The Jubilee Hotel East - with NEWLY REFURBISHED SPA FACILITIES - GAMESPIT - AND SMOKEHOUSE

Boiler had broken on the day we arrived! No hot water to our en suite bathroom. Other facilities were offered on the other side of the hotel! Then after being told this, we asked about parking. We were told that is going to be an extra £10 a night. And had to leave our keys behind reception as all the cars were double and triple parked! Considering we had no hot water, I thought adding an extra was a bit of a cheek. They did offer us discount at the bar if we drank in there!

The property is very well run by attentive & friendly staff. Although we didn't use all the facilities as we only stayed one night there was lots to do at the hotel including a spa experience, games room, bar & lots more. The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked but as I'm vegan the choice was limited. I would highly recommend this hotel as it's in a very convenient location opposite the beach & close to shops & restaurants & bars.

I choose the hotel as it had an outside hot tub however I didn’t realise there was an extra cost for this. This would have been fine but it was going to cost £54 for the 3 of us to use it for one hour! So disappointed ☹️ Also parking was stressful! Staff were lovely though.

The Jubillee Hotel is a huge star in Weymouth for me, the Rooms are fantastic with great amenities and staff that always help with any queries, happy to help guests with anything they need during their stay, the family atmosphere is very welcoming and down to earth, I was made to feel like a part of this hotel community and would highly recommend staying if you are visiting Weymouth for pleasure or buisness. There are also great entertainment options with a range of different rooms for each activity such as darts room, karaoke booths, spa treatment (out of this world massages), excellent menus of food which is mouth watering just from the smell alone, they also help locals in the community in a variety of ways. Thank you to the owners and staff for such a wonderful experience it’s been a pleasure to meet and spend time with everyone guests included.

Need to sort shower too hot andno way to adjust ,parking needs to be cheaper and pet stays

This is a family run hotel in a Victorian building. Our room was really large with a high ceiling with a sea view on the ground floor. Staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to resolve a couple of small issues with the room. The hotel has a spa and also provides evening entertainment even in low season when we visited. We had a really nice stay and the room was good value. Breakfast was also very nice The location is excellent. If you want four five star then this may not meet your expectations, but if you want, clean comfortable, well located and friendly then it gets our vote.

The room was very small not what it looked like on the hotel photos with only a view of the car park,didn't realise that we would have to pay extra for parking and wasn't happy about having to leave my car keys for hotel staff to move my car when I wasn't there due to parking being so minimal and squashed for a big hotel this was no advertised, Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was very good

Upon arrival the staff was great but then I found out that breakfast wasn’t included with the price package and had to pay extra. My large room was on the 3rd floor and the lift wasn’t working and the room must of shrunk as it was tiny crammed with a double bed the bathroom was tiny and no air con. Then she parking was crammed in a small space which left me to leave my car in a car park near the town with a free permit from the hotel

Parking was a bit mad! Considering it cost an extra £10 a day… otherwise, though, staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite clean and spacious. Location was great.

Spotlessly clean! Friendly staff. Room functional and comfortable and ideal as a base. I would definitely stay here again.

Cups and spoon filthy in the room, milk was a month past the best before date, don’t want to think what was in the sink plug hole, but didn’t look pleasant, stone cold shower and trust me I tried everything to get it remotely warm. The bar was busy and the staff were friendly, I didn’t eat at the hotel so can not comment on the food. parking a nightmare where you had to double park and block other guests in, you were expected to leave your car key at reception, I guess this was so they could move your car if someone wanted to get out early. Would I stay again?…. No.

The room could of done with a deep clean, dirty toilat brush,stained toilet, shower heads full of limescale, and kettle had limescale stains, apart from that we enjoyed are stay and loved the evening entertainment

Premium familly room worn out and dirty. No airconditioning. Fans available but full of dust. Window could not be kept open. Lift and hot water out of order.

When they say small bronze room. Small is an exaggeration. The door into the room and into the bathroom would hit the bed. In the room we found a previous guests sweets under the bed and vape under the bedside table. When we arrived a staff member was in the process of being sent home with suspected Covid, two others had already been sent home with it. There was no wifi available The location of the hotel is lovely but that is the only good thing I can say.

No parking on the day of arrival. Dirty bathroom, plug full of hairs so shower wasn’t draining. Tv remote didn’t work so couldn’t put on the tv.

First I was checked into a wheelchair adapted room although I was assured it was just a normal large single room, first thing that hit me was the strong smell of urine on opening the door then found the bathroom to be a wet floor with hand rails everywhere, so asked for a different room and was given a double room which seemed fine although the shower cubicle was dirty and had not been cleaned properly in a good while, the bed was pushed up to and blocking the window so I had to climb on the bed to open and close the curtains, the net curtain was dirty and full of tears/holes so scruffy (when I asked why they placed the bed in this manor they said "we like it there") so when I went to bed around 10pm there was a loud rumbling sound outside the window which went on until around 3am and kept me awake by which time I couldn't get to sleep so at 6am I was walking on the esplanade. I went to reception and asked for a refund and said I would find somewhere else to stay, they gave a me third room on the second floor and admitted the noise was from the tumble dryer. this room was okay but the same thing with the dirty shower cubicle. They charge £10 per night for the dog but don't service the rooms daily you have to ask for top up tea/coffee etc, it would be fairer to charge an amount for the complete stay as they only clean once. The staff were quite helpful but my holiday was spoiled by the upset of all of the above, I can't recommend this hotel and would never stay there again.

Room clean. Beds comfortable. Great location on seafront. My room 12 had partition wall to the next room with no effective soundproofing.

Hotel is in a great location overlooking the sea. Family room is a good size but the bathroom could do with being bigger or having a bath especially if a family room. Shower water pressure was awful. Entertainment in the evening was good fun

Booked online and selected my room. Was nothing like the images shown for my room. Was smaller than a shoe box as a 5ft 6 person i didnt expect my feet to hang off the bed

Wonderful welcoming staff, great services and location. Walking distance to beach, town, restaurants and harbour. Only concerns was uncomfortable bed, pillows and shower was very slippy.

On the plus side it was close to the seafront, comfortable mattress, and comparatively cheap. However the room had very limited space, noisy as old single glazed window next to busy road and noise from others inside. Shower temperature too hot couldn't adjust. Door sticking and required force to open and shut

Staff were great. Good hotel location Bedroom walls are extremely thin, we hardly slept as we really heard other guests. Doors need soft closing mechanism as lots of banging doors very early in the morning.

The staff are lovely and welcoming and the food is delicious. You get what you pay for and this is a great place to stay in a great location

Love this hotel 2nd time we've stayed. Staff brilliant especially Jess she is amazing and really made our holiday.

We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but the staff worked hard to allow us into the room early. Upon return to our room after dinner, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom (as the extractor was blowing air in!), however Darrell noted the issue carefully for their maintenance team and moved us to another room immediately. Great service

We had a Lovely stay at the Jubilee, staff were very helpful and polite, Breakfast was Excellent, lots of facilities, parking a little awkward when busy but not a problem.

Good points: Central location & close to the seafront Bad points: reception is to the rear of the property through a car park. Not signposted. On my way to hotel I got caught in a heavy downpour then spent 30 mind shivering in wet clothes trying to get into the property to check in. I tried the reception phone number at least 10 times & only managed to get in after trying adjoining restaurant a few times The check in took ages and I was dealt with in a very perfunctory manner. Had to carry heavy luggage myself & wasnt shown to my room (just up to the floor) wasn’t exactly straightforward to find. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable but I had an old sash window which wouldn’t close and was only covered by a pair of shabby curtains which barely closed properly. The shower had weak pressure and was cold. Shower door very flimsy and it suddenly made sense why they kept going on about fines for property damage during check in. The bed itself was reasonably comfortable but due to the window the room was freezing - i felt vulnerable & couldn’t get any sleep. Fixtures and fittings generally poor and felt like I was staying in a bedsit. I didn’t want to have to go back down to complain about room as I was worried about getting locked out again. Check out was ok. Different person on reception and she was at least somewhat interested and concerned about my feedback. Apart from that a thoroughly unpleasant experience didn’t want to stay for breakfast and was glad to leave.

Lovely hotel 3 min walk to the sea front, great staff, lovely bar and seating area, food was absolutely amazing, me and my misses had a mixed gril and it was the biggest and best mixed grill i have ever eaten, well cooked, portion sizes was huge, well worth the money, our room was upgraded, we had an issue with the toilet and it was fixed within 10 mins of reporting it i would definitely stay there again a massive thumbs up from me, well done guys great effort

We arrived and couldn't find the reception and signs are not clear. After 15 mins walking up and down stairs and finding locked doors, we found the reception at the back of the property (weird place for a reception). Parking was full at the property and they gave us a permit to park 10 to 15 mins walk away. They handed us the key, and told us how to find the room but instructions not clear. The hotel is a maze. We found the stairs in the end, and the signs again not clear! They have different wings and room numbers are confusing. We opened the toom door and the smell of sewage knocked us back, our seaview room was tiny and definitely not as expected from the photos, bed was an old springy mattress deformed so had a dip in the middle, pillows are terribly uncomfortable. Carpet had stains, furnitures was stained and old, used plastic bag in one of the side drawers, shower was tiny with no pressure and scolding hot water, toilet wasn't properly bolted to the floor AND had a public hair in it (wasn't clean). The window wwasnt lockable due to the lock and the fixture being VERY unaligned. Room was freezing when we got back after dinner and no heating on. Morning was boiling as they seemed to have the heating on again. We went to the bar and ordered cocktails which were very nice and then decided to get dinner. We ordered 2 chillis at the bar and waited an hour, when they didn't arrive we complained and they said the order wasn't in the system. We got the food in the end.

The location was convenient, my overall experience was disappointing. **Pros:** - The hotel was in a great spot, making it easy to explore Weymouth’s attractions. - My room was generally fine but could benefit from some maintenance to freshen things up. **Cons:** - The bar area lacked cleanliness, with sticky tables and floors that weren’t well maintained. - Staff seemed more focused on socialising with each other rather than ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. - A member of staff spilled some of my drink and responded with unprofessional language right in front of me. - The biggest issue was the noise—doors slamming throughout the night made it difficult to get any sleep. While the location worked well for my trip, the lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and general upkeep made the stay less enjoyable. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, and I’d recommend it only to those who aren’t bothered by noise and inconsistent service.

Was lovely spot on weymouth seafront loveky little room for 1 but could do with sorting floor boards.. Apart from that a lovely little stay would definitely stay again

Best location and opposite the sea

Good location. About a 15 min walk to town centre. Sea view was nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and spacious. Unfortunately there was empty milk sachets in the tea and coffee area in our room so had to pop back down to get more milk from reception. There was no toiletries either only shower gel on the wall in a dispenser. Traffic was very noisy throughout the night but not a huge issue. It was nice being able to have the huge windows left open all night. Parking is £10 a night. Comfortable beds. Shower lovely and hot.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Plenty to offer, Americsn smokehouse restaurant on site providing superb meals. Buffet breakfast was best we have had in a hotel. Would definatley stay again.

Old hotel, small rooms, smell of smooking inside. Ok for 1 night, but not for a week. Good breakfast and location.

Family sea Room was lovely shame the window didnt open very much 8 out of 10 Having a shower was very very dangerous no cold water coming out of the shower so couldn't give my grandchildren a shower Breakfast wasn't brilliant didnt have much of a choice 2 out of 10 also the lady at the breakfast counter was quite rude meat was over cooked Payed £92 a night then another 11.50 each for breakfast

Josh and Dan excellent chefs 10 out 20 for the quality of the food and how well it was cooked. The reception staff were kind and patient. Breakfast staff were also amazing we felt like we had a break thank you 😊
