Spa was amazing lots of undercover space as it rained !! 2 x swim up bars / all staff were amazing too. The hotel itself was lovely all staff were so helpful for walks and village information from breakfast to bar and evening meal, only issue is that lunch is not available. Also no lifts and if older people would struggle getting upstairs.

Second visit to the Manor House Spa. This was my first visit since they open the Spa. Its was lovely. Not to packed and lots of areas for you to choose. We didn’t book a treatment but maybe when we revisit when the second pool opens. I wouldn’t book through hotels as their packages don’t include access to the Spa Garden and that’s the best bit. I would recommend that the indoor spa should get a jacuzzi and a kettle with a longer lead to read the plug!

Lovely stay, feeling very relaxed. Room was very clean and comfy. Could do with a some uk plug sockets near the bedside tables. The sockets there were not usable. There were other sockets available, but not many. Breakfast was good, dinner was amazing!! Access to the indoor pool, sauna and steam room was perfect for relaxing.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and professional, but also went out of their way with customer service. The outdoor spa area was gorgeous, peaceful and such a special treat. I would definitely book again.

Friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Outstanding and spotless spa facilities, including swim up bar, herbal steam room and a salt room meditation. Our food was out of this world with excellent service. Thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely night stay on our way back from another trip. Hotel was clean, the staff were all lovely and the food was beautiful. As hotel guests we had free use of the indoor pool/sauna/steam which was a nice way to relax before dinner (outdoor spa is charged extra). We also got 20% off food and drink. Cocktails were good too!

I Stayed in a cozy double room, which was nicely furnished, very clean, lovely bed sheets and soft furnishings. The hotel gym is very good and not busy at all as its only for residents. The pool, steam room and sauna is superb, very clean, smells nice and very relaxing - again never very busy - 4-5 people came and went in the hour i was in there.

Every single member of staff we encountered at the Manor House was friendly, attentive and very helpful. I'd like to specifically mention Michelle G who served us in the restaurant on Friday night - she was excellent and dealt perfectly with a slightly unusual situation regarding some massive steaks! The food and drink was outstanding throughout, from afternoon tea in the spa, to breakfast, and the massive steaks (Porterhouse)! The only points for improvement I would say were a few things in the ensuite bathroom in our room (104). The shower head had some black mould on it and the wall attachment to hold the shower gel was no longer attached, so the bottle didn't sit correctly in it and we couldn't actually get any shower gel out of the bottle. There was also a socket in the room (below the TV) that seemed to be a bit loose on the wall. These are just small things, and overall the room was comfortable, and I slept well both nights.

We were extremely pleased when we arrived at the Manor House Hotel and spa , I think this is a very high quality boutique hotel and the description on the website does not do it justice. The hotel lobby is very nicely furnished helpful , our room was super comfortable and extremely clean and tidy and well equipped . My wife and I both used the spa , this is a very high quality spa one of the best we've been in for a long time . We had an extremely nice meal in the restaurant and breakfast was cooked to order was super hot and very tasty , we will definitely be staying here again

Overall we loved our stay, the food was the highlight. Would highly recommend the evening menu, top class and great value too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Next was the steam room which was. The pool was nice, but a bit shallow and small. A jacuzzi would have been great. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was a bit a letdown ans a bit wobbly annd unfortunately also there weee marks on the duvet and the bath robe, which was a shame.

Not cheap by any means, but…. Great Rooms, Great Staff, Great Food, Clean, Quiet! It is almost like a Hilton Hotel, but if Hilton were to take this place over, they would ruin it. Third time staying. Will be back again.

Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. Staff very friendly. Facilities are good and clean. The food at the restaurant was above standard - some very nice dishes. Breakfast was fine - good selection and lots of healthy options. I didn't have time to try the Spa but it looked amazing. Probably wouldn't go again as a solo traveller as a lot of customers seem to be there for the Spa so felt very couple-y.

The property was good, but it was a hot day and they don't have AC in rooms. They provide a fan and windows that open, but then a bee flew in. Button for turning on hot towel rack wasn't marked, so we had that heat, too. Though they sent someone up to the room to explain about the switch for the towel rack. Food was very good and included in our room rate.

Since changing their focus to a spa-hotel, the service has deteriorated. The attitude of the front desk is snooty and not always very competent. It is convenient for us so we stay anyway. The restaurants are fine and the rooms are adequate.

I dont often leave reviews, probably because I seem to spend half my life in hotels with work, but the Manor House Hotel deserves some serious plaudits. From the minute I arrived I have been seriously impressed at every turn. From the well balanced professionalism/friendliness of all the staff, the superb 3 course dinner (the Pork & Scallops starter is the best I've had with the Scallops cooked to perfection) to the stunning Spa facilities (particularly the outdoor area) The room is clean, bed comfortable and a great shower. Not really sure what more I or anyone could really ask for! Top Class and I'll be back.

I had a few bad incidents one after the other there but it was all legit accidents so I can forgive and the team bent over backwards to make up for things. Have stayed before and it was faultless. I literally cannot wait to go again, from the staff to the layout, to the food, the drink, the cleanliness, the quietness. This place one of two of my favourite places I've ever been to. Thanks team! Xxx

Spa was amazing lots of undercover space as it rained !! 2 x swim up bars / all staff were amazing too. The hotel itself was lovely all staff were so helpful for walks and village information from breakfast to bar and evening meal, only issue is that lunch is not available. Also no lifts and if older people would struggle getting upstairs.

Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. Staff very friendly. Facilities are good and clean. The food at the restaurant was above standard - some very nice dishes. Breakfast was fine - good selection and lots of healthy options. I didn't have time to try the Spa but it looked amazing. Probably wouldn't go again as a solo traveller as a lot of customers seem to be there for the Spa so felt very couple-y.

Now I've found this hotel, I'll keep using it on work trips. Good rooms, nice little gym, good menu, good breakfast. For a couple in the summer, the spa garden looks amazing, but only seen it in autumn/winter. Pool nice too for relaxation.

Upon arrival the place is just stunning, came to pay for the room only to be told no cash, nothing jumps out on the website to say it’s cashless. This was disappointing to us due to my husband selling motorbike we thought we treat ourselves to a little spa and a night away with the cash., luckily we did have our credit card with us if we didn’t have this we would have in stuck! This would have been very unfortunate for us and somewhat embarrassing. This was booked for our 33rd anniversary. The room was okay, the bathroom was so tiny! Indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room lovely. Restaurant also very lovely, food was lovely but came out too quick! As for the spa facilities outside, absolutely stunning, the sun was out which made it even more special🤗. Overall stay, we will definitely give it 8/10. Definitely was returned for the spa.

A very disappointing stay at an overpriced hotel - I booked this as a special treat. Have had much better experiences in a Premier Inn at a fraction of the price. Free dinner was included at £35/head, but it ended up costing us about £20 because drinks weren't included which wasn't advised beforehand. Restaurant staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Rooms very tired with no aircon, rotting windows and the shower was poor. Wifi speed extremely slow. Breakfast was table service, but food wasn't freshly cooked; it had been dished up from a pre-cooked buffet.

I dont often leave reviews, probably because I seem to spend half my life in hotels with work, but the Manor House Hotel deserves some serious plaudits. From the minute I arrived I have been seriously impressed at every turn. From the well balanced professionalism/friendliness of all the staff, the superb 3 course dinner (the Pork & Scallops starter is the best I've had with the Scallops cooked to perfection) to the stunning Spa facilities (particularly the outdoor area) The room is clean, bed comfortable and a great shower. Not really sure what more I or anyone could really ask for! Top Class and I'll be back.

Overall we loved our stay, the food was the highlight. Would highly recommend the evening menu, top class and great value too. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Next was the steam room which was. The pool was nice, but a bit shallow and small. A jacuzzi would have been great. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was a bit a letdown ans a bit wobbly annd unfortunately also there weee marks on the duvet and the bath robe, which was a shame.

The hotel looks unassuming from the outside but once inside the Spa the experience goes stratospheric. I could have spent two days in the spa. The weather was fantastic, two pool bars, swing beds, the list goes on. Brilliant.
