The property was what we needed for our trip but the staff was slow to come to the check in desk .I waited at least 10 minutes for anyone to show up. The elevator was broken and the other elevator wouldn't keep the doors open to get out. There were not any towels at the pool but the staff were courteous and helpful, and the place was clean

Most of the treadmills don't work. the dumbbells have all been stolen except the 35 and 40 lbs which doesn't work for me. Pool was padlocked closed. Guys were drinking and smoking right at the entrance of hotel when we pulled up.

They have complete amenities. Real breakfast food was served. Eggs were cooked differently everyday and I liked that. They have a large dining area. The hotel was big and wide. They had a conference room, a bar, a pool table and foosball. They had vending machines in different areas. The aisle was wide and each door was well lit. They had fitness room too. Staff were friendly and nice. They had a room also with treats for children. The location was close to different restaurants, Walmart and also beside a gasoline station. They had several Tesla charging stations. The hotel was well thought of.

This was for my daughter’s 14th birthday party. Before booking, I called the hotel and made sure that when I book the double suite room that the pool would be open and it would be OK to have a little birthday party with my daughter’s friends there. They reassured me everything would be fine and yes. After arrival and checking in, we get told the pool is closed due to drain problems. That they had known weeks prior that it would be, but we got no notifications or anything. Even though I personally called in to reassure the pool and amenities would be good. After being five hours away from home, I was stuck with a group of teenage girls and nothing to do and it wasn’t budgeted for anything else. That’s why we got their top-notch biggest room and made a plans to do the pool party. I was told that I would get a phone call by the manager. I receive nothing. I’ve called six times and I still haven’t been able to talk to anybody but the front desk I’ve got names and numbers but still nobody has reached back out or even talk to me.. it’s now been since August 22 and still nothing.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Shower head and water spouts are disgusting. Desperately in need of upgrades. Hair still in tub. Facility in general was a mess. Lobby waiting area had trash on the floor. Throughout the facility there was trash and lack of general cleaning. I arrived 1 hour after normal check in and no room was ready for me. They said they had been sold out for 3 days and were behind which I get but they should have prepared better for a big weekend. I didn’t have time to wait but had no choice.

My stay was 2 nights. First night carpet in room was wet. Room was changed next day. Second room also has too much moisture in room. Paperwork was curled up and unpacked clothes were damp. Noticed multiple areas of water damage to ceiling in lobby. Cleaning chemical odor in rooms too strong.

Staff was great. Room was not good. Smelled of tears of funk. Febrezze didn't touch the odor. Bathroom floor was disgustingly sticky. I'm hoping I didn't pick something up from the filth

This property was literally the worst. As soon as we walked in there were dirty towels on the floor because the ceiling was leaking. Went to the room and sat on the couch and fell in because there were no springs left. The tub had not been cleaned nor the shower head. So when I went to complain instead of them being accommodating the lady at the front desk was confrontational and rude

The linens were very worn and definitely need to be replaced; bath mat edges were ragged and unraveled! The bedspread edges was unraveling! The upholstered chair in the room needs to be replaced; it was dirty and stained! When I brought the bath mat situation to the attention of the front desk person she started “We’re going to be remolding in October, but didn’t offer to replace the one in our room!,

Check in was easy and quick, and the front desk staff were friendly. We enjoyed that there was a snack area open in the lobby to purchase food and drinks. Unfortunately, the pool was exceptionally green and cloudy, with foamy water and pieces of dirt floating on top. When we woke up in the morning, we discovered a large pile of ants in the floor near our fridge. There was a hardened sticky spot near our dresser that appeared to be attracting them. While looking at the ant situation, I realized there were many hairs on the floor that appeared to be dog hair, as well as the area around the mini fridge being exceptionally dirty.

This is an older hotel, but the room was very clean and attractive. It was in a convenient location and had a number of restaurants and a Walmart nearby. Our view was I-465. Also, there was constant traffic noise. The mattress was not comfortable for me. It had a depression in the middle and memory foam which makes for hot sleeping. The pillows were flat and lumpy. There was a comfortable armchair on one side of the room, but there wasn't enough space to move it somewhere to sit in it to watch TV. There was also a desk and desk chair. The desk chair looked ancient, with cracked and peeling leather, but it was actually pretty comfortable to sit in. Breakfast was pretty good though it was very crowded the first morning due to the eclipse crowd. The breakfast staff couldn't keep up with the crowd, letting the coffee and eggs run out without refilling for quite a while. The second morning, breakfast was good. The elevator was very slow.

Great value for such a spacious suite. The location was very convenient for us, and the hotel seems to be clean and well maintained. Our only complaint was that the toilets are a little weird…rarely did they flush on the first try. I think they might be the kind designed to conserve water. I don’t think it was a plumbing issue. Would stay here again though!

Hotel as a whole has seen better days and could use a major renevation. TV doesnt work. Shower was hot but very little water pressure. Motion lights in room would randomly turn on in the night that was slighlty annoying, toilet would randomly flush throughout the night aswell. Staff members were nice. Breakfast was good.

Beds were very comfortable. Very convenient to have 2 bathrooms when traveling with family. Living room sofa was uncomfortable and needed to be replaced. Small TV’s. Rooms needed to be updated, but the cost was very reasonable.

Staff lady who booked us in forgot she booked us in. Then an hour later as im sleeping in bed the same staff member walks in my room with two people expecting to stay in room. I was in bed sound asleep. This was horrible. She said she made a mistake and tried to book me in another room. I said no. Capet was so dirty that bottom of your feet would turn black. This was the worst place I ever stayed at. Dont stay here. Its not a good place and staff can just walk in anytime to your room with others which was very unsettling. Not safe and filthy carpets.

The ladies at the front desk could not have been more efficient or any friendlier when I arrived to check in. I actually left my receipt and the key to my room at the front desk when I went to move my car, and when I called to see if it was there at the front desk, one of the ladies actually brought my key all the way down to long hallways to give it to me. She went above and beyond expectations.

I would definitely not feel safe staying here again. There was some confusion about the dates of the stay. They thought we were leaving on the fourth and we intended to leave on the fifth. That was my fault, but it was a very minor mix up. We were out on the fourth and the front desk called and began threating us because all of our stuff was in the room. Note: this was a Sunday, so they had plenty of rooms. I just said, “sorry there was some confusion, just book me for another night, I can give you my credit card over the phone.” The manager woman was absolutely unhinged. She accused us of fraud and playing games and was screaming. What sort of a game would a person play with all their stuff still in the room? You can judge a person’s character by how they behave when things go off script. This woman was not just rude, she was cruel. I do not know what is wrong with her, but I would not feel safe there. We paid for the day and quickly packed and left. Until this person is replaced with someone more stable and hospitable, avoid this hotel. There is a different one across the street to the south and one to the east. If someone from La Quinta reads this, I would suggest that your manager is not just unsuited to the hospitality industry, but potentially dangerous to the guests and employees.

They were very slow at the front desk and there was a security deposit of $150 and when checking out they would not print a receipt ( it would be emailed) and said the security deposit will take 7-10 days to go back to into the account. I have not received an emailed receipt.

My husband and I stayed at La Quinta Indy South for Indiana Comic Con. I read great reviews, and now I’m glad to be giving one! 👏👍 The staff was very courteous and helpful. Things were a little chaotic because there was a conference happening at the hotel at the same Time, but there was no inconvenience for us. There were plenty of options for food nearby, and even better, there was a Huntington Bank down the street so we could get cash for the convention without paying ATM fees. My one grievance with the hotel was the elevator; there was only one, and it was very slow and outdated. Repairs and maybe installing a second one would probably go a long way, especially for a busy weekend like this one. If we’re ever back in Indy, we’ll certainly keep La Quinta Indy South in mind. Thanks so much!

I had to call front desk multiple times to get assistance. Television was not working. Only language on tv was Spanish and I could not understand what they were saying. Front desk wanted to send assistance the next day even though I would be checking out the next day. Also there was a bug in my bed crawling around. I asked front desk for contact info for manager and after emailing, I gave not heard back yet. I also called and was told the manager leaves at 3pm. Unacceptable. I will never stay at a branch of the holiday inn, again.

Housekeeping was the issue. First 2 days they did fine. Somehow the third day they never bothered to clean the room even though the do not disturb sign had not been on at all. The next day they again did not clean the room so I spoke with the manager. After that the room was 'refreshed' but no hand towels or soap was left in the room.

Some of the front desk receptionists were extremely helpful, but others were just horrible. On our second day, we expected the room to be cleaned, but it wasn't. The cleaning person had been there because all of our towels had been taken. The beds were not made, the towels were not replaced, and the room had NOT been cleaned. When I called the front desk for towels, he sounded annoyed. We had to go downstairs and retrieve the towels. Overall, I was extremely unhappy with this hotel, I would definitely NOT recommend.

We've stayed here before when traveling to Indiana for family functions. It's well located by Interstate and close to family homes. It has a nice breakfast. Rooms are clean, a good shower. A nice pool. The staff are pleasant and friendly.

Usually a great stay, a little iffy this time. Check in was great, very personable employee, very comfortable bed. Quiet stay. Nice bar off the lobby. But.. there was alot of hair in the tub. Lots of breakfast items, but the quality of some of the food (sausage, biscuits, bagels, oranges) was terrible. Stick w the reg waffles.

Parking was fine. Bed was comfortable. Food was not good, no milk on Sunday. Bacon was barely cooked. No eggs at all. Elevator is terribly slow. Front office person didn't even greet us when we arrived. Rooms need painting and bathroom floor was stained. Shower never got hot. Expect a lot more from La Quinta
