The hotel and grounds are very well kept and the decor is wonderfully done. The pools are clean and were empty when we stayed so enjoyable to relax in. Parking was easy. The breakfast was fabulous and fresh. On a down side, we booked the restaurant for our evening meal and although the service was tip top the menu was disappointing as it didn't really cater for people who don't like beef or fish but apart from that it was ok

This is our 4 stay at the MEC it has been newly remodeled with amazing inside/outside dinning and bar plus new swimming pool, deck and outdoor hottub! Need to upgrade to the suites as you get larger room and great views! Support staff from front desk to dinning/bar and cleaning are amazing!

Beautiful hotel, very clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. Hotel room was spacious despite there being 4 of us in one room. Our only gripe was that there were functions on each day which meant the main pool was closed to guests between certain times. The infinity pool was however always open but it wasn’t practical for swimming in. Still had a great time and it was great to watch the many weddings that took place. Would stay there again as the hotel was stunning.

But should be reported spectacular hotel service was top notch we had an issue with the room that came up at 1:00 in the morning to take care of it every time you can go to hotel you can have problems with rooms they came right away we didn't have to wait till the following day beautiful beautiful grounds the block from the beach the hook the hotel had a spectacular pool it was overall a great experience breakfast every morning was wonderful I would definitely recommend coming and staying here some of the nicest hotels

Elegant hotel but busy with weddings and parties. Pool was closed for a couple of hours in the afternoon, during the hottest time of the day. Not really convenient for the beach, even with a shuttle. The archeological site of Paestum is wonderful, not to be missed, and great for an evening view and stroll with the lights on. About 1.5 miles from the hotel.

Insgesamt eigentlich ein schönes Hotel aber sehr viel Raum, Fläche und Ausstattung lediglich für die Optik ohne jeglichen Nutzen. Das Design ersetzt die Zweckmäßigkeit. Positiv: Freies Parken, schönes großes Zimmer, schön möbliert, sehr gutes Bett, angenehm großes Bad, schöner Balkon mit Meerblick, Shuttle zum 1km entfernten Hotelstrand mit Liegen und Schirm kostenlos. Negativ: Für 5 Sterne war die Ausstattung im (hellhörigen) Zimmer und Bad sehr dürftig, nur ein (unbequemer) Stuhl, keine (kostenlose)Wasserflasche, kein Kaffeeautomat, kein Schuhlöffel, kein Bodylotion, keine Tissuetücher, Plastikzahnbecher, wiederholte Einwahl ins WLAN erforderlich. Bella struttura nel complesso. Camere grandi. Bella la sala colazione e ristorante, curata e con vista su piscina. Il bagno con qualche difetto necessita di maggiore cura : acqua dallo scarico a pavimento che si allaga, niente accappatoio ( siamo in un 5 stelle ), doccetta senza supporto a muro. Però rimane un ottimo hotel.

The hotel was beautifully designed inside and out. The reception staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was very well furnished and maintained, and also very quiet. Our only issue with the hotel would be the limited number of sun beds around the pool when there is space for many more. We only managed to sit around the pool 1 day out of 6, although there were ample alternatives away from the pool. Overall a great hotel.

Struttura bella ma trascurata senza manutenzione, camera con bagno sporco e perdite d'acqua. Piscina senza manutenzione e attenzione. , tutto un po' in decadimento. Ristorante qualità buona sia a colazione che pranzo. Personale discreto. Nel complesso non ci tornerei e non lo consiglierei. Wi-Fi inesistente... nessun cocktail di benvenuto all'arrivo anzi freddezza totale .... no proprio non ci siamo 5 stelle assolutamente mal riposte

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat auch zu 80% das falsche Personal. 5 Sterne hat das Hotel schon lange nicht mehr ausser den Preisen. Im Restaurant zahlt man fast das Doppelte als in Paestum selbst und die Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig. Zum Frühstück sind wir ein paar Tage gegangen und dann haben wir eine kleine Büffelfarm entdeckt dort bekommt man für 4,5€ ein gutes Frühstück. Wenn man den Hotelstrand nutzen möchte, der nur ca. 200m vom Hotel weg ist, muss man 25€ pro Tag zahlen. Wenn man den Kostenlosen Strand nutzen möchte, muss man mit dem Hotel-Shuttlebus fahren.bei dem Strand hat es dann aber keine Infrastruktur außer man möchte sich von Bier, Wasser oder Spritz ernähren. Das Hotel selbst fällt langsam auseinander überall bröckelt die Farbe ab. Und bei uns auf dem Gang ist ein Arbeiter seit 5 Tagen dabei den Teppich auszubessern. Ab 8:50 morgens, also ausschlafen ist nicht. Zu dem kommt es noch, dass das Hotel sehr beliebt bei Familien ist und die Wände zu den anderen Zimmern wohl nur Sichtschutz ist. Auf der einen Seite war eine Familie wo das Kind immer am Abend wohl nicht ins Bett wollte und die ganze Zeit geschrien hat, bis der Vater noch lauter wurde. Auf der anderen Seite im Zimmer hatten wir ein Baby das pünktlich um 7 Uhr wohl die Milch wollte und geweint hat bis sie endlich was bekommen hat. Und wenn man Duschen möchte, muss man ein paar Schritte unter der Dusche laufen, daher kommt wohl Wash&Go. Im Minutentakt wurde das Wasser heiss/kalt

Very nice upscale hotel near Paestum. It’s purposely funky and fun. The beginning of April was too chilly to enjoy the pools, but we took fun pictures with the decorations (e.g., giraffe holding a chandelier) around the pools. The room tub was a jacuzzi tub, which we enjoyed. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which was nice to see the sunset. Breakfast was large and delicious with fresh fruit, pastries, omelette bar, and cappuccinos.

Dass man am Frühstücksbuffett einen zweiten Kaffee bezahlen muss, hab ich noch nie erlebt. Kein Wasser oder Kaffee im Zimmer. Nachts sehr laut.

The hotel was very beautiful and especially the view from the dining area was amazing. Room was clean and spacious but a bit too hot even though we asked several times to turn it cooler. The staff was friendly but sometimes they had difficulties to communicate in English. Hotel had an own beach and a shuttle-bus service there. The area around the hotel was uninvating as we could not get lunch from anywhere.

The hotel was beautifully designed inside and out. The reception staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was very well furnished and maintained, and also very quiet. Our only issue with the hotel would be the limited number of sun beds around the pool when there is space for many more. We only managed to sit around the pool 1 day out of 6, although there were ample alternatives away from the pool. Overall a great hotel.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und hat auch zu 80% das falsche Personal. 5 Sterne hat das Hotel schon lange nicht mehr ausser den Preisen. Im Restaurant zahlt man fast das Doppelte als in Paestum selbst und die Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig. Zum Frühstück sind wir ein paar Tage gegangen und dann haben wir eine kleine Büffelfarm entdeckt dort bekommt man für 4,5€ ein gutes Frühstück. Wenn man den Hotelstrand nutzen möchte, der nur ca. 200m vom Hotel weg ist, muss man 25€ pro Tag zahlen. Wenn man den Kostenlosen Strand nutzen möchte, muss man mit dem Hotel-Shuttlebus fahren.bei dem Strand hat es dann aber keine Infrastruktur außer man möchte sich von Bier, Wasser oder Spritz ernähren. Das Hotel selbst fällt langsam auseinander überall bröckelt die Farbe ab. Und bei uns auf dem Gang ist ein Arbeiter seit 5 Tagen dabei den Teppich auszubessern. Ab 8:50 morgens, also ausschlafen ist nicht. Zu dem kommt es noch, dass das Hotel sehr beliebt bei Familien ist und die Wände zu den anderen Zimmern wohl nur Sichtschutz ist. Auf der einen Seite war eine Familie wo das Kind immer am Abend wohl nicht ins Bett wollte und die ganze Zeit geschrien hat, bis der Vater noch lauter wurde. Auf der anderen Seite im Zimmer hatten wir ein Baby das pünktlich um 7 Uhr wohl die Milch wollte und geweint hat bis sie endlich was bekommen hat. Und wenn man Duschen möchte, muss man ein paar Schritte unter der Dusche laufen, daher kommt wohl Wash&Go. Im Minutentakt wurde das Wasser heiss/kalt

This is our 4 stay at the MEC it has been newly remodeled with amazing inside/outside dinning and bar plus new swimming pool, deck and outdoor hottub! Need to upgrade to the suites as you get larger room and great views! Support staff from front desk to dinning/bar and cleaning are amazing!

Certes, bel établissement, proche des magnifiques temples et de la mer. Beaux aménagements extérieurs. Un accueil souriant mais très formel : la jeune femme s'est empressée de nous rappeler les 35€ pour notre chien (oui, 35€). Pour ce prix, il ne peut être avec nous au petit déjeuner alors que beaucoup d'hôtels proposent au moins une table éloignée du buffet. Veilleur de nuit très poli et sympathique (le seul).Chambres propres, spacieuses et confortables, balcons agréables. Surprenant pour un hôtel de cette catégorie : pas de serviettes d'invités pour s'essuyer les mains, pas de mouchoirs ni de bouteille d'eau à disposition dans les chambres encore moins une gamelle d'eau pour le chien (celle du hall était sale et vide). Petit déjeuner varié et bon, personnel froid et distant (sauf le monsieur du bar). Un check-out poli mais effarant pour un cinq étoiles: la facture, merci et pas une demande sur notre séjour ! Pourtant, mon épouse est bilingue... Si nous avons l'opportunité de revenir une nouvelle fois dans cette ville que nous affectionnons, nous saurons que la convivialité n'est pas leur fort. La marge de progression est importante : la retenue attendue dans un 5 étoiles n'est pas incompatible avec un minimum de chaleur humaine nous semble t'il, d'autres établissements en sont capables. Beautiful hotel, very clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. Hotel room was spacious despite there being 4 of us in one room. Our only gripe was that there were functions on each day which meant the main pool was closed to guests between certain times. The infinity pool was however always open but it wasn’t practical for swimming in. Still had a great time and it was great to watch the many weddings that took place. Would stay there again as the hotel was stunning.

But should be reported spectacular hotel service was top notch we had an issue with the room that came up at 1:00 in the morning to take care of it every time you can go to hotel you can have problems with rooms they came right away we didn't have to wait till the following day beautiful beautiful grounds the block from the beach the hook the hotel had a spectacular pool it was overall a great experience breakfast every morning was wonderful I would definitely recommend coming and staying here some of the nicest hotels

The area is wonderful. As for being a 5-star hotel. The rating is less than I would expect from a 5-star. The bathrooms were less than adequate. When the three of us arrived, we carried our own bags into the hotel and to our rooms. The pool costs to use, and the towels are an additional cost. The bar and the bar staff were amazing.

Very nice upscale hotel near Paestum. It’s purposely funky and fun. The beginning of April was too chilly to enjoy the pools, but we took fun pictures with the decorations (e.g., giraffe holding a chandelier) around the pools. The room tub was a jacuzzi tub, which we enjoyed. It’s a very short walk to the beach, which was nice to see the sunset. Breakfast was large and delicious with fresh fruit, pastries, omelette bar, and cappuccinos.

Nice location and easy parking. The beach shuttle is convenient and worth the trip to the hotels private beach area as the family who runs the beach club is so lovely and the man is hilarious. Breakfast was really good with unlimited capo and attentive staff. The only downside is the area was a bit smelly perhaps due to it being a swamp 100’s of years ago. The only thing it was missing was a gym which we would have liked.

But should be reported spectacular hotel service was top notch we had an issue with the room that came up at 1:00 in the morning to take care of it every time you can go to hotel you can have problems with rooms they came right away we didn't have to wait till the following day beautiful beautiful grounds the block from the beach the hook the hotel had a spectacular pool it was overall a great experience breakfast every morning was wonderful I would definitely recommend coming and staying here some of the nicest hotels

The archeological site of Paestum is wonderful, not to be missed, and great for an evening view and stroll with the lights on. About 1.5 miles from the hotel.

The hotel and grounds are very well kept and the decor is wonderfully done. The pools are clean and were empty when we stayed so enjoyable to relax in. Parking was easy. The breakfast was fabulous and fresh. On a down side, we booked the restaurant for our evening meal and although the service was tip top the menu was disappointing as it didn't really cater for people who don't like beef or fish but apart from that it was ok

Insgesamt eigentlich ein schönes Hotel aber sehr viel Raum, Fläche und Ausstattung lediglich für die Optik ohne jeglichen Nutzen. Das Design ersetzt die Zweckmäßigkeit. Positiv: Freies Parken, schönes großes Zimmer, schön möbliert, sehr gutes Bett, angenehm großes Bad, schöner Balkon mit Meerblick, Shuttle zum 1km entfernten Hotelstrand mit Liegen und Schirm kostenlos. Negativ: Für 5 Sterne war die Ausstattung im (hellhörigen) Zimmer und Bad sehr dürftig, nur ein (unbequemer) Stuhl, keine (kostenlose)Wasserflasche, kein Kaffeeautomat, kein Schuhlöffel, kein Bodylotion, keine Tissuetücher, Plastikzahnbecher, wiederholte Einwahl ins WLAN erforderlich. Staff was wonderful! This little beach town was so fascinating! The hotel was waling distance to the beach. The balcony was great with a view of the ocean. The shower and tub were great, but if you are older or have a handicap, it would be very difficult to get in and out of. Breakfast was delicious. Both pools were open and the smaller one upstairs was very warm! Drinks were great!
