AC Hotel National Harbor Washington, DC Area

This property has absolutely nothing besides the surrounding attractions. This hotel does not have a swimming pool. There is no food served except for breakfast that is 1295 a person. There is no bar open even though there is a bar located in the lobby. However they do have drinks that you could purchase inside a room with a refrigerator and when microwave oven. The rooms do not have their own microwaves. But the room has a small refrigerator that has two complementary small waters. The front desk give you absolutely no information on anything about the hotel. The ice machine is located on the 8th floor however is the only ice machine in the whole entire Hotel. The amount of money that is charged for these rooms are ridiculous since they have no amenities. The hotel does not have a spa or anything to offer their guest. The beds and pillows that's on the bed are horrible. I was unable to sleep the entire day of 3 days. Which a total of a little over $1,000 was paid to this hotel. Definitely not worth the money. MGM hotels which is right across the harbor have way more amenities and a actual nightlife since the casino is connected. Next time that's where we'll spend our money. The only staff that was courteous polite and welcoming were the cleaning staff and the ones who serve breakfast. Many of the cheaper hotels serve complimentary breakfast that has a much better menu.

Bar is never open every time I stated or visited. It’s a miss opportunity especially during holidays and no one wants to go outside of hotel. Nothing else to do on hotel property.

The AC Hotel at the National Harbor was in a perfect location. Tons of dining, shopping, and sight seeing all walkable to the hotel. MGM Casino was only a 5 min drive, which was perfect. Although there’s no parking garage attached to the hotel, there was a parking garage right next to it making it very easy and convenient. We loved the fact that you needed your room key to get in the main entrance as well, making safety a priority to their guest. The hotel was also very clean and quiet. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you’re visiting the DC area.

The location was excellent! There were a lot of attractions walking distance from the hotel. The only downfall is parking. There is no valet parking. The closet garage is about a 5 minute walk and $24 a night. Besides that, I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the room because it looks nice and fancy. The only problem with the hotel is that it didn’t have a pool.

The heater fan was working all night but the temperature of the room did not go higher than 64 degrees even the termostat was set on 72. The bathroom sliding door was broken and everytime you want to open, it hits the sink. They don't have parking and I had to pay $24 for parking.

The hotel overall was nice, however it does not have its own parking facilities and no restaurant/bar in the hotel itself.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. They need to do something with the parking. Since they don’t have their own parking you need to park in a lot managed by national harbor, which is $24 for 6-24 hours with no in/out ability. They need to partner with the parking garage like the Residence Inn has to allow AC hotel users to have access with their room key, thus giving the ability to use your car freely.

The location is great. The cleanliness needs to be improved. The showers, floors, and glass shelves were not clean at all. I think the housekeeping staff needs major improvement/training/managing. The rooms need a deep cleaning.

My stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful; the room was spotless; the view was gorgeous; and the location was fabulous.

Although I have stayed at this hotel before, I’ve never experienced such an unclean room like I have in this most recent trip. My biggest pet peeve when I book a hotel room is when I walk into the room and I see there’s an unclean shower I wanted to point this out because, amongst everything else in the room, The bathroom and the showers should be the most cleanest. Although I was only staying for one night, I could not take a shower at all. It was very disappointing for myself and my wife. Sadly, I don’t believe will be attending this hotel Any other night we decide to go to the national Harbor.

Great location with a breathtaking view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I have is that the bathroom area could have been cleaner it look like somebody who previously stayed at something on their hand, coming out of the bathroom because it was a hand print visible on where you open the door. I don’t know what was on their hand, the shower was a little moldy in the sink, had a little bit of stuff in it from the last guest. But other than that, I love the late check out at 11 o’clock.

Decent hotel. The WiFi was on and out. Very hard to watch anything on tv due to WiFi going out. Parking wasn’t that great a breakfast was questionable. Not a lot of options for 12.95 a person. “Buffett “ was VERY limited for the price. But it was an okay stay. Have to work on WiFi signal for Netflix and YouTube. It went out for a few hours at a time.

It’s trying to be an AI hotel but nothing worked and the light switches were hard to find and the rooms were airy and clean but felt empty. They had remote control window shades that wasn’t easily able to operate with no manuals. The room was cold and no extra warm Blankies.

To much noise front of my room partying ac was making noise not happy at all

When we first arrived the TV didn't work nor did the phone. We booked a king bed but they only had double beds available so me and my wife had to sleep separately.

I told the front desk this room should be retired until it’s repaired. Many issues, which included a service call to open the safe that was locked upon arrival, a giant stain in the chair, the shower door seam was loose so every shower made a big puddle outside, the tv cable box was hanging on the wall under the tv so it didn’t work without a service call, the tv didn’t work most of the time, a lighting detail under the desk was unplugged because I found out if you plug it in it flickers, and the small lampshade was ripped. Housekeeping was very responsive and the lady was very friendly. I wish I had gotten her name to compliment her. Front desk is attentive and always greeted me.

This hotel is located in the heart of the National Harbor area and is easily accessible to those restaurants and attractions. It's about mile from MGM, we walked there and Ubered back. The hotel staff was very nice and the facility was nice and useful. Our room was very spacious.

Our stay at the hotel began with a warm welcome from Ashley at the front desk. We loved the Harbor view, comfortable bed and close proximity to the piano bar at National Harbor. The parking garage was conveniently located next door and luggage drop off in front was always busy so pack light when you visit or just have patience waiting for a cart.

There was nothing inbthe notice about them not accepting virtual cards for the incidental holding fee. I explianed I recently canceled my credit card because it had been stolen. The deak attentdant claimed there was nothing who could do and I was turned away in the xold after traveling all day. And he couldn't guarantee a refund because of third party booking. Now I'm out like $200 bucks for a room I didn't even stay in. Yikes. Most likely not booking again

I hate the sliding bathroom doors. There is a large gap on the side so that whomever you are sharing a room with will hear and smell you going to the bathroom. Also, my debit card was replaced between booking and the week of my trip. The day before my trip he hotel sent a nasty email saying they were going to cancel my booking and suggested that I look at other hotels in the area. I called in a panic and got it straightened out. Not a good way to start my trip.

I stayed at this hotel after a botched reservation at a hotel up the road. Staff were accommodating even though we didn’t have a reservation. Very clean and friendly staff. The room was great. This would be a great place for a business traveler. Parking is in the garages across the street. You can come and go and they read the license plate. I recommend this property.

Front desk manager and employee were horrible. Charged twice for parking because girl at desk failed to properly explain how to get in and out privileges without being charged multiple times.

Your greeter at the desk had no positive attitude. It was like she had no time to answer the questions or to help you

The AC Hotel is a diamond in the heart of National harbor Maryland. A lot of attractions and the Gaylord convention is right down the street for additional entertainment.

Hotel was definitely convenient, directly across the street from harbor. The Gaylord hotel was i guess a block directly down from the hotel which was perfect because that was our destination. Very clean and modern, no complaints at all about that thank God. Would return for sure.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The hotel was very nice and clean. We loved the many dining options and shops around.

It was clean and the room was nice. The staff was all polite. But super bummed they didn’t have complimentary coffee in the morning :( kinda silly if you’re paying over $300 a night for the room I think you can afford to have complimentary coffee

We stayed here on New Year's Eve with family in the hope that we would see fireworks. We did not get to see one by the harbor (maybe because it rained earlier), but we were able to see fireworks from the DC area right from our hotel window. It was such a sight! I am glad that we opted for the riverside view because we can see the Christmas tree, the ferris wheel, and the fireworks. The room was big and super clean. The staff responded to our request for extra cups immediately. The price that we paid for comes with free breakfast. The croissant was amazing. We will definitely come back again. Also, on our way to the hotel from the parking garage, we tried going through the back door. It was locked, but the hotel staff who were coming back from their break asked if we were checking in. We said yes, so they let us come in with them and showed us the way to the reception lobby. We really appreciate the gesture!
