A lovely house run by a lovely couple! We really enjoyed our stay here - the owners are very friendly and helpful, the food was really nice and the house is brilliant - a historic gem of a building with excellent facilities. Convenient for Bodnant Gardens, Rhos-on-Sea and Conwy.

For being an old property it is very well maintained and decorated, it was warm and cosy even on the cold night we were there, Susan and Stewart were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, check in was quick and easy. There was nothing we didn't like and we will definitely be back to explore the area more.

The grounds and property were impressive and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered a wide range of food and drink. The King-size bedroom as well presented and comfortable. located on the ground floor there are some outside sounds eg in corridors . however most of the time it is quiet and serene.

An absolute gem and I cannot recommend it highly enough. So many thoughtful touches and a beautiful property. My room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was freshly made and lots of choice. The owners really care about what they are doing and it shows. I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Easy to find, lots of free parking and so much to do in this lovely part of the world.

This is one of the most outstanding hotels that I've ever visited, and the only hotel I've stayed at three times over. Stunning building, unbelievably friendly family at the helm, absolutely everything catered for, delicious breakfasts, brill facilities and amazing surroundings. The best of the best!

One of the best stays we've had anywhere. We stayed here as we were crossing through Wales on the way to Ireland and wanted somewhere quiet & comfortable to get some sleep before continuing on the next morning. We were SO impressed. When we first arrived, Stewart greeted us (he stayed up late as well, as with our drive we arrived at 10pm, and he was very courteous despite this) and told us about the hotel and its facilities downstairs before showing us to our room. The room (Borneo Room) was beautiful & really comfortable, with a spacious & clean bathroom suite composed of both a double shower & a bathtub. The room itself is filled with photos of Stewart and Susan's stay in Borneo, as well as a booklet with their story, which we found really touching. Everything about this hotel just feels heartfelt and wholesome. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and the curtains were great with covering light in the morning, so we got a great sleep. In the morning, we were greeted by Stewart & Susan, who cook the breakfast entirely by themselves. It was actually one of the best breakfasts we've had- everything tasted so fresh; the scrambled eggs my wife had were spectacular, and she finished every bite. You are brought warm toast, a choice of juices and teas, as well as eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, etc, as well as having local yogurts that were excellent and Welsh cakes and cereals to choose from. We can't say enough about this hotel and will happily stay again in future.

Location was lovely and country house such a lovely well kept and interesting place. Accommodation was excellent as was breakfast and dinner. Owners very hospitable and helpful. Good all round experience. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

We checked in without a hitch but fast realised that the Covid rules were still in place with hand sanitizers everywhere. There were cobwebs galore at the side of the reception desk. Our room was Hemingway was on the top floor. The owner did take a suitcase up the 3 flights of stairs. We were directed to the guestbook of ‘house rules ‘ for further information about the hotel. The room was large and airy and had a super king bed, it was lovely. However when we to close the curtains both sides of one panel was torn on both sides therefore did not keep the light out. I asked the lady of the house to have a look and try to repair while we were out all day but on our return it had not been touched, very disappointed. I asked at breakfast did they have a problem with the curtain and so was told they had to order some rings? The bathroom was also large with a sunken bath although due to house rules we could not use after 9pm due to no hot water. If you are staying more than one night and you require your bed made and towels refreshed, you will incur extra charges. Basic room refresh for an additional charge and a change of towels incur another additional charge Full refresh, change of towels and bedding will be another additional charge. Read house rules for prices. The breakfast on both mornings was gorgeous although they do need a lesson how to poach eggs as they were hard, the scrambled was amazing. There was plenty of variety to choose from.

This is an 18th century farm house and has been furnished to exentuate it's age. It's beautifully presented, with an amazing gothic feel to the house. The hosts, Susan and Stewart work hard to ensure each guests needs are met. Can't fault it, would highly, highly recommend it

Our room was Borneo and was lovely. A lot of light coming into the room and the bathroom with separate shower cubicle was really nice. Shower was very good. The owners went above and beyond nothing was too much trouble and the cooked breakfast was the best I have ever had. Cooked to order and perfection. Thank you both for making our stay so relaxing.

This property is owned by a lovely couple, who do everything to make your stay memorable and wonderful. My wife and I were welcomed like old friends and our room was well presented. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Quito. The bathroom although small, had everything you could need, including an wonderful shower.

We were sadly only there for one night, but we really wanted to stay much longer! Our room was amazing, so spacious and beautiful, and the hosts were so sweet, generous and helpful! Would recommend a stay here to everyone.

This is a small friendly place. My room was spacious enough. The bathroom was quite small and only had a shower, though I new that in advance. The restaurant served a fairly simple menu. My main course had a nice sauce but the pork was over cooked.Breakfast was good. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, I'd stay again

You are brought warm toast, a choice of juices and teas, as well as eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, etc, as well as having local yogurts that were excellent and Welsh cakes and cereals to choose from. We can't say enough about this hotel and will happily stay again in future.
One of the best stays we've had anywhere. We stayed here as we were crossing through Wales on the way to Ireland and wanted somewhere quiet & comfortable to get some sleep before continuing on the next morning. We were SO impressed. When we first arrived, Stewart greeted us (he stayed up late as well, as with our drive we arrived at 10pm, and he was very courteous despite this) and told us about the hotel and its facilities downstairs before showing us to our room. The room (Borneo Room) was beautiful & really comfortable, with a spacious & clean bathroom suite composed of both a double shower & a bathtub. The room itself is filled with photos of Stewart and Susan's stay in Borneo, as well as a booklet with their story, which we found really touching. Everything about this hotel just feels heartfelt and wholesome. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and the curtains were great with covering light in the morning, so we got a great sleep. In the morning, we were greeted by Stewart & Susan, who cook the breakfast entirely by themselves. It was actually one of the best breakfasts we've had- everything tasted so fresh; the scrambled eggs my wife had were spectacular, and she finished every bite. For being an old property it is very well maintained and decorated, it was warm and cosy even on the cold night we were there, Susan and Stewart were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, check in was quick and easy. There was nothing we didn't like and we will definitely be back to explore the area more.

Had a great night at Ffarm Country House: Susan and Stewart are marvellous hosts and provide super food and a kind and welcoming presence. Lovely house and grounds: quiet and relaxing but with a village within easy walking distance. Good starting point for both the coast or the mountains. Fantastic bunch of roses by our bedside to help us celebrate our Ruby Anniversart...typically generous Susan! Thank you again for a memorable short stay.

This property is owned by a lovely couple, who do everything to make your stay memorable and wonderful. My wife and I were welcomed like old friends and our room was well presented. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Quito. The bathroom although small, had everything you could need, including an wonderful shower.

An absolute gem and I cannot recommend it highly enough. So many thoughtful touches and a beautiful property. My room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was freshly made and lots of choice. The owners really care about what they are doing and it shows. I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Easy to find, lots of free parking and so much to do in this lovely part of the world.

This is a small friendly place. My room was spacious enough. The bathroom was quite small and only had a shower, though I new that in advance. The restaurant served a fairly simple menu. My main course had a nice sauce but the pork was over cooked.Breakfast was good. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, I'd stay again
