Although the hotel is very basic, the rooms were clean and tidy. The housekeeping came every day to refresh too. However, the facilities in the reception and dining/bar were very sparse and uninspiring. There seemed to be a lack of staff and the ones we did interact with, didn’t seem very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was, in my opinion, overpriced at £12 pp per night, so we ate breakfast in the pub across the road, which was a lot cheaper, especially as I only wanted a very light breakfast, whereas the two men in my party, wanted a full English breakfast. I think the Garner has missed a trick here, as if the food was more favourably priced, more visitors would take advantage of it, instead of going elsewhere. I understand, this is merely my personal view, but I very much doubt I will use this particular hotel in the future.

Hotel fit for purpose.Excellent serving hours not only behind the bar but reception and restaurant.Lift making easy access to all rooms and also pet friendly which isnt often seen.Booked here again later on in the year as travelling too is perfect just off the A46. Highly recommended

Nice big car park for easy parking. Good access to the roads around Lincoln. Room clean and tidy with a comfy bed and a large TV. The aircon was perfect for the warm weather. My go to hotel when stopping in Lincoln!
