Bon hôtel pour faire escale à Bergame pour une nuit, pas trop loin de l’autoroute (sans pour autant l’entendre), parking sur place, chambre assez grande et dans le style de l’établissement (un peu old school), salle de bain avec wc et baignoire douche, wifi ok, petit-déjeuner buffet varié, personnel très agréable et chien admis sans supplément

Good location, lots of free parking, good breakfast, lots of breakfast options. I had a shower over bath, and would of preferred a standard shower, but that wasn't a problem.

Hôtel familial bien situé avec un parking. Dans son jus , vintage et très bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner bon et varié. On peut se rendre en bus jusqu'à la Citta Altta. Et en redescendre à pied en 40 mns. Personnel gentil.

Here to see Arsenal play Atalanta and only staying one night so pretty much went for the cheapest I could find. really pleasantly surprised. Lovely hotel in decent location, within easy walking distance from main train station (and actually less than an hours walk from the airport, which I did to burn off breakfast on my return!). Very friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely free buffet breakfast!

Albergo molto bello. Magari un po' vecchiotto come stile (il bagno sembrava quello della nonna) ma estremamente piacevole, pulito e confortevole. Ampia possibilità di parcheggio e autobus comodi. Ottima colazione e personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Unico neo la rumorosità dell'impianto idraulico, ma magari era un problema solo della mia colonna! Ad ogni modo ci tornerei senza dubbio ed è certamente da consigliare.

The hotel and room was very clean and the breakfast was extremely varied to suit all tastes and nationalities. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and answered any questions we had. Well worth the money!

This hotel is very beautiful inside! The overstuffed sofas in the lobby area are so inviting and comfortable. The receptionist that welcomed us was a very distinguished gentleman who answered all our questions and was friendly. Our room was full of color and welcoming. The bathroom is very clean and spotless. In the morning I took pictures of our place throughout the inside. The shade in the bedroom didn’t work and thus made it difficult to open the window, but I was able to make it work. ( there is no A/C). The best part of our overnight stay was the free breakfast. Everything was delicious and perfect in every way (the hotels in the USA could learn something). Hot dishes were hot. Delicious coffee!! Everything was fresh and tasty. The variety of foods was astounding!! Bless the two ladies that kept the food coming and the eating area clean.

Das Hotel wurde wohl 1972 eröffnet , dem Alter entspricht auch die komplette Einrichtung. Trotzdem sauber und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter! Lage ist sehr laut, Hauptverkehrsstrasse und Nähe zum Flughafen. Positiv: Sehr hundefreundlich, Frühstück war soweit gut und vor'm Hotel ein paar Parkplätze, nettes Personal und für ein Hotel faire Getränkepreise. Negativ: sehr alt, abgewohnt und der Geruch im Zimmer (scheinbar vom Reinigungsmittel). Für eine Zwischenübernachtung reicht es aus.

The hotel is located close to the train station, which is great. The staff were great and friendly. But the room was stinking of a cigarette smoke although smoking was prohibited. The shower in the room was broken. Hot water was coming through bath tap only, the shower head had low pressure for cold water and no hot water at all. The issue has been reported to the reception, hopefully it was fixed. The room number was 666, just in case.

Rather fond of Città Dei Mille. It looks as if it was the latest thing back in the 1970s, but I probably thought the same about myself then. Everything runs smoothly and pleasantly, from the friendly reception staff to the abundant buffet breakfast. The single room was "compact"; the bathroom was at least twice the size of those in a North Sea ferry cabin, but it included a real bath (which I was pleased to use). And it's a fifteen-minute walk to find a trattoria or to catch the No 1 bus to the airport. I've used it a few times and I've always been happy with it.

Got a small single room (which i expected). The room itself was clean and i slept well in the bed, which was comfortable. Breakfast was nice, with good variety. Front desk staff helpful (good english) and my room was ready at 12, rather than 3pm as advertised. Issues were: - the shower was an over the bath shower. Not usually an issue, but there was nowhere to hang the shower head and there was no shower curtain. This meant you had to hold the shower head at all times and god help you if you have long hair and want to wash it. The bathroom also ended up soaking due to no shower curtain/screen. Unforgivable for a hotel these days. Especially when a wall fitting/curtain would cost about a fiver each. - No air conditioning (there was a box that looked like it controlled the air con on the wall, but it was broken). It was relatively warm in the small room. Would be uncomfortable in the summer. - There was a ceiling fan, but it only ran at full speed or not at all. I left it off to avoid a final destination type death in the night (it was violently fast and didnt seem particularly well attached to the roof). Fix the above issues and id be happy to stay again.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Città Dei Mille in Bergamo and was thoroughly impressed with our experience. We liked that the hotel is ideally located in the heart of Bergamo, close to shops, restaurants and top attractions like the citta Alta. The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us with directions, taxi and allowing us to check in early from our flight. Our double room was quirky but provided plenty of room for the two of us and our luggage. The king bed was actually quite comfortable and the room had free WiFi and a flat screen TV. We enjoyed the radiant heating as it kept us nice in toasty during our late march stay. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent and a must for us during long layovers like this trip. It had a great selection of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, yogurt but only a small hot dish option of beans and franks. I wish there were at least scrambled eggs. The coffee was also really good. Overall, we highly recommend the Hotel Città Dei Mille to anyone visiting Bergamo. The location, amenities, and service make for an exceptional experience. FYI our taxi to the airport ran us about $17. The listing stated a shuttle service to/from the airport but this was not offered during your stay. Perhaps it was only seasonal?

Nice 3* hotel. All the staff were friendly, especially the night manager. We chatted with him every night ans he always made sure there were cold beers in the fridge for when we areived back at yhe hotel. Nice selection of food available at breakfast. Great location. Short journey on the bus from the airport. Probably a 30 minute walk to thw old town and 40 minute walk to Gweiss Stadium. Would definitely stay again.

Todo excelente, las instalaciones muy limpias y agradables, me hicieron resguardo de equipaje sin problemas , lo único que no me gustó fue que la señora de la recepción amablemente me invitó a tomar la habitación mientras completaban el proceso de Check-In, le dije muchas gracias que esperaría por mi pasaporte a lo que me responde “no nos comemos los pasaportes”, totalmente fuera de lugar su comentario ya que todos quienes viajamos sabemos que nunca debemos separarnos de nuestros documentos

Hôtel familial bien situé avec un parking. Dans son jus , vintage et très bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner bon et varié. On peut se rendre en bus jusqu'à la Citta Altta. Et en redescendre à pied en 40 mns. Personnel gentil.

O hotel é um pouco longe de restaurantes, supermercados e nao ha serviço de quarto.As moças da limpeza sao cordiais e limpam de maneira excelente o quarto.O banheiro é antiquado com sistema de ducha numa banheira e o secador de cabelos deixa a desejar.O café da manha é excelente.A recepção é prestativa e simpática com exceção de uma adolescente que não tinha gentileza alguma.Tem estacionamento gratuito o que ajuda muito quem vem de carro ou aluga .

We left 2 nights early, as it felt unsafe as we went to dinner the first night and got little sleep with sirens, yelling, music, airport noise. The staff and breakfast were very good. We were happy Expedia refunded our 2 nights, but would have forfeited it to move. We had a quiet and lovely stay in Alta Citta for those 2 nights instead.

Das Hotel ist ca. 10 Autominuten vom Flughafen entfernt und ca. 10 Fussminuten zur Stadt oder zum Bahnhof. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, haben allerdings ihren eigenen Flair mit den alten Badezimmern. (Dusche = Badewanne) Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die Rezeption ist 24/7 besetzt. :)

Here to see Arsenal play Atalanta and only staying one night so pretty much went for the cheapest I could find. really pleasantly surprised. Lovely hotel in decent location, within easy walking distance from main train station (and actually less than an hours walk from the airport, which I did to burn off breakfast on my return!). Very friendly and welcoming staff and a lovely free buffet breakfast!

This hotel is very beautiful inside! The overstuffed sofas in the lobby area are so inviting and comfortable. The receptionist that welcomed us was a very distinguished gentleman who answered all our questions and was friendly. Our room was full of color and welcoming. The bathroom is very clean and spotless. In the morning I took pictures of our place throughout the inside. The shade in the bedroom didn’t work and thus made it difficult to open the window, but I was able to make it work. ( there is no A/C). The best part of our overnight stay was the free breakfast. Everything was delicious and perfect in every way (the hotels in the USA could learn something). Hot dishes were hot. Delicious coffee!! Everything was fresh and tasty. The variety of foods was astounding!! Bless the two ladies that kept the food coming and the eating area clean.

The receptionist at night was pretty rude. Due to me not willing to leave my passport and come back after some time to pick it up, so he can check me in. I understand it is a normal practice, but due to my personal circumstances I can never leave my passport unattended. He didn’t consider my wish, so I had to persuade him to make it now. Secondly, after I dropped my bags at midnight I went for a walk with my friend. I have notified him that i will be back. When I came back at 2 am, we rang the door and he opened the door. He was stating that our behavior is unnaceptable due to coming that late. His vibe felt pretty passive agressive. I believe he was asleep and I woke him up in a bad mood. Even though check in time is until 2:30 am. I apologized but looked like he wasn’t willing to accept it. Which was quite frustrating. Apart from this situation everything else was great and worth the money.
