Parking space was a great plus. A nice old traditional pub with plenty tables outside. Bed comfortable enough for one night stay. Good, powerful shower. Delicious full english breakfast. Dining room was a little fusty and in need of a some TLC and the evening meal was a bit overpriced for what it was but still an overall charming stay in this gorgeous location.

Great to be able to park right next to the Inn. Early check in and able to leave car on last day so could go for another walk in the area. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely room, (room 2) overlooking the front. Quiet, comfortable bed, free toiletries and plenty of tea/coffee etc in room. Great evening meal and great choice for breakfast each morning. Sold ice creams too which was just the job after a long walk around the Langdales on what was a very hot day. Will definitely stay again and recommend.
