The property offered beautiful views of National Harbor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed a relaxing escape. The only downside was the parking situation. Valet service was available, but it was quite pricey. Thankfully, there was a nearby parking garage just a short walk away. Its daily rate was less than half the daily valet price.

This hotel has all you need inside: restaurant, gym and bar. It was within 3-5 minute walking distance to food, shopping and entertainment, very comfortable and very clean. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

The hotel is great! I think they can open the pool again and jacuzzi for the guests. We went to this hotel in 2017 and it was open. This time it was still closed. Everything else was fine!

The bed was very comfortable and I love the smell of the lobby however, there are no microwaves in the rooms and the refrigerator took 24 hours to cool. This could have created an issue for my mate who has dietary restrictions and has to travel with meals. The 1 microwave on each floor is tiny & in need of repair. This hotel has no pool.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to all restaurants.also 5 minutes drive to the MGM casino and the Tanger outlets. The only drawback is the valet parking $55 a night. I recommend the local parking lot up the street $24 a night.

Pros: Customer service was awesome, beds and pillows were super comfy, the hotel was right in the middle of everything. Cons: the room wasn't as clean as it could've been, the carpet in the hallway was slipping and old and needs to be replaced, there has been patchwork done in the room we stayed in that was poorly done, the towel we had for the floor has a huge rip in it. You can tell the attention to detail and care for the hotel itself isn't a priority. The phone didn't dial out and constantly had a weird beeping noise. We had to disconnect it so it would stop...

The hotel is clean and the rooms are clean and comfortable, but if you are sensitive to smells this is not the place for you. There is a strong air freshener smell through out the hotel that is the worse in the lobby when checking in.

Unfortunately, we were not happy with our stay and our frustration bled over to the next day. We checked in at 6 PM and by 7 PM. We noticed our bedding was dirty and had two stains. We called the front desk talk to them multiple times they offered for housekeeping to come and replace our bedding which we originally said yes to, but it took my husband to go downstairs to confirm that they were going to do that. At some point, they offered free breakfast. We thought that compensation wasn’t enough for us finding our sheets dirty given the fact that we could’ve purchased that same breakfast for $10 on Expedia, which is where we booked the hotel. The manager said that she gave us a call at some point, but while housekeeping was there, they accidentally took the room phone from the room with all the sheets that were dirty. Since the manager was out in the morning and wasn’t going to report to work till about 11 o’clock to 1 PM, I decided to call once I got home. Unfortunately, she said that there wasn’t any other compensation, other than the breakfast and that they couldn’t offer any refund because we decided to stay. The manager wasn’t apologetic for our situation and was condescending. If the situation would’ve been handled in a different way, I could see myself returning, but unfortunately, they lost a customer. I only have the ability for 1500 characters here so I would say more, but Expedia treated us more like a customer than the Westin.

It was a pleasant stay on the water. The room was a little musty, and the shower head did not function properly, but it was a nice stay despite that. The restaurant downstairs makes some good burgers too.

Location is amazing. Restaurant with a great view, food was good. Condition of the room was awful. Hair on the toilet seat and in the shower. Bathroom smelled dirty/moldy despite not seeing any. Pretty disappointing for a Westin.

The room was fine, but could use a better cleaning, the lamps on the night stand was dusty and the silver metal rack that held our towels on it was not cleaned well. The view was good just wish it was on a higher floor. The only discrepancy was that our window outside had a lot of spiders on it making the sight an eye soar. Also, some of the staff was not friendly. I'm to understand that if I book through a 3rd party there's no guarantee of me getting my request or preference met. The surrounding area was lovely.

The first room we received after check in was not properly cleaned, and when we requested another room, the concierge stated that the cleaning team had been marking rooms as clean all day with some not actually cleaned. So obviously, this is a repeat issue. And when we saw the cleaning crew in the hallway, after switching rooms, they were in the same spot chatting though a half hour had passed. Overall quiet hotel, but will not return since I cannot trust the cleanliness.

Well, the room seemed cleaned but the towels where full of animal hair as well as the toilet. I had to request new towels and the comforter was shredded/torn and really should have been replaced. The table was sticky , so I wiped it down with lysol wipes. Overall, I had to reclean the room to my liking.

Several issues that occurred within the first hour of our recent stay We had reserved and prepaid for a room with a king-size bed. However, upon check-in, we were given a room with two smaller beds, which was not what we booked. We returned to the front desk to request the correct room type, and were reassigned, which did have a king bed as requested. Unfortunately, upon settling into this new room, we noticed visible black mold in multiple areas — including above the bathroom door, on the closet, ceiling, and trim near the bed. This was concerning from both a cleanliness and health standpoint, and disappointing given the reputation of the Westin brand. As a result, we had to request yet another room change — making it the second room reassignment in less than an hour of arriving. Needless to say, this was not the start we had hoped for on a weekend getaway I set up for my husband

Beautiful view of the harbor out of our window. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet even though it is located close to the capital beltway. The only minor complaint is that the room was a chilly 64 degrees when we arrived and even though I boosted the thermostat up to 70 it took a long time to warm up. Other than that, a great stay.

Used to National Harbor as a conference location, so was surprised by how much fun it was for a family weekend. Had a great stay at the Westin - rooms were clean, staff was super responsive and nice, beds were comfortable. There was even a wedding and reception in the lobby/restaurant, and you'd never even know once you're in your room. And, can't beat the view!

Beautiful setting in National Harbor. Could not see out of the Harbor View windows as they were covered with dots. This should be mentioned on the description of the room. I was highly disappointed.

Our two day staycation over the 4th of July weekend was nice. The hotel is nice and very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. However the bed seems more like a queen size than the advertised king size. Overall it was a good stay.

The check-in service at The Westin in National Harbor was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff were not upfront or clear about the reservation policies, which caused unnecessary confusion right from the start. We were also offered seating at the hotel restaurant during check-in, only to be told later that they couldn’t accommodate us. The lack of communication and organization was frustrating and left a really poor first impression. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better service.

There was no sense of customer service! When I first checked in the guy just watched me dragging my bags. When I said ‘are you just going to watch me and not help’ to which his reply was ‘thats a nice way to ask’ - I was thinking that should be a basic for hotel especially a westin hotel!!! My room was not cleaned every day when I specifically asked for it to be - when calling the reception they would answer listen to the request and cut the phone - on my last day I asked the bell boy for help to get my luggage only to find 30 mins later that he still hadn’t bought my luggage down and said it was a ‘mis-communication’. Extremely disappointed and I wasn’t the only guest who was. It was almost like if the staff did something it was like we were asking for a favour and not that we’ve paid!! I’ve stayed at other Westins around the world and I must say this one put the brand to shame!!!

The hotel was dirty. The valet loss the keys to my car for 30 minutes until they realized someone had taken them home. Prior to 2020 I used to stay at that hotel once a year and it has changed for the worse since then.

Super average. Not luxury, wouldn't pay the price for this one. The age of hotel definitely shows, my sheets has holes and stains, and the housekeeping lady walked into my room at 9:30am. Great location. Specify the type of view you want.

I have stayed at this property a few times each time was wonderful. Staff was always helpful and friendly, but this time was different. The staff was rude and constantly on their phones. Whenyou walked in they did not even acknowledge you. I called from my room to ask for some things they said they would be right up, but I never received them. I had to go down to the front desk and get them only to be told we forgot.

Excellent location and room amenities. I attended the conference at the Gaylord, but chose to stay at Westin because of the view and a more intimate feel. My colleagues were at the other nearby hotel and I saw that my room at Westin was more spacious, more modern, and the bathroom/shower much bigger and stylish. It was only a short 5 min walk to my conference.

The valet staff was excellent, we were in and out a lot and they went above and beyond. The beds were heavenly. That's where our joy stopped. The open-space restaurant was closed for a party Saturday night and we spent the entire night in our room hearing a DJ scream into the mic to "pump it up" and booming music until 11pm. The boardwalk door was inaccessible because of the party and my handicapped mother couldn't make the walk out the front and down the steep incline to the boardwalk so she couldn't access that area. Room 227 had a barking dog that went on late into the night. The toilet in our room stopped working completely in the morning, as if the water was turned off. The front corner of the entrance is littered with cigarette butts and there were employees standing outside smoking numerous times. The Westin needs to do better at this property, this was not on brand for them.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Love the location and the staff. Our negatives is the restaurant. First visit we tried room service and it was a nightmare. Meal was 45 minutes later than promised when we called they told us they wre too busy and we should come down and take the food back to our room ourselves. Second attempt was worse. This trip we tried eating at the restaurant. My husband's omlet was burnt and my eggs were not under cooked. It was a waste of $60. We ended up not eating and getting muffins at starbucks.
