offered. The receptionist on check in made us feel very special by offering her advice on all the amenities the hotel specialized, as well as the surrounding area. It was a very pleasant stay and lived up to the previous reviews of those who responded.

Stayed 3 nights - very comfortable bed, lovely chairs and furnishings but thought brown furniture looked tired. Tea and coffee making equipment appreciated, also ironing board and iron. Good room soundproofing and blackout curtains. Nice bathroom and plenty of towels, missed having hair conditioner in addition to shampoo, also body lotion. Breakfast was disappointing for the level of hotel - nothing was well cooked in the Irish breakfast, some items requested with breakfast didn’t appear, the yogurts were the best item available, thus my reason for four stars for the overall experience. Staff were helpful and polite. The hotel lobby is well laid out though when it’s busy, there aren’t enough comfortable seating areas (sofas) - not sure if this can be addressed. Lighting and wall art great, liked the bulls around the place! We were at a function in the hotel on Friday night, the food was very good and waiting staff exceptional.

We attended a wedding & stayed overnight. Everything was excellent from the welcome at Reception to the food, room comfort & service. The hotel is set in a very quiet & picturesque location yet convenient to the main road for travelling. The hotel decor & grounds are stunning & immaculate.

Lovely staff and property but there isn’t a trail for walking or gym facility. Late night service can be better. It’s pretty away from things in general so your activities are limited unless you have a car. Enjoyed my stay overall.

We spent two wonderful nights at the Clandeboye Hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The decor and very impressive and modern. The food for both breakfast and dinner was of a high quality. It is perfect for a couple of quiet relaxing days.

Lovely hotel. Lovely room and clean. We dined in the restaurant as a last minute choice. We were so glad we did- excellent food. We were well impressed and would definitely dine here again. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here - all staff in the various areas were friendly and helpful.

Very good stay for 2 nights whilst visiting family. The room was very quiet, well furnished, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just a couple of very minor points which would make the stay perfect. The first being please put mugs in the rooms for tea and not very small cups, the kettle also did not fit under the tap which is mad. Finally, it was impossible to take a shower without flooding the floor due to the location of the shower faucet and the size of shower screen. The hotel would be better to install shower cubicles (removing the bath) when the rooms are next refurbished. Will definitely return as these minor points did not detract from what was otherwise a very good stay.

Stayed here for a wedding. The rooms, particularly the ultra luxe suite were fabulous. They were spacious and comfortable. The staff were all exceptional, particularly the hotel staff who were all very helpful. I found the bar staff at the function to be slow and inexperienced. The breakfast was exceptional, excellent variety and quality and a lovely setting.

Incredible hospitality! We were staying for a friends wedding at the venue and the team could not do enough for you. We arrived early morning and asked if we could leave our cases whilst we headed into Bangor - within seconds the receptionist and housekeeping manager were scouting out which rooms were readily available - we were given an upgraded room and able to check in immediately. On our first morning of breakfast, my partner asked the waiting staff if it would be possible to get some avocado with his haddock & eggs, he was told unfortunately it's not something they have in stock as it isn't in any of their menu items. Lo and behold, the next morning we sit down for breakfast and the waiter has been and purchased an avocado just for my partner! Our only downside to the hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom which made for an uncomfortable sleep during a heatwave. Other than this, the hotel was PERFECT and I would recommend to absolutely everybody.

Great stay everything was amazing for the long weekend and wedding , just a shame there was no air-con but as its Ireland and September did not expect 30c , just made sleeping hard in the loft room, but the newly weds had the new suite that was good to chill in with its 16c air con :)

It’s a lovely hotel just to chill with nothing to do. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were spacious. Dinner was beautiful, only disappointment was at breakfast. Service was slow as they needed more staff, had to ask to things several times

We attended a wedding & stayed overnight. Everything was excellent from the welcome at Reception to the food, room comfort & service. The hotel is set in a very quiet & picturesque location yet convenient to the main road for travelling. The hotel decor & grounds are stunning & immaculate.

What a beautiful setting. It's nice enough for weddings, of which this hotel caters to. The property is well maintained, and very luxurious. The restaurant is fantastic...lots of options, great tasting food and the servers were very knowledgeable and really into sharing their passion of each dish offered. The receptionist on check in made us feel very special by offering her advice on all the amenities the hotel specialized, as well as the surrounding area. It was a very pleasant stay and lived up to the previous reviews of those who responded.

Lovely staff and property but there isn’t a trail for walking or gym facility. Late night service can be better. It’s pretty away from things in general so your activities are limited unless you have a car. Enjoyed my stay overall.

We spent two wonderful nights at the Clandeboye Hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The decor and very impressive and modern. The food for both breakfast and dinner was of a high quality. It is perfect for a couple of quiet relaxing days.

Stayed here for a wedding. The rooms, particularly the ultra luxe suite were fabulous. They were spacious and comfortable. The staff were all exceptional, particularly the hotel staff who were all very helpful. I found the bar staff at the function to be slow and inexperienced. The breakfast was exceptional, excellent variety and quality and a lovely setting.

It’s a lovely hotel just to chill with nothing to do. Bed was very comfortable and rooms were spacious. Dinner was beautiful, only disappointment was at breakfast. Service was slow as they needed more staff, had to ask to things several times

Stayed 3 nights - very comfortable bed, lovely chairs and furnishings but thought brown furniture looked tired. Tea and coffee making equipment appreciated, also ironing board and iron. Good room soundproofing and blackout curtains. Nice bathroom and plenty of towels, missed having hair conditioner in addition to shampoo, also body lotion. Breakfast was disappointing for the level of hotel - nothing was well cooked in the Irish breakfast, some items requested with breakfast didn’t appear, the yogurts were the best item available, thus my reason for four stars for the overall experience. Staff were helpful and polite. The hotel lobby is well laid out though when it’s busy, there aren’t enough comfortable seating areas (sofas) - not sure if this can be addressed. Lighting and wall art great, liked the bulls around the place! We were at a function in the hotel on Friday night, the food was very good and waiting staff exceptional.

Lovely hotel. Lovely room and clean. We dined in the restaurant as a last minute choice. We were so glad we did- excellent food. We were well impressed and would definitely dine here again. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here - all staff in the various areas were friendly and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at Clandeboye, and it has been consistently excellent. The room is wonderful and well-appointed. The staff is both very friendly and goes the extra mile in all cases. The food is excellent and it's a great place to meet friends or family and hang out. The grounds are beautiful and it's pretty conveniently located for our purposes. We'll be back!!
