Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed, quiet. The rooms are large & shower easy to access with seat built in. The only downside is that the bar area is a little unwelcoming and plain. No tv on, limited drinks on tap, no soft seating. I just grabbed a bottle and watched tv in my room.

The hotel is ideal for an overnight for those who need an overnight due to travel distance. no frills, just a comfy bed and a good shower. I was a bit disappointed the gym facility was closed. i was not made aware of this at booking

On the whole very convenient. The gym had no weights in despite weights being in the pictures online. Staff were good, and helpful. The cleaning staff did not get around to cleaning our room until we had been out for the day and were back to rest, as I guess the empty rooms were more of a priority for new guests. When I said it was too late they made an effort to do it earlier

All round good stay, very helpful and friendly staff. 1st night the heating wasnt working, they would of probably resolved it that night but i left it til the next morning and while i was out that day they resolved the problem, so cant fault that at all. Plenty next door in the service cente. And a bar at reception to get a beer, pretty good all round would come again

We had the family room. The main bed was comfortable but the two singles weren't. The bed sheets on one hand 3 stains on them. Room looked dated. Breakfast expensive considering it didn't have many options. No lift so if you have kids and prams etc you're having to carry them upstairs. There was one person on reception and he was in othered by other customer complains about broken bins, lack of duvets etc. fortunately I had credit and got the room for £50-something, but every other booking site was quoting £100+... It wasn't even worth the £50

Excellent value for money. Parking free and immediately in front of the Hotel. Staff friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Great shower. Dining options made clear. I slept well. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

The property is pretty tired looking in all areas of the rooms. Noticed the room was quite chilly so turned in the oil heater in the room. There was a hole in the tiles by the toilet handle and mould round the showers door. The next evening on returning to the room the room was very cold and the window open but the handle was broken so couldn’t close it. Reception changed rooms for us but this room was more tired than the first and much more mound round the shower door. Apart from that it was ok. It served its purpose for a busy weekend in the area

Lovely staff but bathroom and shower head had a lot of black mould. Dirty carpets throughout the hotel. The room are next to the HGV lot so you'll hear the engines all night. I also had to turn off the AC due to the rumbling fan. I'm glad I didn't have a long journey ahead the next morning. It did the job as a place to sleep at the very least, for the price, Services next door and proximity to the City centre made it a convenient place to stay.

Filthy disgusting room. Broken tiles on the floor, grubby walls with peeling paper. Mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, stain and sticky toilet seat. Dirt and ? on surfaces. Booked for family of 4, provided 2x towels! Pull out bed had been moved out from the wall revealing that it hadn’t been cleaned behind for a very very long time. Random man or employee walked into room while my partner and daughter were showering. Loud groups of men drinking and smoking outside room past midnight. Offered refund but still awful stay.

Everything was clean and tidy. The room was spacious and all facilities, even the wifi, worked very well. The only thing that let my experience down was the scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet, which didn't come across as being real egg. I'm not sure what they had been made with but they weren't particularly pleasant. Overall, though, it was a great place to stay.

Arrived late however check in was fine. The room was filthy dirty, stains everywhere and the toilet was still full from the previous occupier (the toilet didn’t flush). Pulled back the cover and there was horrible stains on the sheets so I resorted to just sleeping fully clothed ontop of the bed, couldn’t wait to leave tbh

Stayed three nights, booked room for two. Only one towel. asked for room to be made up and serviced. Not done. Cup not cleaned and no clean Towels put on beds. Room unclean, tissue laying around everywhere. Will be looking elsewhere to stay next time I am that way

We booked a room with aircon as knew it would be hot. The toilet did not flush in the room they gave us. They gavce us another room but no aircon. Tried to open the window but it was not possible as opened on to the foyer, not outside. They supplied a fan but was inadequate as just blew hot air around room. Didn't sleep well at all due to the heat

I liked that the service station it was on had lots of food places on the same site. The staff in the hotel were friendly and the room was a good size. However, the shower door had streaks all over it and there were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor. The worst thing was both of the single beds were very noisy and hard. We had the worst night sleep ever. My son tossed and turned all night because the bed was hard and he could feel the springs. I didn't sleep at all because the springs creaked and cracked all night when he turned over. I mentioned it to Jamie on reception when we checked in. I also mentioned it to the man in reception in the morning. Hotel needs money spent on it, which is a shame, as we've been to quite a few Ramada hotels and they are not like this usually. I wasted my money as we would have been better staying at home and having a good night's sleep and leave early in the morning to our appointment.

Stayed 2 nights. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed in the passage or rooms for at least 48 hours. Same thing in our room. Heating didn’t work. Guest next door repeatedly slammed his door at 1:30am for 10 minutes before I had to deal with it. I phoned reception who reluctantly and allegedly spoke to him. I heard no such interaction. In short, I would have cancelled my booking if I could have before I even reached my room by the state of the carpet alone. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online; full ratbag truck stop motel.

The hotel itself was fine, with the facilities you would expect. The shower was great. However, the mattresses 'boinged' and made a noise whenever we turned over or moved even slightly. We were so afraid of bouncing and 'boinging' that we didn't get a lot of sleep! I have stayed at the hotel previously and didn't have the same problem.

Staff were friendly, hotel was very quiet can not believe we were at a service station near a busy main road. The room was clean but there were a few water stains around a ventilation grill a touch up of paint would have taken care of. Plenty of tea and coffee even decaf, we were there just the one night but we would have been comfortable there for a week. Can not comment on the food as we had dinner out and we had to leave before breakfast was served. Will definately book there again.

The Reception staff. Jamie and Richard were excellent both on check-in and shortly afterwards answering several questions and taking actions as appropriate in response to them in a very prompt courteous and professional manner. Overall, they represented Ramada extremely well.

Rooms were not cleaned, beds not made during our stay. Told by receptionist this was normal. Not in any hotel I have stayed in , UK and worldwide and I was a tour manager ! Utter nonsense. Fire alarm at midnight, no one in 24 hour reception? Caused by guest smoking in non smoking room. Receptionist appeared at same time as fire brigade to inform guests it was a false alarm saying that it was more important to tell the guests in non smoking room to stub out their cigarettes first……. Very unimpressed guests in nightwear and coats - some hotels offer refund for disturbed night’s sleep. Not this one!

It was a shambles from the moment we walked in. The room had half the lightbulbs not working , only enough towels for one person and it felt dirty in the bathroom. An hour after arrival the fire alarm goes off. So I get up go to reception to be told it’s a test. It then went off a further 2 times to which I gave up trying to rest and got up to go to eat . I came back got back into bed then again at 3am the alarm went off and didn’t stop the whole hotel poured out into the foyer and the guy who was supposedly in charge was wandering around not seeming to know what to do. He told us to all go back to bed whilst he investigated however I wasn’t prepared to risk my life potentially on his assumption that it was a false alarm. Finally after about 20 min the alarm got silenced and we returned to the room. I felt very anxious the rest of the night as it wasn’t dealt with correctly and couldn’t wait to leave in the morning having had one of the worst hotel experiences ever

I was permitted to have access to my room earlier than expected which helped as i was a bit tired after the journey there. The staff always seemed very helpful, polite and accommodating more than most hotels i have stayed at.

The room condition should have been maintained better. Fortunately staff were being nice to me. We stayed there for two night. The room was not tidied up automately the following day. Staff replied that you needed to request for it. Strange to me, it did not happen when I travelled to other place else.

Easy to find, loads parking and food outlets as you'd expect at a service station. Actually very quiet in hotel considering how busy area was. Only thing would make it better would be net curtain at window as on ground floor..all other rooms had one just not ours. We didnt mention it, I'm sure it would have been sorted but were out all day so not a problem. Very pleasant stay over all... very reasonable cost and convenient for Cambridge.

Property is a bit old, and not very fancy. Shower small. But it met our needs and functional. Overall good for the price. Just to aware, there is a huge parking lot with lots of cars and trucks. So not very quite. Lots of dining options close by. Free parking onsite. Comfortable beds. 15 min drive to Cambridge center.

Booked a family room for two adults and two kids, the room was comfy enough but quite warm. Pillows were poor quality, and we asked for additional ones from reception. Booked a breakfast inclusive rate, but had to pay extra on check out for the kids' breakfasts. This hotel serves a purpose as a place to sleep, and it's surprisingly quiet considering it's on a service station area.

Great bargain! Reduced price, so gave it a go....most impressed with clean, spacious room, great shower. On-site restaurant served a brilliant evening meal, as well as buffet breakfast. Great stay, well recommended.

First off, the lady who checked us in was excellent. No criticism at all for the staff. They he hotel is poor. There was black mould in the dirty shower, no shower gel and the room was gritty. We had burgers for tea with 2 glasses of wine in dirty glasses (£50). The coleslaw was inedible, the wonderful person behind the desk got us new portions that were also inedible. The girl then came to take them away under instructions from the cook. (When was it made that the cook hadn’t done a taste test?) I spent the night being very poorly, I’ll spare the details. Manager in the morning was disinterested in us leaving, didn’t check up on us and ask how it was - we decided not to bother. Will not return, we recommend you avoid, would have been 1 star had the lady that served us not been so lovely.

Basic hotel, for the traveller. Not designed or in the right place for more than one night stay. Hotel based within the Cambridge Services area. I don't think I have stayed in a Ramada Hotel before, I thought it may be if better quality but it served my requirements for the night. Breakfast was very basic overdone bacon. Had to ask for everything. No bread out and when asking only had brown.Coffee machine broken. No cutlery on table. Breakfast not worth £11. I would have had a better deal getting a McDonald's from next door.

Check in staff lovely. Hotel fine. Pillows awful, no shower gel, one towel for 2 people. Breakfast looked dehydrated, cheese was stale, flies flying around the food, everything just looked a little bit depressed. Paid just under £100, really disappointed.
