The room & bed was comfortable, spacious and great views over the river Wyre. Check in was straight forward and very quick with easy parking. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Service wasn’t great. No smiles and it looked like all the waiting staff were fed up. Despite taking our orders promptly, our breakfasts came but with no tea that they had simply just forgotten about. Despite serving us our food, they didn’t notice there wasn’t anything to drink. Yet when we looked around everyone else got their tea or coffee before the food- so shows they are not attentive and just robotically serving. The food was ok but just average. But all in all it was a comfortable stay and the pricing is competitve.

Positive - Good size rooms, comfortable beds, adequate parking. Not so good - Bathroom needed a deep clean, dust and mould collecting around shower tray. Towels have seen better days and could do with replacing. Breakfast was cooked to order which was nice however not all items advertised were available which let it down.

Firstly, nothing at all we didn't like. Our second stay here, as we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay of 3 nights. Lovely spacious room overlooking the River Wyre. Relaxing, amazing ambience with relaxing bar area. We ate in every night as the food is first class, excellent choices, cooked perfectly with fresh /local produce. Staff are so welcoming, friendly and made our stay perfect. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you.

Business stay for 1 night. Evening meal was great as was the huge breakfast. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely poor, which for a business trip is not good, room was not very clean and only handwash in the bathroom

The restaurant area was good , slightly shabby , staff friendly and very efficient The food was good. There were very steep steps to access the bedrooms, and as we both have mobility issues, this was not mentioned online. The safety firedoor was open to the outside for the most part of the day!!! The room was very small and the onsuite was way too small and seriously grubby, The bed was a small double and not comfy at at. While looking for the hairdryer later that evening, we open a top drawer to find used pants and socks...clearly not cleaned and sanitised. As we booked for two nights , we were so disappointed that we left earlier and we were given a refund of the night..hopefully we will receive it in a couple of days. This place shows on expedia as a 4* rating..was stuck to find any stars to be fair in accommodation, but the food was good.. Will not be returning.

Very pleasureable overnight stay. Only had lunch and breakfast as we were meeting family during stay, but next time will stay for an evening meal. Food we had had excellent. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

A nice riverside location. Small but clean room with a nice view of the river. While at dinner ordered the hamburger WITH NO ONIONS and the chicken burger. After ordering was told they didn't have that specific chicken burger but they could do something else. Fine. The chicken burger came ZERO seasoning or flavor, besides the overwhelming fish flavor from the fish batter. And the hamburger came, literally onions throughout the entire meat. Not super impressed with how that was handled.

I liked the location for us as we were meeting up with family. It was clean. comfortable and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. For the price it was excellent. However, I wouldn't say it was 'Deluxe' - the room was basic, the large armchair was a sofa bed so not particularly comfortable, it just didn't feel deluxe at all. It was standard and they should just advertise it as is. Dissapointed with that part but everything else was excellent.

Just a 2 night stay. Small room with a small bath room. Plenty drawers and hangers enough plug sockets but no usb outlets. Breakfast is ok no more. Restaurant food is very very good and not silly prices. Overall we loved our stay small room but short of nothing with good but small shower. We will stay again but the restaurant is worth a visit

The room & bed was comfortable, spacious and great views over the river Wyre. Check in was straight forward and very quick with easy parking. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Service wasn’t great. No smiles and it looked like all the waiting staff were fed up. Despite taking our orders promptly, our breakfasts came but with no tea that they had simply just forgotten about. Despite serving us our food, they didn’t notice there wasn’t anything to drink. Yet when we looked around everyone else got their tea or coffee before the food- so shows they are not attentive and just robotically serving. The food was ok but just average. But all in all it was a comfortable stay and the pricing is competitve.

The hotel is in an amazing position, which is quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful in fact couldn’t do enough for us, because of this we didn’t want to spoil the trip by saying the room which was sold as a deluxe double really wasn’t. Very basic actually. The view was of the car park with a view if you hung you head out of the window. It was in need of an update in most areas, cleaning was present daily towels changed, the confetti in the room was disappointing as we weren’t members of a wedding party- Having said this we still had a relaxing stay at the hotel with a big salute to all the amazing staff we encountered.

Firstly, nothing at all we didn't like. Our second stay here, as we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay of 3 nights. Lovely spacious room overlooking the River Wyre. Relaxing, amazing ambience with relaxing bar area. We ate in every night as the food is first class, excellent choices, cooked perfectly with fresh /local produce. Staff are so welcoming, friendly and made our stay perfect. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you.

A nice riverside location. Small but clean room with a nice view of the river. While at dinner ordered the hamburger WITH NO ONIONS and the chicken burger. After ordering was told they didn't have that specific chicken burger but they could do something else. Fine. The chicken burger came ZERO seasoning or flavor, besides the overwhelming fish flavor from the fish batter. And the hamburger came, literally onions throughout the entire meat. Not super impressed with how that was handled.

Positive - Good size rooms, comfortable beds, adequate parking. Not so good - Bathroom needed a deep clean, dust and mould collecting around shower tray. Towels have seen better days and could do with replacing. Breakfast was cooked to order which was nice however not all items advertised were available which let it down.

Just a 2 night stay. Small room with a small bath room. Plenty drawers and hangers enough plug sockets but no usb outlets. Breakfast is ok no more. Restaurant food is very very good and not silly prices. Overall we loved our stay small room but short of nothing with good but small shower. We will stay again but the restaurant is worth a visit

Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the boiler had a malfunction so there were cold showers in the morning, however it was clear to see the staff were very active in addressing this issue. Food was expensive (from my viewpoint), but good. Lovely breakfast, which was included in the room price. It looks over a river, which is full of birds to watch.
