A good welcome and shown to my room. Very good first impression. The room however was 'roasting' with no aircon, no fan, and no open windows. Decor was tasteful, but several signs of lacking maintenance - uneven patio with missing slabs, blocked sink, and poor paintwork. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of bedding. Kettle, with ample tea and coffee. There was a TV, but I didnt use it. Breakfast was again adequate and tasted fine. Service was lacking though, and staff seemed disinterested. Summing up, The Riverdale Hall Hotel was okay, but not great.

Picked this hotel as an overnight stop and was delighted with an impeccably clean, well-appointed room. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, breakfast options to suit all appetites setting guests up for the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a base from which to explore the area

What a wee gem! I loved my stay here with my dog. The village is stunning, theres a river walk that you can access from the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and my room was huge!
