The hotel is Beautiful BUT they were renovating rooms. Mattress boxes were in common areas of each floor as well as stacked boxes in the Lobby Common room. Empty hoxes and trash was outside on the deont side of the property. There had to be a better plan.

It seems this hotel is currently undergoing some room renovations as there were boxes of new furniture and old furniture being disposed of. This did not impact our stay and was neatly stacked out of the way of major walkways. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great if you are going to an event at Gaylord or looking to spend some time in National Harbor. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options that also rotated each day (eggs, at least one breakfast meat, waffle makers, other assorted breakfast foods). My only complaint was the state of the pool. I specifically booked a hotel with a pool which the hotel does have but it was very dirty with a very weird looking material floating along the bottom. We also noticed it didn’t seem chlorinated and was just overall unsanitary. Disappointing but the rest of the stay was great and comfortable so I can’t complain too much.

The pool is not heated... kids could not swim because indoor pool water was freezing. Makes no sense to have indoor pool in a cold climate region and its not heated!! Dont pick this hotel if looking for pool for kids when its cold outside.

Stayed several times prior. May not stay here again due to poor parking arrangements and extreme inconvenience. Unable to exit the parking garage during our stay and at the time of checkout. The vendor was no help and the hotel staff was inconsistent with their recommendation for a workaround. Loss of time, frustration and I still had to pay for parking.

Everything was great about our stay and the staff was even able to check us in early which was awesome. The only real downside was that the elevators were super slow. We were constantly waiting for them and at one point only one of them was even working. Otherwise great place to stay.

With renovations taking place the elevators were full of boxes that completely took the entire space allowing for few guests to enter. The elevator definitely was overweight creating a safety and health hazard. The hotel was filthy. I would never stay there ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone

For 4 days during a conference one elevator worked. Also the water was off without warning. They gave notice of a time and then changed it, woke up yo no running water! Which was off until about 11:30am. The original notice said 11am to 3pm

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. The bathroom in the lobby was filthy, which was extremely off-putting. The mirror in my room was in poor condition and clearly needs to be replaced. Additionally, there was a strong unpleasant odor when stepping onto the floor, suggesting that the carpet is old and may need to be changed. I’ve never had issues like this before, so this experience left me very dissatisfied.

It was okay. Rooms were a bit small but what really bothered me the most was there were just so many stains. In our room on the carpet and chair and the furniture in the lobby. Just seems kind of gross when you have to look before you sit.

I discovered a bug in my bed while staying at the hotel. I promptly reported the issue to the front desk and the housekeeping manager was brought in to address it. Unfortunately, instead of providing a thorough cleaning or offering an alternative room the manager offered only complimentary parking and was presented as a “take it or leave it” option. This response not only failed to address the immediate concern but also left me feeling unsupported and uncomfortable. Due to the lack of adequate response, I made the decision to check out a day early and booked alternate accommodations at my own expense. In an attempt to escalate the issue, I obtained the contact information for the regional manager and left a detailed voicemail. Despite my outreach, I have not received any acknowledgment or response which further underscores the lack of support at various levels of management. Given the unsatisfactory experience and lack of response from staff I can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was pretty standard for a Hampton In , although there was no fridge. I called the front desk and was told most rooms have them, but not all. Outside of my room, the sixth floor hallway smelled awful, like fish. I saw them attempting to clean the rug, but the smell never went away.

Helpful staff and clean accommodations, but couldn’t compensate for the light and noise from the parking garage. My room was on the second floor facing the parking garage, and had sheer curtains. There was nothing to block the light from the open parking garage, so the room never got dark enough to sleep in. In addition, the people hollering, the beeps from car alarms, all made the room terrible. The staff was nice, the toiletries were sustainable (yay!), breakfast was better than most hotels in this range, and everything was clean. Get a room that faces the convention center!!!

It was very convenient to convention that I was attending at a reasonable rate, with clean rooms and very helpful & pleasant staff. Having breakfast included was also a nice add-on. Daytime front desk clerk is worth a mention. Name, I think, was Damien. Very accommodating & pleasant. I would definitely return.

Had a decent stay here. The property is overall nice, nothing fancy. The area with snacks/drinks was kind of odd. Staff was never at the desk and we had to wait for them to come out. Worst part of the stay was the fact that housekeeping knocked on our door at 0930 when we had the do not disturb sign on the door. It woke us up and we yelled that we did not need housekeeping. 10 minutes later they came back and started trying to come in the room! My husband had to get up and go to the door and tell them we did not need them, again. Check out wasn’t until 11am, so I’m not sure why it was necessary to do that.

Unfortunately, this property within one year ( I stayed last year) was not the same with regards to staffing, pricing, (broken elevator), room itself didn't have the fridge it used to, nor the friendliness or willingness of staff to be customer oriented! Example I got locked out of hotel because they close entry at 8 or 9 pm and you need your key card to enter. I didn't know about this so I was standing at the door banging while the front desk person looked on, waved, ignored me, stayed on phone, never came over to help me and it was unacceptable! If you don't have polite educated front desk staff, you better sell the property to a chain that can operate it correctly. This was a sad visit, because my first time was simply divine! Things can change fast in the hotel business, so I'd be very careful about this place. The manager was a temp and told me how much trouble they have finding people to work?? If that's the case, it should be taken over by a company that can run it better. The daily included breakfast is always something I enjoy and it's definitely great still!!

The bed was like a rock. But what made this a horrible stay was the staff. In the middle of the night I was woken up by knocking at the door. Before I could get there to see who it was, the door unlocked and started to open. Thankfully I had the security latch set. Turns out it was a maintenance worker bringing pillows and sheets which we did not order. They were for another room. It was a total invasion of my privacy and traumatized my daughter who couldn't sleep the rest of the stay. The hotel apologized, admitted it was "incredibly unsettling" and offered me a $20 credit to somehow make up for it.
