Despite the cottage being advertised as dog-friendly, we were charged an additional £30 for dog hair found after our stay—a frustrating and unexpected fee. To add to this, our first full day was disrupted by a washing machine engineer who arrived late, followed by a gardener trimming hedges for half the day later in the week. These interruptions detracted from the peaceful experience we had hoped for. In summary, Kipper Cottage is a beautiful haven in an exceptional location, perfect for a restful getaway.
