Ich war mehrere Nächte in diesem Hotel und sehr zufrieden. Sauberes Zimmer, sehr ruhig zu einer Art Innenhof hin, ein ansprechendes (wenn auch täglich gleiches) Frühstücksbüffet, freundliches Personal. Hoteleigener Parkplatz oder Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße. Geht man gut fünf Minuten zu Fuß, ist man an der Hauptstraße mit ein paar Geschäften und gastronom. Stellen sowie mit dem Bus zum Flughafen bzw. ins Zentrum von Heraklion. Der Pool war noch gesperrt, schließlich ist's im März recht kühl.

We only spent one night here and arrived in the evening. The hotel is very nice and had a small restaurant where we had dinner. The pool was lovely and clean and we were able to find parking for our rental car. I would have booked this hotel again on our return to Heraklion, but it was full and we couldn't get a reservation. It's convenient to the port and the airport.

Hotel staff was very nice! Super easy and quick check in for a one night stay between flights and other stays. Pretty clean except for the shower. One of the dirtiest showers I have ever used. Hair was all over stuck in the shower door along with dark scum all over the tiles. Really gross and I was super disappointed in that. Other than that I thought the hotel was clean in other areas, but could use an upgrade. Also the bed was made with no fitted sheet and just two top sheets which I also find kind of gross because it wasn’t made with the second top sheet. Good for one nights if you need something quick but would not want to stay longer.

Hotel Sofia very convenient to Heraklion airport. Could walk to some reataurants. Pool area was nice. The room was quiet considering how close to airport. But our room wasn't properly made up when we arrived. Only one set of towels and one sheet. Bathroom trash hadn't been emptied.

Stayed here for 1 night as it was close to the airport. Rooms weren’t clean and it had a smell to it. Bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets were paper thin. Super old hotel - wouldn’t stay here again but managed because it was only 1 night.

Sofia Hotel was conveniently located for a walk to the archaeological museum and an early morning departure at the airport. Hotel is nice and on a quiet street with convenient parking. Only problem wa that the bedding was uncomfortable and made sleep difficult.

Nice stay close to the HER airport. Took the public bus to the hotel from the airport (2 EU person). The room was basic and clean, a great place to stay after a long flight and before renting a car to travel around the island. Very good buffet breakfast with a variety of items including breads, cakes, cookies, pasties, eggs, yogurt, cold cuts, etc.

We arrived after a late flight from the UK. Our flight landed on time at 22:00, and it took us until 22:45 (we had hold baggage) until we were clear of the airport. We took a taxi from the airport (15€). We chose to spend one night near the airport and were able to walk to the Europcar pickup point the next morning. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel was much better than I had anticipated. The rooms were clean and modern. There is a fridge which had bottled water in it. We had a small balcony. The bar is open until 01:00 and bar snacks are available until 23:00. There is complimentary raki in the foyer. Wine is available by the jug or bottle and reasonably priced. The bartender was expecting us to take the bottle and glasses back to our room, but we sat outdoors and relaxed. Aircon in the room was effective. We didn’t use the pool but the area looks clean and well maintained. We got breakfast at a local bakery which was a couple of minute’s walk away.

Very close to the airport only a few minutes in a taxi. Only 7 mins walk to the airport car rental gold car. As we had a late flight and it closed at 10pm we walked to pick up the car the next day. Room was modern and had everything needed including 2 bottles of water. Breakfast was continental but in view of price paid represented good value for money.

I sent an request to the hotel, they replayed it's not possible. I asked for a simple 230 Volt plug to charge our eMobile. We arrived and exactly close to our parkingplace was a 230 V plug. I asked the receptionist for useing it. And it was allowed for us. Worked fine. At the evening I was waiting in the bar 15 Minutes with view to tge reception. The employee saw and ignored me. After 20 minutes i went to the reception and asked for sevice in the bar. He told me the bar is closed and he will not sell me something. I could get only water to take it to my room. Next morning we checked out. Before we left I asked tge Director:"Do you like to learn something?" He answered "yes". I told me after listened my stories that he did not know this and he will change it by better training his employee. Hope dies at least...!

Great location near the airport. Paid for the hotel to order taxi service from the airport. Was easy and no issues dropping off at the hotel. Be careful as there are two Sofia hotels within a few blocks from each other. Drivers have gotten confused

Nous avions réservé une chambre simple avec petit déjeuner, assez correct pour le prix. Ne vous attendez pas à un hôtel de villégiature, à un hôtel de transition , très proche de l'aéroport, donc très pratique on vient d'arriver tardivement comme nous. Quartier pas génial, assez délabré mais à une demi-heure de marche du centre d'héraklion. Quelques restaurant s de pâtisserie boulangerie supérette autour très sympa, qui dépanne très bien. Etat de l hotel correct ,mais pas de quoi s émerveiller.
