Loved the jungle feeling of the lodge. Our room was enormous and came with a giant jetted tub on the balcony — definitely a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but go explore other restaurants in town for lunch and dinner!

It was a quiet and wholesome retreat in a jungle like atmosphere. The swimming pools are so refreshing after a long day of excursion. There's horsebackriding just down the street and I got to have some lovely interaction with the Guarani children.

Incrível! O longe fica em fácil acesso entre o caminho das cataratas argentinas e o centro de Puerto Iguaçu. Atendimento excelente, limpeza impecável tanto na recepção, piscina, acesso às acomodações quanto nos quartos. Pegamos a suíte Júnior que possui a banheira em tamanho maior; a decoração é em estilo rústico, ar-condicionado, chuveiro e banheira de hidromassagem excelentes; o hotel disponibiliza erva mate, cuia, garrafa térmica, chaleira elétrica para fazer chimarrão. Também há máquina de café em cápsula na acomodação. O restaurante serve comida tradicional Argentina, escolhemos filé mignon e purê de batatas e estava uma delícia. O café da manhã é básico. Único ponto a ser corrigido é que no aplicativo do Hotéis.com consta a informação de que existe estacionamento no local, porém não há, quem vai de carro precisa estacioná-lo na rua de acesso ao lodge.

Très beau cadre et personnel vraiment très serviable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Par contre il y a très peu de possibilité de stationnement.

This place is beautiful with its jungle setting. I’m sad that I didn’t have a chance to use the jet bath on the balcony! The pool and the pool bar wonderful. The room was beautiful, although it was funny as the sink in the bathroom was very beat up. It didn’t really fit! Also, there was a family of cats that showed up every time we opened our door or arrived. They were absolutely adorable. I really hope that the lodge gets them fixed and finds them homes. I wanted to take them with us!

O café da manhã era muito bom, grande variedade de frutas.O quarto tinha cheiro de mofo,e tanto o condicionador, como shampoo e sabonete disponiveis no banheiro pareciam de origem caseira, nao tivemos coragem de usar,além de que a limpeza deixou muito a desejar,com vários fios de cabelo no chão.A rosca do shampoo estava com uma gosma marrom. As toalhas velhas, encardidas e ásperas. O ar condicionado só foi gelar o quarto de manhã. A taxa que o site falou que seria cobrado no hotel era de 10 reais e pouco, porem chegando lá tive que pagar o quádruplo.O estacionamento disponivel é uma rua aberta, nada seguro. Não voltaria. É o tipico hotel para americano e europeu ver.

Beatiful location in the jungle with cabanas for rooms integrated into nature. Loved the room and private deck. Lobby and dining room were also very nice with wood interior fitting the area. Issues: pool was covered with leaf debris, jacuzzi was not working, bar was closed leaving it difficult to even get a soda or any drink, ping pong table is junk (wouldnt matter but they advertised it).

The location is great but the reception area is too rustic the furniture is uncomfortable, there’s no bar service we waited 30 minutes for a drink and we were the only ones there, the pool area was unattended and no service at all, the rooms were large and clean but not enough towels and at times no towels at all, it’s a shame because the location is great and the jungle environment is beautiful, the staff was friendly but it’s obvious that they are short of staff .

The resort is tired and could do with an upgrade. The pool area lacked shade for all sunbeds. The air conditioning was not working in one room and in our second was not up to the job in the summer heat. We had to have the sheets changed and the towels did not smell fresh even after we changed them. The staff were very nice but not able to change the fabric of the hotel

Our stay at the La Aldea de la Selva Lodge was more than we expected! The staff was very helpful and friendly with both our stay and helping with transportation. The property and rooms are lovely and meticulously maintained. The property is beautiful!

I had to double check what I was paying when I checked in here. It felt like I was staying in luxury that I normally cannot afford, yet this was so very affordable! The rooms are clean, we were in a studio and it was very large. The bathroom was very impressive and the patio in the back was large and comfortable. The pool area is great with a great bartending staff. The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast was better than I’m used to in a hotel. I would absolutely stay here again.

The Aldea Lodge is really beautiful. The staff is warm and friendly, the property is safe and lush. The rooms were spacious, but there was a feeling of dampness and a smell of mold. This sort of tainted the experience. I left there with a bad sore throat that I genuinely believe was brought on by that. Other than that, we really thought this place was special. There were two adorable kittens on the property that would come around in the morning, and Roberta the dog made us happy as we really missed out dog back home.

We loved Aldea dr la Dalva lodge. It's at the begening of the jungle. It was very clean, the staff were helpful & spoke english. There is nothing to do close by. But if you like to walk, you can find supermarket & restaurants within half an hour walk. The breakfast & dinner was very good. We wanted a place to relax after the falls and the lodge was the perfect place.

Séjour très agréable en pleine forêt. Les chambres sont grandes agréables calmes et propres . Le parc est très beau . Le restaurant est très sympa et nous y mangeons bien . Ne pas hésiter Et en plus très bon rapport qualité prix.

The idea of the hotel is good. It’s old because the place was never maintained. Breakfast is bad. We never try the dinner. We were given a room with mold smell and the sink and tub shower has hair in it. Request to move to another room which is a little bit better. Broken hair dryer replaced. Take half a day. Would not recommend

A number of things make it hard to recommend this place. We figured the shower had not been cleaned. Drinking glasses were poorly washed (old lipstick and big smudges). I know that we must expect humidity in the jungle, but our room smelled horribly musty. The pillows reaked and now that we have left, my whole suitcase and my hair smell bad. The toilet broke and overflowed on the floor. It took at least 3 hours for someone to show up to fix it as we had to complain twice at the front desk. It was our day to relax at the property and we couldn't use our washroom. No apologies whatsoever or an offer to make it right. The pool area is nice but had very merky water. Again, not very inviting and wondering about the cleanliness. On the positive side, there was a good breakfast spread. We took one lunch on site. It was expensive and nothing to rave about.

We stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the unique atmosphere of this lodge surrounded by the forest. The rooms were very big and the bed was super comfortable with a choice of pillows. Our room had a balcony overlooking the forest. The only area for improvement is breakfast - I would have appreciated a wider choice of breads and savoury items and a stronger focus on healthy options. Other than that, we loved our stay in this cosy welcoming lodge!

Positives: Decent size room. Comfortable bed (except just one lumpy pillow). Set in the jungle, built in sympathetic style, in dark woods. This lodge was amazing and a gorgeous place to stay for a few nights while visiting Iguazu falls. Service was great, food was excellent. The fresh fruit at breakfast was some of the best mango I’ve ever had. My only issue was noise isolation: the guests above me (I was in a room in a block, rather than a bungalow) sounded like elephants who were renovating the premises!! The lodge would do well to put in carpet or floating floors on upper floors to reduce sound below.

Lovely place set in the trees, which afforded more privacy and a beautiful setting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, but options are limited for vegetarians or vegans. Rooms are not sound proofed, so we easily heard all activity next door.

Vores varmeste anbefalinger Vi overnattede to nætter på La Aldea de la Selva i forbindelse med vores besøg ved Iguazuvandfaldene. Og detvar et godt valg. Værtelserne var store og rummelige med gode senge, faciliteter til at lave kaffe samt et dejligt stort badeværelse. Værelserne ligger spredt ud over et areal midt inde i regneskoven og giver et godt indtryk at hvordan det er at være i junglen. Når vi kom hjem fra vores udflugter nød vi at kunne bruge et par timer ved poolen inden vi skulle spise til aften. Det bedste af det heke var dog personalet. Alle vi mødte var venlige og imødekommende og meget smilende. Vi vil gerne talle Rita personligt for at hjælpe os med stort og småt fra hvor vi finder ATM maskiner og hvordan vi hæver penge. Bestilinger af taxa til udflugter samt til vores hotel i Brasilien. Det var så dejligt at mærkede den venlighed og interesse, der kom fra hjertet. Fantastic experience from beginning to end! The place is beautiful; rustic without being tacky, the room and the bed are enourmous, the shower heats up very quickly, it's super hot and it has a strong flow. The breakfast has plenty of variety, it's delicious and it's constantly replenished. All members of staff are wonderful and go above and beyond. The dinner is also delicious and the portions are enourmous! I wouldn't recommended this place more!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are large and there is a tub perfect after a full day walking. The second day we found the room cleaned, but there were no towels. Carla and Juaquin are tops with excellent customer service, profesionalismo and attention to details, However, there was a woman at the front desk in the morning of the 15 of September who was extremely rude. I did not get her name. She is the reason for the rating of only 4 stars.

We enjoyed the good service. Staff went the extra mile. The lodge area is awesome and we loved the Christmas tree made from jungle wood. The jungle setting was cool. It was kinda hard to find in the dark (Google helped) and the driveway is not paved. The breakfast was good. We felt secure.

Long day traveling arrived at hotel at 22:00. We were happy restaurant was open until 22:30. Front desk agent said we could eat. Immediately went to restaurant and was told we needed have a reservation? Restaurant was about 20% full. After some discussion and explaining we just arrived and couldn’t have possibly made reservation and that we would order something simple we were permitted to eat. 3 times during stay key needed to be reprogrammed with trips back to the desk each time. Safe would not accept a combination so could not use. We were told and had to sign a paper that we could not bring back any food or beverages from outside the hotel? Never have had this anywhere else. Breakfast was good but for dinner pretty basic and inadequate. Nice feeling place with a ecological appeal.

The hotel itself was beautiful in our eyes, its rustic with the confort of a good hotel, meaning your are experiencing the jungle feel with a comfortable bed with air-conditioning, and good amenities, the breakfast was also great, didn't try the restaurant food, only had a not so good cordero sandwich that if the bread was better quality and not falling apart would make it a bit better. Other than that I would recommend if you're looking for tranquility surrounding in fauna and flora. there's easy transportation to the 6 minute ride to the city, for lots of shops and restaurants options. Obviously the star of the show was the incredible Iguazu water falls about 15 plus minutes car ride away. We ended up extended our stay one more day cause our flight was leaving at 9pm, an was able to rest and enjoy the amenities a bit more; well worth it.

We loved Aldea dr la Dalva lodge. It's at the begening of the jungle. It was very clean, the staff were helpful & spoke english. There is nothing to do close by. But if you like to walk, you can find supermarket & restaurants within half an hour walk. The breakfast & dinner was very good. We wanted a place to relax after the falls and the lodge was the perfect place.

I wish I'd had more time to experience the pool etc (I'd gotten up early one day to head to the falls) but breakfast was a great spread with lots of fresh fruit and the reception staff were really helpful. Rooms are massive and I loved having an outdoor hammock (even had a family of cats visit me one evening). You do sacrifice being close to town & buses etc for the jungle experience but taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.

Awesome to feel right in the middle of the jungle. Loved all the cats on the property, and the food at the lodge was so great, both the dinner menu and the breakfast selection (especially all the pastries!). My biggest complaint was that no free drinking water was offered, and in fact there was a sign on the water pitcher at breakfast explicitly forbidding you from filling up your water bottles. It felt like a money grab so you'd have to pay for their bottled water.

We stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the unique atmosphere of this lodge surrounded by the forest. The rooms were very big and the bed was super comfortable with a choice of pillows. Our room had a balcony overlooking the forest. The only area for improvement is breakfast - I would have appreciated a wider choice of breads and savoury items and a stronger focus on healthy options. Other than that, we loved our stay in this cosy welcoming lodge!

This lodge was amazing and a gorgeous place to stay for a few nights while visiting Iguazu falls. Service was great, food was excellent. The fresh fruit at breakfast was some of the best mango I’ve ever had. My only issue was noise isolation: the guests above me (I was in a room in a block, rather than a bungalow) sounded like elephants who were renovating the premises!! The lodge would do well to put in carpet or floating floors on upper floors to reduce sound below.

It’s clean, quiet and beautiful setting. Like the staff. Very helpful. For dinning we are vegan/ vegetarian so not much choice to choose from. Overall excellent experience.

Very rustic feel, which is nice and different from big hotels. Reception are staff was great and service was nice. The only big downside was food in the local restaurant, service was extremely slow and food was bland and really underwhelming.

Beautiful lodge, however we were without water for almost 24 hours. That was very stressful. Staff did provide water bottles in the meantime at no cost. The bed was very comfy. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool, but it looked lovely!

We LOVED our stay at the La Aldea de la Selva Lodge! We were in the area to go to Iguazu Falls, and this was a perfect location! It was probably the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at because it was in the jungle! It was a really AWESOME experience! We felt like we were on Survivor, walking to tribal council each night as we headed to our cabin. The hotel is a little bit older, and there is a musty smell, but I figure it's from the high humidity. It was very, very clean. We really liked the breakfast buffet as well--very high quality food. The staff was friendly and helpful as well.
