TownePlace Suites St. George

Every time we go out of town my kids have to hit the pool. With the weather chilly we were bummed that the pool was freezing. The breakfast was cramped and set up poorly to accommodate more than a few families and the bathroom was small with no extra space in the room for our luggage. In a positive thestaff was great throughout our stay and the location was awesome.

The view of the St. George valley was beautiful from the front of the hotel but the back of the hotel was my favorite! The outdoor barbecue area with tables and grass surrounded by lush vegetation and the pool hot tub area with the peaceful water fountain and surrounding palm trees was just beautiful. Twinkling lights strung over head made the area sparkle day and night. The hotel was clean and well appointed with everything you could need for a weekend stay or an extended stay. We’ll definitely be back.

Great place to stop especially traveling with dogs! Comfy, safe, convenient! Great workout facility too!

The room was totally fine for me. The kitchen is very small but appeared to be adequately stocked. I was only there for about 18 hrs total and was by myself, so the size of the room didnt matter. But it is a pretty small room. The fitness center had 2 treadmills and one elliptical and a set of free weights, and very little floor space.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and spacious. The pool was our favorite part! Large and with a waterfall feature, made it a plus. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

The hotel was nice, every staff member we ran into was really nice. The pool area was absolutely amazing. The hot tub was super hot, which was really nice, especially since it was so windy while we were there. The beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. Breakfast, while sparse, had some different hot options each morning. Some mornings it was a breakfast sandwich, some it was scrambled eggs, one morning they even had a jalapeno souffle. My ONE AND ONLY complaint about this hotel, is the parking lot. It wasn't very well thought out, and its one of THE worst parking lots I've personally ever seen. Most nights, there wasn't parking anywhere in the parking lot. A few times, we parked on the road, since the other parking lot is used for the hotel next door. The parking lot definitely needs redone, but the rest of the hotel was amazing, and we would stay there again!

Our room was spacious, with tons of storage and a very comfortable bed! The pool/jacuzzi area was especially beautiful and we used it almost daily. The staff were always very friendly and helpful! The kitchenette was a bit small but we will definitely stay here again in the future.

We had the two bedroom suite, which was advertised as sleeping 6. The pullout bed said it’s a double, but it seemed more like a twin than a double. Also, the mattress was pretty bad—all springs and no comfort. Fortunately, I had two twin air mattresses with us, so my sons slept on those instead of the pullout bed. We also found two items missed by the housekeeping crew from someone’s prior stay. A stray ear plug and the top of a squeeze pouch that rolled out from under the couch when we opened it for the mattress. Easy enough to pick up but it seems like they should have been noticed. Other than those two items, everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the free breakfast options, though they were pretty limited. Fairly typical of these kind of hotels, however, and the staff kept everything restocked during the breakfast time. The TownePlace staff were extremely friendly, and we appreciated the quick and easy check-in process. Despite the minor issue of the discomfort of the pullout bed, we had a positive stay and would definitely stay here again. The room felt more spacious than expected. The room was quiet, and there was no noise transfer from other guests.

When I checked in, My room had a bed that was not made. The desk clerk immediately and politely got me another room. Marriott is always a first class facility and this was no exception. Very clean and comfortable.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would say that is the best part of staying here. I had to stay because my ac broke. I moved in for 2 nights with my husband, 3 month old, and 2 cats. The pet charge for the 2 cats was $75 total for both cats for the 2 nights which i thought was pretty reasonable. The room was really comfortable and very clean. The rooms are updated and have a fully stocked small kitchen area. There is even 2 burners, a dishwasher, and a full size fridge in the kitchen. There was also a nice sofa in the room. They gave me a pack n play for a crib which was free, but the only complaint i have about the entire stay is the pack n play was a little worn down and the foam pad inside not comfortable and didn't fit the pack n play. My baby ended up underneath the pad half the time. Besides this the stay was wonderful and i would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was ok I understand they were full and I think we might have been in their last room. We were in a handicap room on the 1st floor. It was fine until we walked into the bathroom and there was a handicap shower seat in there. That was just really gross. It made the whole room feel dirty. They need to keep that seat somewhere else unless someone needs it. It was just really gross and dirty sitting there.

The pool and hot tub were great. Room had a weird smell. Pet fee wasn't mentioned before booking so I felt a bit robbed there.

We were able to check in late. Though I booked a nonsmoking room our room had a smoking smelled. Since it was late we just stayed and did not try to find another room.

It needs a good deep cleaning. The pool area is beautiful, but again the pool itself was needing to be cleaned. The staff was great, they were kind and helpful. All in all, disappointed and probably won’t stay again. The suite was so small and cramped, it did not provide the space that was needed.

We had a great time down in St George. Room was adequate but seemed small for a 2 bdr suite. Didn't use kitchen, but noticed you need to borrow everything to use it.

Great spot. Desk staff was delightful, and breakfast each morning was quite good. The hotel is very clean and in a nice area, close to dining and shopping but still quiet. My only quibble is with the placement of the TV. It's off to one side of both the queen beds and the couch, so that you can't easily settle to watch TV without turning your head. It's ok for casual viewing, but we were watching a basketball game that was important to us, which left us a little uncomfortable. Our room was next to the elevator -- maybe that had something to do with the odd arrangement? On a positive note, noise from the elevator was not a problem.

Breakfast was pretty good and great breakfast hours. They deactivated our keys 1 hr before our checkout which we had to go too the office to get it activated again. Consequently the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking before we checked out. Overall we liked it there and we recommend it, but there is definitely room for improvement

The beds are horrible. My bed sloped to the middle.

Breakfast wasn’t the greatest. Not many options. Heard a dog barking and whining in the room beside us. Pool area was nice. Rooms were ok. Bed very bouncy and could feel every move.

I used a free voucher i earned on hotels.com for the room. I had to pay the difference plus taxes. At check in my card was ran twice. Once for incidentals and then again for the full price of the room. If i hadn't checked my credit card charges i would have never known until it was too late to do anything about it. I questioned the front desk staff about this charge and i was told it was an inadvertent charge and that it would be refunded in a couple business days. I hope this is right.

Great location to stay if you are getting surgery with with the hospital just 2 blocks away. It’s really an extended stay small apartment with a kitchen at a great value price.

Great pool and access to the places we wanted and needed to go too.
