Why won’t they clean the black algae from the pool? The have been told so many times in reviews that I wish I had read before I went there. They just don’t care. It’s growing up the walls and all over the steps.

Everything was extremely clean, the pool and the hot tub were attended to daily and clear and clean. The staff was phenomenal, extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good and I couldn’t complain. It seemed very safe. I didn’t hear any noises in the hallways or outside. I didn’t feel unsafe, and the doors were locked at night, he had to use your key to get in the side doors, which was very nice and safe. They worked with me. I almost made a change and canceled some of our nights and Misty. The manager was extremely phenomenal. The housekeeping staff was also really helpful and kind and understood for the most part what I was saying, which is huge. The surrounding area had so much to do within 10 minutes distance. The malls were phenomenal and I would go here again and stay and recommend any and everyone as the prices were really really decent and worth it. ❤️🙏

The facilities need an upgrade and the walking area around the pool need a renovation, top in same areas are lifted, tiles around the poll are pulling out. Over all the people are very professional, the breakfast is fantastic.

Absolutely enjoyed my 4 day stay here. Rooms were very clean (no bugs) and my bed was so comfy. I didn't spend much time in the room because I was out and about but when I was, I really liked that there was a good selection of shows to choose from. The location was great, close to the interstate, as well as close to shopping, restaurants and downtown huntsville. The staff was some of the most friendliest and nicest people I have ever encountered at a hotel. The on site chinese restaurant was decently priced and they had $5 beers. The hotel did offer airport shuttle service but I did not use because I had a rental car. Breakfast was outstanding. Many items to choose from. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. This was one of the best experiences I have had staying at a hotel and I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years. Next time I come back into town, I will for sure be booking this one again. Also, as a solo female traveler, I felt safe at this hotel and in the general city area.

The pool was falling apart. In the water. Rocks!!!! Super weird nobody is fixing that. Hot tub smelled funny. I was embarrassed bringing my family!

Unfortunately, during my visit there was construction work going on in the entire hallway and the workers left a lot of dirt in the hallway. Instructions for better tidying up would be appropriate. In my room the suction in the bathroom was very loud. In addition, the outside windows were very dirty, which wasn't a pretty sight. Otherwise nice hotel with very friendly staff. Very good location.

Staff (Erin & Walter) was very accommodating. I had car issues and was stranded in Huntsville, they had a shuttle on site that took me anywhere with reason and extended my stay to accommodate the service of my vehicle.

I love everything and everyone at this hotel. Kudos to desk staff Vin and late nite staff! Wish they could expand shuttle hours but kniw it's difficult with staffing. Too bad no hard alcohol served in bar, but restaurant is beautiful and good! I wished I was able to stay extra day to enjoy the super clean pool area! I will always stay at this hotel passing through Huntsville! Extra days will be planned for sure. P.S Love the coffee machine at front desk. Yes, this is a raving review!

Our room smelled like mildew and mold. We asked for another room and were told all the rooms were like this due to construction. Workers were friendly, hotel over all needs to shut down and reopen after construction is completed.

Bathroom was dirty and cramped. Mattress on bed was way too soft and lumpy. Didn't care for plank floor, we were on the lower level and the room above did a lot of walking on those hard floors, noisy. Breakfast was good, facility was clean.

Lobby was nice and renovated. Hotel halls were messy and difficult to navigate. Room was okay, but the bed sunk in the middle was so uncomfortable. Bathroom shower and curtain liner had hairs left in them, was so gross. We checked out and went to a different hotel. The manager was nice about it and he did refund my money. Would not stay there again.

The Best Western in Huntsville is disgusting. When we got to our room it smelled like mold or water damage. We talked to the front desk and they gave us a new room. That room wasn't much better. It also smelled like mold. You wouldn't think it from looking at the lobby. But I would go anywhere else.

The lobby is under construction. Check in and breakfast staff were fantastic. But the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the carbon dioxide alarm was beeping. Front desk told us to just take the battery out. The room did not look dirty, but didn’t feel clean. Definitely didn’t smell clean. Bed was comfortable. It would have been fine without the smell. Wouldn’t stay here again, unfortunately.

I was originally placed in the very back of the property. The room smelled, the TV didn't work and the Internet was non-existent. The manager did move me towards the front of the hotel where I could tell the facility was in process of being upgraded. The room was 1000% better (no smell), TV worked, Internet available and the room was CLEAN. I made effort to speak with the manager, expressing my appreciation for being moved to a much cleaner portion of the hotel.

Wasn’t a fan. Surprised it had 8 of 10 rating. AC made horrible noise, bright lights outside bathed the room with light during the night. I found it difficult to rest, room wasn’t clean. The photographer did an amazing job, looked better in pics. Shower was dirty and damaged

We were given a motel-like outside room instead of inside the hotel. There was old and new construction materials all over the sidewalks that we had to walk around to get to our room. The room was clean but low quality. My husband and I talked about finding another hotel to stay at as we felt this one was a bit sketchy. The public areas like the lobby, and gym were nice though.

Pros: friendly woman at check in. There’s a sushi restaurant attached to the hotel that we ate at. Good breakfast. Cons: the room is old and shows major signs of wear. There was a large crack in the ceiling. The bathroom is so tiny that you barely have enough space to move around. Overall, I think the room should’ve been priced about $40 less than they are.

I called the hotel to let them know my flight was delayed, Nicole told me no problem, just call when I needed to be picked up! I called at 10:15, and the two people on the phone said it was too late! So I had to scramble to get an Uber at 10:15 to the hotel!! Not a happy camper 😡

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean and the free breakfast was delicious. Bacon, eggs, waffles, gravy biscuits, and more! The pool and hot tub were great! I left my speaker at the pool area and it was picked up by another guest. The manager, Chris, came in on his day off to review the security cameras and contact the other guest to get it back for me. I really appreciated the wonderful customer service!

When we viewed the hotel and room online the pictures showed that the rooms were interior. When we arrived, we found our room was an exterior room (which we never get) and was in the back of the building. There are interior rooms at the front of the building, but she said none were available. Then we walked into the room and it reeked of pet urine. We requested another room. The second room smelled moderately better, but the ballast in the dressing room was broken so there was no light, and the bathroom was questionable. There were also 2 long metal pieces sticking out of the side of the bed. Not sure what those were. Rather than requesting yet another room, we decided to stay elsewhere. When I spoke to the girl at the front desk about a refund, at least for the last 2 nights (this was supposed to be a 3 night stay) she said I'd have to talk to the manager. He doesn't even work on the premesis, but works from home! I called and left him voicemails which have never been returned. I also asked for a receipt, since they made me pay upon arrival, before ever seeing the room, and she said she'd have to email it. I have never received one. I felt like I was misled on the condition of the building and rooms and would not recommend this place.

Very close to the Interstate for easy access - very close to the Airport. Nice little property - an interesting observation. The buffet breakfast was above average for this type of hotel - except in showing how Hunstville is really no longer a "Southern only city," there was NO GRITS for breakfast!! How can this be in Alabama?? :)

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and it has always been a good experience. There is a lot of construction on the roads around the property currently, but it was not noisy. There was some sort of gathering the last night of our stay and my neighbors were rather noisy, but by 11:00 p.m. it was quiet. I always enjoy this hotel as the lobby always smells so nice. The staff is courteous and prompt. It is an older hotel and could use a renovation, but is pleasant for the price.

The air conditioning very welcome considering the outside temperature was often over 100F. Too hot to take advantage of the pool and or the jacusi. I would stay there again. Close to the air[ort. Helpful front desk.

Room was very clean. Everything was functional and worked as expected. Lots of hot and cold options at breakfast. Reasonably priced. Workout room looked good, although I didn't get a chance to use it. Some remodelling going on inside the main building.
