So close to the centre of town, yet with the feeling of being away from things. The PunchBowl is just a few hundred meters up the road and well worth the short walk to see the views. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and functional accommodation, good beer selection and cellar maintenance, but had to leave early each morning so wasn't able to sample the breakfast :-(

Extremely dated, a bit smelly in parts and needs a total overhaul. Shower hardly had any power at all, the bed was clean, although the second pillows and other options didn’t have a pillow cover, ironing boards with material falling off, carpet that requires shoes to walk on and therefore although it’s cheap, it’s actually overpriced. Two of the staff were incredibly helpful, another was not at all, limited customer service skills. Incredibly difficult to recommend.

Dirty hotel that is living in a faded past. Staffed by people who are indifferent at best but mostly didn't think it was their role to support me as a guest. The public areas are very dirty and poorly maintained. The bedroom is little better and certainly far from clean and far from well maintained
