Boston West Hotel

The staff are amazing and couldn’t do enough to go above and beyond to make our stay for the weekend amazing. The facility’s are all new and clean. Rooms are clean and modern. Loads of parking We will definitely visit again.

Nice room as always, parking right out side. Easy access has lift.

Really nice place, have a singer and bingo in clubhouse and although we didn't eat there as we only stayed to go to a party nearby, the food looked really good. There's crazy golf as well.

Room had all we needed for our overnight stay; no frills but this was reflected in the value for money price. Family fun could be had on onsite golf course and meals at the guest services centre

Have to check in at seperate building past hotel. This time year early dark nights not good lighting to find entrance and exit to car parks. Also if you want to eat here have to go back to seperaye building further on from hotel.

Boston …. Hotel was great but no air con …. That would only be a issue if we returned in hot weather but it’s a bit odd staying in such a nice hotel and breakfast is not available on site🤔

Room modern, clean and furniture in good condition. Lovely new carpet. You have to go to the golf club house for check in, it'd be good to know this before parking up at the hotel. On a weeknight lots of noisy door slamming at 6am from contractors staying on site, desperately need some door buffers!

Room was great and spacious, facilities like the splash park and playground were perfect for keeping the kids entertained and excellent service.

Loved our stay here. 2 adults & 2 children (age 1 and 7) the room was cosy, clean and very spacious. We did find the restaurant drinks and food a little on the expensive side tbh, but they were nice especially the food and cocktails. Also it was pretty annoying that there’s only two plug sockets in the massive family room. If I’d of known I’d of taken an extension lead. We needed one for the fan as it was a hot room and then we needed to charge our phones and an iPad. So this was a little disappointing. However, the hotel facilities were fab, such as the splash area for kids and the playground. It also has a small arcade area and vending machines. We only did a one night stay, but found a bargain on Expedia and will definitely be back to stay when in the area 😃

Room on arrive was dirty. Wee over the floor and toilet seat. No soap, bathroom floor was dirty. Beds ridiculously uncomfortable and duvet too small for the size of the bed. Tv didn’t work. Hotel food and staff were great but the room was a very poor standard

Arrived at hotel and check in was fine. Got into my room (3) discovered the bed had marks on the sheet. Went to speak to reception about moving rooms, I was told there was no spare rooms. Asked them to change the bed and was told I would need to change the bed and that some fresh bedding would be left in the room. Full place was a disgrace, front of house at reception didn’t seem to care. Checked out and no one asked how the stay was etc Bar staff were friendly

Pleasant staff, large room, comfy bed and very clean

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms themselves were good and had everything we needed. The signage for the hotel reception want the clearest so we went to the hotel area instead of reception first. I also had some trouble with the smell of my bathroom but they sorted this the following day.

I was left with not cleaned room

The shower curtain in the bathroom was black and dirty, needs a good clean, and there was marks on the bed lining, and also no pillow protects and pillows was stained. But the pillows, quilt and cover was nice, and the bed was very comfortable had a good sleep..Adam the receptionists was really nice and very helpful 👌 had a nice meal and drinks, it was bingo night which i love, just had to walk back in the dark to our hotel.. we had the ground floor which was good, but next time i will ask for second floor because its got a balcony, this place is massive because its a caravan park, with massive golf course. I will definitely be staying there again.

Clean room

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations due to a number of serious issues. Firstly, the general condition of the hotel requires attention. The public corridors had visible damage to the walls, and housekeeping trolleys filled with dirty bed linen were left in these areas for extended periods, creating an unclean and unpleasant environment. In the room itself, the bathroom bin was rusty and the foot pedal to open it was broken. Additionally, there were only two power sockets available in the entire room — an inconvenience when trying to use essentials such as the fan and kettle while also needing to charge devices, especially when the sockets were located far from the bed. However, the most concerning issue was a serious animal welfare matter. One evening, a cat was reported to hotel security after being seen shut inside a van in the car park. The registration number was provided. Shockingly, the next morning the cat was still inside the same van, with no ventilation, windows, or visible air flow — despite outside temperatures reaching 18°C. This situation is potentially life-threatening for an animal in an enclosed vehicle. When I raised this with the duty manager, she was unaware of the report from the previous night. I was assured that staff would door-knock all rooms, which they did, but I was then confronted by a rude and dismissive member of staff who claimed, “it’s a camper van, the cat is fine.” Police notified

Room was lovely, above expectations, lots of space and very clean.

This is our 3rd stay and by far the worst. Previously I couldn’t fault the rooms but this time wasn’t great. First of there was black mould around the bath sealant and in the grout which I am aware is a nightmare to get rid of but growing on the tiles is cleanable. The cold tap was completely broken and I was told by a room cleaner that they had been aware of this for 3 days and were waiting for a new tap, he was shocked I wasn’t told about this when checking in. Everything else was fine in the room and the bed was super comfy. Then we get to breakfast! NEVER AGAIN! I ordered eggs Benedict and what I received looked like a plate of slop. I complained which I never usually do but it was awful, I showed them a picture of what eggs Benedict should look like and they replaced it. The second plate was much better. I will stay again but I’ll avoid the restaurant.

The check in was easy the lady on reception was very pleasant, the room was nice enough, but, only 1 plug socket no sockets near the beds, the heater/cooler on the wall didnt work and the fan in the bathroom didnt work, when its 30 degrees it needs the cooler working as the fan in the room was a waste of time and filthy

Fantastic front desk lady on arrival, apologies I forget her name! The room was a very good size with great amenities and the balcony was a beautiful surprise on what was a warm evening/night!!!

Room was really good basic but that’s all we needed for the night only bad point it was really warm in the room and uncomfortable to get to sleep and stayed warm all night window didn’t open much to try and get some cold air in

When you arrive ignore the signs for hotel parking & head straight to guest services, as you can’t check-in in the building where the rooms are. The rooms in the building are not well signposted (upstairs) and do not run in number order. The rooms are well laid out & equipped, the bed was a lumpy but my husband slept well. Now, the building is noisy, you can clearly hear people talking in the corridor & “adult activities” from other rooms. I would be unlikely to stay again as there are many other choices in the area

Very nice clean hotel... for the price you pay its a lot better than some! Although, a few niggles i noticed during my 3 night say were as follows - - bed was hard and uncomfortable - electric shaving port in the bathroom doesn't allow you to plug the plug in! - make sure you bring an extension lead, as there is is only 2 double plug sockets in the whole room, 1 of which is behind the TV which is on the wall! (Nothing eitherside of the bed, or behind the bed for that matter)

Room was spacious but could do with a make over. Looked tired and dated with marks and scrapes on the wall. Bathroom had what looked like previous water leak in the ceiling and beginning to peel. Noisy extractor fan that randomly comes on during the night 2 beds put next to each other with king size mattress over the top but beds not locked together so began to separate. Firm mattress but base was noisy every time you turned over. Funky smell in the corridor as we walked in. Could definitely do with an upgrade. Sadly won’t be staying again

Mattresses gone. Terrible night sleep. I decided to book so to avoid a very early morning drive and ended up getting less sleep than had we stayed at home. Both mattresses knackered, dipping in the centre when clearly supposed to be firmer, one you could feel the springs through. Every side of my body I tried to sleep on ended up arching into the dip. Stayed here many times before.. had booked a premium room which ours wasn’t, at least as the last time. Since last time the mattresses have obviously had their day. Will not be staying again.

We stayed 2 nights. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Room was a lot more spacious than I thought it would be. Very happy. Lovely lady who checked us in and lovely staff in the bar for breakfast and dinner. I can’t remember the lady’s names but very lovely and friendly. It really made our stayed having staff that wanted to talk and see how your day went.

On arrival there was no hot water the boiler had gone wrong the manager was rude and told me and my 80 year old parents to leave the hotel. Awful experience one of the staff Tracey was amazing.

Check in was awful. Arrived just before 9pm in the dark. Very poor lighting. Building was locked and a sign told me to go to the main building, but with no details or map to tell me where the main building was. It took a 5 minute conversation with someone on the phone to get simple instructions on where to go. Very poor start to the experience.

Overall stay was very enjoyable, room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was ideal in a tranquil location. The lady on reception was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful and was a credit to the Resort. The bar/restaurant was a different story it was staffed by young people (not that i have anything against that) but they weren't attentive! We had a couple of drinks from the bar and then decided after a 7 hour drive to eat in at the Restaurant, very bad experience firstly i asked what the soup of the day was, on checking was advised there wasn't one and they very rarely had one! There was an offer posted on the inside door of the gents cubicles advertising a free pint (attached) if you ordered a burger so went for that only to be told that offer had finished months ago so question why the poster hadn't been removed! This spolit our evening and decided to walk the 5 minutes to the Wheatsheaf Inn pub and restaurant not only were the price of the drinks cheaper, but the ambiance and quality of the food was exceptional. We were going to have breakfast on our last day before departing but our experience last night put us off! I would definitely visit again, but would give the bar/restaurant a wide berth.

Nice superking bed. Small balcony with two chairs and a table looking onto a golf course. You do need your own transport. There is a railway station a few hundred yards walk away but the trains only stop there twice a day. Really nice helpful staff.

Our stay here was just perfect situated just 2 mins from the wedding venue we were guests at for a family wedding, very clean fresh And smart rooms well worth the money-staff were very polite and accommodating the restaurant is only a few seconds walk across the car park and caters for all types of needs, highly recommended don’t deny yourself this cheap luxury especially if you love golf as it has its own course and range, Enjoy.

Nice hotel on edge of golf course. But be aware there is not a lot around. Shops are a 10 minutes drive away. If you dont drive there is however a train station with a service to Boston centre 5 minutes walk away.

Good value and ideal location.

Loved the position of the Boston West Hotel. It was situated within easy reach of a lot of Lincolnshire attractions. Our room faced the golf course and was quiet. We could sit on the balcony and watch the local wildlife - and golfers of course!

Great posotion to break our journey

Spacious modern room with a superking bed. Only one chair in the room.Would have liked a seating area.Staff were fantastic. Food was very good and reasonably priced.Would definitely stay here again.

Food in the bar was nice , decent beer. All in all very nice. ps i left my charger and leads behind ffs

Good stay, only downpoints. TV did not work in one of rooms 2nd day. Only giving 4 milks and not topping up teabags on 2nd day of a 2 night stay. Complimentary biscuits would also be nice as not much around. Restaurant at golf course very over priced for not good quality and although when booking states breakfast available in Restaurant thats only at weekends.

Breakfast was awful. Sausages completely burnt as were the mushrooms. The rest was cold and unedible. Paid £43 for the privilege... Room was spacious, bed comfy.

Quite a nice hotel with good course and nice grounds. Bar and restaurant nice but pricey. Away with work but felt like I was on holiday as a holiday vibe with chalets being leased on site.

Cheap, good facilities, breakfast starts at 0900hrs which is no good for business travellers but it's fine if you're aware.

The bed was very comfortable, and we had a good nights sleep. Food in the Restaurant were big portions. The hotel was a 2 minute walk to collect Keys for the rooms that we stayed in. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the experience that we stayed in. Pictures of Lincolnshire would have been nice, on the walls
