The property was great, comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast was good and made to order. The views of the island are amazing from this location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only downside is that since I visited in the winter, the amenities such as the spa, rooftop bar, and spa were closed for renovations. Therefore, I didn't get to experience those.

Amazing property with three different pools! Room and view from room was amazing. Service was great and they were able to bring our suitcases to and from the room on check-in and check out. The area was quiet and relaxing, and walkable to nearby cities. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

La vue est splendide, le style est un très bon mélange entre l’architecture de l’île et le moderne, et l’emplacement est idéal (pour accéder rapidement à Oia, à l’aéroport, à Fira ou même au sud de l’île à 30min maxi en voiture). Hors saison (fin octobre) par contre le service est réduit : restaurant et bar fermés, et la moitié de la carte du petit-déjeuner (d’ailleurs assez moyen en qualité) n’est pas disponible. La piscine privée de la suite n’est pas chauffée. La chambre et ses équipements sont un peu vieillissants. Au final, le tarif est malgré tout assez élevé pour du hors saison avec les services réduits.

Stayed in July for a wedding. PROS - Location was great, views were beautiful, property was clean. Staff was mostly pleasant and very helpful. Christiana at the front desk welcomed us with a glass of wine at our check-in. Reception could be contacted by WhatsApp and they were very responsive. And the air conditioning worked well - no small thing in a very hot week! The wedding itself was lovely, the food at the reception was great and the setup was very nice. CONS - For the cost of the stay there were some frustrating fails — key cards repeatedly demagnetizing, in-room safe not working, no outlet in the bathroom compatible with the hairdryer. The breakfast was not a buffet as I’d seen in some other reviews — to be honest, that would probably be easier/more efficient on the guests as the service was slow and somewhat scattered. (Coffee was good!) The rooms were supplied with free bottled water but this was limited to two half-liters per room per day…really should have been more—it was hot out!! Otherwise bottled water was really expensive (like 5-6 €, I think). With regard to weddings, receptions/dinners take place on one of the pool decks. This means that for the afternoon leading up to the wedding and the evening/night of the wedding that pool is off-limits to hotel guests. If you are staying for several days when there are weddings each day, it means you won’t have access to all the property’s facilities. (Just something to be aware of.)

We stayed 2 nights at this property in June 2023. Beautiful property, great rooms, amazing views. The only negatives were that the hotel has a lot of weddings. One of our 2 days we stayed here they closed off the main pool, and lounge area to prepare for and have wedding. The hai was a bummer as the main pool area if amazing! The other negative was the restaurant was being remodeled so there was no dining option on property. If you are looking at this property and want access everything ask if there is a wedding during your stay

The view from the hotel was amazing. Stunning sunsets. The staff was excellent. Very clean and quiet. Would like to have had small wash clothes, maybe just an American thing. My only complaint would be that the dining and bar facilities were not open yet for our stay on May 1 to May 4, 2025. Neither were the pool and spas. This was not disclosed to us before securing our reservation.

Wonderful staff, selection of pools, amazing view of the caldera, good breakfast, room equipped with everything you needed. On a quiet part of the coastal path between Fira and Oía so a steep walk to the nearest town of Imerovigli for restaurants. We found it hard to get buses from the hotel as they only go in one direction to Oía and often they were already full when they got to the bus stop near the hotel. For all other destinations we had to get a taxi to the Fira bus station first so something to be aware of is that you might have to spend lots of money on taxis if you stay here.

I stayed during off peak. While some amenities were not available due to renovations during off peak hours (on site restaurant/fitness room), the staff made every effort to accommodate individual needs. Room service was available and was timely and delicious. Local restaurants were available for order-in. Shuttles were available for excursions. The Spa staff were accommodating to time and professional. It was easily one of my most treasured vacations. Highly recommend the Rocabella resort.

We stayed 7 nights. Greeting to the hotel manager. Your staff was amazing. Very friendly Front Office Team, Houskeeping was amazing and the service in the restaurant was fantastic. Breakfast was a la card and couldnt be better.

The hotel is located on a hill and is far from the main tourist areas so will need transportation to get there. The room was amazing with beautiful views from the balcony in the bathroom overlooking sunrise and breathtaking views from the front balcony overlooking the sunset. On arrival Giorgos came to the car and assisted with taking our luggage up the little hill to the reception. He explained that reception is only open till 6 pm but offered communication through WhatsApp which was great. Upon check in,we saw that our plunge pool was very dirty. We asked it to be cleaned and were advised that it was recently cleaned and stuff get to it due to wind. We settled in and were going to use the pool and then noticed tiny little fish swimming in it. Told the reception and they cleaned it while we were out. They left a complimentary bottle of wine for us as an apology which was really appreciated. Later we noticed our cards were not working to open the door. Communicated this via WhatsApp and they sent someone right away to open our door. They provided their number for us to call upon coming back late at night so they could open our door with the master key as they could not reset the key. We came back around 1 am and called the individual and he informed us that he had left a key for us in the front patio. Breakfast is done via preorder. We chose what we wanted and sent it to reception via WhatsApp and was delivered on the dot and amazing. Giorgos was amazing. Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel! Very clean and modern. Staff was incredible from beginning to end. This hotel is a must. It’s right in between Fira and Oia. Perfect location, peaceful and beautiful. Shout out to Maggie at the hotel bar who gave us wonderful recommendations and Nic at the front desk who was so kind and helpful. They take pride in keeping their hotel top notch. Make sure to book a catamaran tour!!

Had a gorgeous stay here. I loved the breakfast every morning in the restaurant which had the most amazing views. The hotel itself was generally very quiet and so peaceful. I picked this location as I knew the views were just stunning so there wasn’t much around but that was fine for me. The nearest supermarket was about 15 minute walk but I love walking so not a problem! The room was spotless and cleaned everyday and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. This was my second time in Santorini and if I returned again I would deffo be back to this hotel! Thankyou ❤️

The property is beautiful but the terracotta/ orange sand that blew in from the desert was all over the floor in our room. Our luggage being wheeled in, also carried the orange sand into our room, so our socks and feet turned orange. When I went to use a very white towel, there was a dark “something” folded into it. I thought it was a bug. Thankfully when my husband checked, it turned out to be granola that wasn’t cleaned in their wash.

Ich habe 5 wundervolle Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Lage mit Blick auf die Caldera war atemberaubend, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang. Mein Zimmer war stilvoll, sauber und hatte einen privaten Balkon mit Jacuzzi – einfach perfekt (abgängig von der Zeit, da ich vor paar Tage da war und in auch November keine ideale Zeit fürs Wasser)! Ich habe 5 wundervolle Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Lage mit Blick auf die Caldera war atemberaubend, besonders bei Sonnenuntergang. Mein Zimmer war stilvoll, sauber und hatte einen privaten Balkon mit Jacuzzi – einfach perfekt (abgängig von der Zeit, da ich vor paar Tage da war und in auch November keine ideale Zeit fürs Wasser)! Der Service war hervorragend, das Frühstück köstlich und der Poolbereich ideal zum Entspannen. Absolut empfehlenswert, ich komme gerne wieder!

The hotel is located on a hill and is far from the main tourist areas so will need transportation to get there. The room was amazing with beautiful views from the balcony in the bathroom overlooking sunrise and breathtaking views from the front balcony overlooking the sunset. On arrival Giorgos came to the car and assisted with taking our luggage up the little hill to the reception. He explained that reception is only open till 6 pm but offered communication through WhatsApp which was great. Upon check in,we saw that our plunge pool was very dirty. We asked it to be cleaned and were advised that it was recently cleaned and stuff get to it due to wind. We settled in and were going to use the pool and then noticed tiny little fish swimming in it. Told the reception and they cleaned it while we were out. They left a complimentary bottle of wine for us as an apology which was really appreciated. Later we noticed our cards were not working to open the door. Communicated this via WhatsApp and they sent someone right away to open our door. They provided their number for us to call upon coming back late at night so they could open our door with the master key as they could not reset the key. We came back around 1 am and called the individual and he informed us that he had left a key for us in the front patio. Breakfast is done via preorder. We chose what we wanted and sent it to reception via WhatsApp and was delivered on the dot and amazing. Giorgos was amazing. Highly recommend.

Rocabella Santorini has a wow location and that is what we loved. The view is insane on the caldera and very well located between Oia and Fira. It has parking too! We had a lovely check-in and were surprised with an upgrade to a massive 2 bedroom suite with a cave bathroom. As much as it was appreciated 3 big downsides to the suite: 1. It had a humidity issue so there were two dehumidifier 2. We barely had hot water in the showers days 2 and 3 3. For the price of such properties very few rooms, including ours had private balcony or terrace and we had a little pool but it was not private either so never used it. The other public pools were beautiful!! Breakfast was nice but the bread both mornings was stale in the bread basket, a shame again for that level of hotel. Lastly in 3 nights there were two weddings that took over a big part of the public areas, you therefore feel a bit like you are intruding if you want to walk around the hotel. Overall very nice but we preferred the Rocabella Mykonos hotel for the overall experience, rooms and food.

The views from this hotel are spectacular of the Aegean Sea. During our stay it was windy and so we heard a lot of rumbling with the Wind on the property, rooms are not soundproof. We were there during off-season the plunge pools are not heated. Our room accommodations were stunning, we enjoyed the master bath with the cave shower. Breakfast each morning was delicious and quickly prepared. The closest restaurant was a 30 minute walk for dinner, taxis were readily available when requested. You may want to reach out to the taxi company yourself we were quoted a price of $80 for transport to the airport, when we called ourselves we were charged $35. The downside is only one water bottle was provided per day everything else was extra. The kitchen was not open because of off-season so we were not able to get any additional meals outside of the delicious breakfast daily.

We were greeted by a warm, helpful, welcoming staff which continued our entire time at Rocabella. The decor in all areas was very tasteful and in some cases mimicked the regional architecture (whitewashed buildings) with a theme of rocks and other natural surfaces (ie. wood). The bed was extremely comfortable and the room, albeit a bit small, was just what we needed. We would have preferred more privacy. The blackout curtains allowed us to get a good night’s sleep. The pools were on the small side, but there were enough of them to easily service the guests. A suggestion is for the cozy lounge chair covers to be cleaned and repaired (some have rips in them). The view from our balcony, glass doors, and from many areas of the hotel was spectacular and the sunsets overlooking the Caldera were stunning. Rocabella is conveniently located directly on the path from Fira to Oia. Be prepared to walk or drive a short distance to get to most restaurants, cafes and markets. We enjoyed our stay!

It’s slow season so many things are closed, including the restaurant and other amenities. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. Mike works at the reception was very friendly and attentive. Any minor issues were corrected immediately. The whole island was very empty which is great to explore. We were lucky to have 2 dry days during this rainy season. It was nice to wake up to the gorgeous caldera view.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Rocabella Santorini. Our room was very clean, well-equipped, and beautiful. We especially loved spending evenings in our private plunge pool with the most stunning view of the caldera sunset (without having to brave the crazy crowds in Oia). The staff provided exceptional service; they were incredibly warm and helpful, providing many recommendations and making reservations for us. We especially enjoyed spending hours talking to Nick at the front desk, sharing his experiences of Greece with us.

We had an amazing stay. When we arrived I was a bit disappointed in the view from our room. The manager, wanted our experience to be special, and changed our room and it was breathtaking. Staff wonderful, food fabulous. Rate this place 10/10…

Hotel com linda vista, excelente café da manhã e ótima estrutura ! O atendimento que é muito ruim ! No check in a recepcionista parecia está fazendo um favor a nos receber e quando chegamos foi como se não dizem questão da nossa hospedagem ! No dia a dia do hotel tudo que você pedia do bar ou na cozinha ficavam desesperados para você assinar a comanda e se possível já pagar , parece que o hotel tomou algum calote de algum hóspede e se preocupa muito na cobrança para evitar que isso ocorra o que me deixou muitas vezes incomodado ! Solicitei um late check out e foi concedido porém com um custo extra de meia diária e para isso novamente exigiram o pagamento de imediato tive que ir na Recepcao acertar mesmo que em breve iria acertar tudo ! Resumo ótimo hotel com atendimento inconveniente ! Mas recomendo !!!

I stayed during off peak. While some amenities were not available due to renovations during off peak hours (on site restaurant/fitness room), the staff made every effort to accommodate individual needs. Room service was available and was timely and delicious. Local restaurants were available for order-in. Shuttles were available for excursions. The Spa staff were accommodating to time and professional. It was easily one of my most treasured vacations. Highly recommend the Rocabella resort.

We loved this hotel, very clean, modern; excellent hospitality personnel and it has a beautiful view without the crowds of Fira and Oia. I would recommend renting car, they have a parking lot in the hotel, yes you can go walking to Imerovigli, some 15 minutes but if you rent a car. But is not so close walking to Fira or Oia (although is next to the trail, I would recommend you only walking to Imerovigli… the views are in the hotel)

Shout out to Maggie at the hotel bar who gave us wonderful recommendations and Nic at the front desk who was so kind and helpful. They take pride in keeping their hotel top notch. Wonderful staff, selection of pools, amazing view of the caldera, good breakfast, room equipped with everything you needed. On a quiet part of the coastal path between Fira and Oía so a steep walk to the nearest town of Imerovigli for restaurants. We found it hard to get buses from the hotel as they only go in one direction to Oía and often they were already full when they got to the bus stop near the hotel. For all other destinations we had to get a taxi to the Fira bus station first so something to be aware of is that you might have to spend lots of money on taxis if you stay here.

Fantastic property , breakfast was absolutely insane … you could choose anything off the menu and not just one thing !! Dinner in the restaurant for my birthday , amazing table and food was incredible ! Was upset we didn’t get a room upgrade but as it was still high season there wasn’t availability but our suite with plunge pool was in a great location with great views ! It is a little out of town but only 25 min walk along the cliff where there are bars , shops and restaurants (if you are female wear flat shoes - I wore wedges the 1st night … was ok but the walk was a lot slower as uneven ). I will definitely come back

La vue est splendide, le style est un très bon mélange entre l’architecture de l’île et le moderne, et l’emplacement est idéal (pour accéder rapidement à Oia, à l’aéroport, à Fira ou même au sud de l’île à 30min maxi en voiture). Hors saison (fin octobre) par contre le service est réduit : restaurant et bar fermés, et la moitié de la carte du petit-déjeuner (d’ailleurs assez moyen en qualité) n’est pas disponible. La piscine privée de la suite n’est pas chauffée. La chambre et ses équipements sont un peu vieillissants. Au final, le tarif est malgré tout assez élevé pour du hors saison avec les services réduits.

The view from the hotel was amazing. Stunning sunsets. The staff was excellent. Very clean and quiet. Would like to have had small wash clothes, maybe just an American thing. My only complaint would be that the dining and bar facilities were not open yet for our stay on May 1 to May 4, 2025. Neither were the pool and spas. This was not disclosed to us before securing our reservation.

I stayed during off peak. While some amenities were not available due to renovations during off peak hours (on site restaurant/fitness room), the staff made every effort to accommodate individual needs. Room service was available and was timely and delicious. Local restaurants were available for order-in. Shuttles were available for excursions. The Spa staff were accommodating to time and professional. It was easily one of my most treasured vacations. Highly recommend the Rocabella resort.

Rocabella was awesome. From the staff to the breakfast, to the room and stunning views, we would definitely stay here again. Nick at the front desk and Vassilika in the restaurant were standout staff members who provided excellent service. We appreciated the special touches for our honeymoon stay.
