The apartment was clean and had an amazing view. At night I would leave the windows uncovered and watch the city lights. Brisbane has a surprisingly colourful display of lights. The parking could be improved though. The system they used was inefficient. It was actually a little frustrating. If you don’t need to park, I would definitely recommend this place.

It was very modern near the water and bridge to Southbank. 2 pools were great and hot tub. Used BBQ outside near pool. All very clean. Tennis courts nice.

Above average property I dont beleive the carpet or the bathroom were clean enough There was mosquitoes in the room. The whole apartment didnt smell fresh. There's some sort of water tank in the bathroom cabpboard, this was noisey and pumping all night. They have only 2 elevators whichs very frustrating when you consider the amount of units they cover

Fantastic location and wonderful views but we were shocked and disgusted in the first room we were given which had a filthy stained couch and carpets. Next room was better but still old, tired, a bit grubby uncomfortable furniture. It could have been so much better with some new furnishings. Beds comfortable and the rest of the place clean. Very noisy even on the 24th floor. Fantastic gym, pool and entertainment area. Easy parking.

The apartment smelt of stale cigarette smoke & the air con sounded like a jumbo jet taking off. No soundproofing. You can hear everything outside, even people talking. No quilt, just a brown blanket between two thin sheets & stained pillow cases. Told reception in the morning & they just said they would send someone to have a look. No apology. Will not be returning.

Aircon units of neighbouring building were noisy and disturbing. A live cockroach was in the kitchen sink when I arrived in the apartment. Food was caked on the chopping knife. Apart from the above unfortunates, the apartment was pleasant and staff were great.

Room was dated and didn’t offer anything overly exceptional. 2 cockroaches were spotted in the apartment during our stay. The reception was much nicer / more modern than the apartment itself, leading to disappointment upon entering. It’s clearly an old residential apartment that is being rented out as a “hotel apartment”. This being said, the gym and pool on level 6 were a nice touch and location was great :)

Disappointing for 4.5 star hotel. Parking is tight but manageable, staff at reception were lovely, however it was the cleanliness of the room which was a cause for concern. When we entered the room, there was a poo left in the toilet, mould on the ceiling, food crumbs left on the plates, dirty foot marks on the walls, a plastic cover still on the fire alarm (more of a safety issue), dust in kitchen cabinets and very low lit lights in the entire room. In addition, the security deposit took more than 5 days to return back, I’m still waiting and it’s been a week. For a 4.5 star hotel and the price, there is a high expectation and it was not met.

We were surprised to exit the lift and have to walk through the carpark to get to our studio apartment located in the carpark. Doors banged all night in the stairwell connecting about 6 of the studio units. Room smelt mouldy/damp. Very disappointing.

Reasonably good stay. A few concerns. The shower is in bath style. It's quite difficult to get out with the show glass screen & the distance you have to step down from the bath to the floor. This could be dangerous for any person if they're not concentrating.

I wouldn't stay there again, the check-in process took too long, and one of the lifts was not working, causing lengthy delays just to get to your room. The carpets need replacing; they are stained and stretched.

I guess it all depends on the luck of the draw. Last time I stayed in a one bedroom apartment, the layout wasn’t so great and the bathroom small and pokey. This time around I stayed in a one bedroom apartment and the layout was excellent. Two way bathroom gave much more space. Water pressure was dismal but everything else okay.

We had no idea what to expect and were very appreciative of the cheerful and helpful reception, the availability of parking and the large studio we stayed in. All the staff I met were extremely pleasant and helpful. Someone has done a very good good training everyone from the cleaners upward. What could have been a difficult task of checking in and out (due to renovations) was made considerable easier by front desk staff.

On arrival one receptionist was on the phone the other lady turning her back on us was talking to another lady then talk to us but still answering and talking to other lady- on the phone the receptionist was saying there is choice to go on the top higher floor/ so when I asked the lady to be moved on higher floor she said we were on 12 th floor anyway Couldn’t sleep 💤 overnight so noisy you could hear every car on the road That lady at the reception was rude - not welcoming at all If it wasn’t not refundable we would left

The best about Evolution Apartments - LOCATION! It is in walking distance from multiple attractions. The accommodation with a view to the river was outstanding! Not a big fan of carpeted halls and room - but it's not a deal breaker since the location is difficult to look past.

Was a good clean room and the view was very nice, however it didn't really have much in the kitchen to be able to use it. We had to buy EVERYTHING (salt, pepper, oil, etc). Stocking the most basic cooking items would be nice. While we did have two small milks in the ice box, there was no tea or coffee.
