Top-shelf room and property that exudes class but be warned - the hotel is not within walking distance of downtown except in dire need. Going anywhere will necessitate hiring a driver. Pool and jacuzzi were cold and unusable during my stay.

Is a very comfortable property, excellent spa massages, beautiful outdoor and convenient located to visit Iguazu Falls on the Argentinian side. Expensive transportation by remise. The cost to go to the Brazilian side was $140. Overall I will stay again is a beautiful and pageful hotel.

Hotel bonito, bom café da manhã, natureza incrível, cama confortavel. Agumas coisas precisam manutenção, acho que por conta do tempo, como as portas, alguns revestimentos, mas do restante tudo ok, voltaria com mais tempo pra aproveitar a piscina maravilhosa.

Amazing property in middle of forest. Spacious and comfortable room with private terrace. Grounds and pool very well kept with a bar that remains ppen till late. Friendly staff and taxi available on call to any destination and very affordable.

The Mercure is a beautiful hotel tucked into a corner of the jungle. The rooms are large, nicely appointed, and sitting on the balcony, you feel like you are in a treehouse. The pool is beautiful, as are the gym and restaurant. Most importantly, the staff is warm, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and eager to please. It is not possible to imagine that there is a nicer place to stay in Iguazu.

Jacuzzi com problema, pegamos o hotel por conta da jacuzzi de água quente e ela estava fria, o hotel estava bem vazio e nos colocaram num quarto bem distante, perguntei se havia a possibilidade de trocar e a atendente só respondeu que não. Já estive no hotel outras vezes e esses episódios não tinham acontecido.

Beautiful hotel and nice sized rooms. Due to hotel within rainforest, humidity always seems to be high even with air conditioning . Restaurant service on slow side, food was Ok. Did not select breakfast option as we were out and about early. Gym not air conditioned and on the small side. Swimming pool looks nice, jacuzzi was warm not hot. Spa prices were very reasonable but couldn’t try as they were very popular

Upon getting our room with my pregnant wife, the room was humid and with visible black mold, the wooden floors were lifted and it was obvious the room had recently flooded. It was in unacceptable conditions for anyone and especially a pregnant women. The staff was very accommodating and excellent response time. The staffs response made up for the poor entry conditions. The new room was in better conditions but there was still mold in the washrooms and even our lamp which most likely indicates there was mold between the walls, floors and other places. The pool water did not look appealing to swim in although I do understand we are in the middle of the jungle. The restaurant had good food although expensive. I really enjoyed their service and accommodations.

The hotel was in a beautiful location to access Iguazu Falls. Staying in the jungle was a unique experience. Services, cleanliness, and convienence were all great at Mercure. We did notice that condensation gather on our ceiling and caused drippage on the floor and bed, but this was a minor inconvenience.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's in a beautiful and peaceful location, and I enjoyed feeling like I was in the middle of the rainforest. One suggestion is to offer more vegan options at breakfast!

Tivemos um problema com a parte de eletricidade de um dos quartos, mas fomos prontamente atendidos pela recepção e profissional responsável pela manutenção. Optamos por não mudar de quarto pois iríamos embora no dia seguinte.

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I booked two nights staying while visiting iguazu fall. The whole experience from beginning to end was terrible. When I checked it, it took the front desk 30 mins frantically going through computers records while I was trying to figure out what the problem but nobody even acknowledged that I was standing right in front of them asking questions. After finally checked in, I found that my room had a broke bed light that was flashing every 2 seconds the entire night even after I turned it off. The ac was so loud I felt like I was living right next to the airport runway. The WiFi was impossible to connect. I called front desk but they refused to send anyone to come take a look. I didn’t sleep the whole night, the room was so humid, all the bedding was damp. The next day I went to front desk asking if I could change a room and was told they were fully booked, then I asked if they could send someone to fix the ac and light, they were annoyed and said it was fixed already. I went back to my room at night and the light was fixed but the ac was even louder with weird noise every 5 mins, the whole room smelled like toilet. I had to put my headset in the whole night an try not to breath hard. Needless to say, another restless night. The facility itself is outdated and lack of maintenance, the staffs were rude and unhelpful. For the price range I was sure hoping for a better experience. Please for your own sake, don’t come here.

Beautiful outdoor pool- warm and clean. Restaurant food fantastic and staff really really helpful. Steak one of the best ever had! But rooms are less good. Faulty kettle, no tea or coffee, shower not powerful, no plug in sink, no recycling in hotel that I was aware off and a massive park up if you ask them to fix a taxi for you. No room file and no tourist information. Not sure it was worth what they charged us- and I’m still awaiting a response to my request to be collected but their so called airport transfer service. Be aware it’s a 10 dollar taxi ride each way to town or 3 miles walk

Desde que llegamos el personal de recepción nos recibió con mucha amabilidad, La habitación era muy amplia y con vista al jardín interior.. el desayuno fuè delicioso.l y muy completo… nos guardaron el equipaje mientras íbamos a nuestro tour.. definitivamente recomiendo ampliamente èste hotel

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel for 3-nights on a trip with a friend to visit Iguazú Falls. PROS: We booked a double room with two twin beds — the room was a good size and was really nice and clean, but the beds were small. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the shower as it was very spacious and had both a rain shower and handheld option. The staff cleaned our room everyday and left it super clean. The hotel is in the middle of the rainforest and the grounds were well-kept. Sleeping with the window open at night (they have screens) and falling asleep to real rainforest sounds was amazing! The pool area is also super nice and has a bar that’s open until midnight with friendly staff. CONS: The food!!! Our first night there we were exhausted and hungry, so we decided to go to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner — big mistake. We were really disappointed not only by the food, but by the service as well. It took about an hour to get our food and it was not good at all and a bit cold. Our reservation didn’t include the hotel’s buffet breakfast so we sat in the bar area and ordered. Again, the service was very slow. The three mornings we were there it took forever to order and get our food, then when we finally got it we had to rush to eat before our tour guide arrived. OVERALL: I would give this hotel four stars and would stay here again if visiting Iguazú, but I would avoid the restaurant and make sure to get to breakfast super early!

OVERALL: I would give this hotel four stars and would stay here again if visiting Iguazú, but I would avoid the restaurant and make sure to get to breakfast super early!

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I booked two nights staying while visiting iguazu fall. The whole experience from beginning to end was terrible. When I checked it, it took the front desk 30 mins frantically going through computers records while I was trying to figure out what the problem but nobody even acknowledged that I was standing right in front of them asking questions. After finally checked in, I found that my room had a broke bed light that was flashing every 2 seconds the entire night even after I turned it off. The ac was so loud I felt like I was living right next to the airport runway. The WiFi was impossible to connect. I called front desk but they refused to send anyone to come take a look. I didn’t sleep the whole night, the room was so humid, all the bedding was damp. The next day I went to front desk asking if I could change a room and was told they were fully booked, then I asked if they could send someone to fix the ac and light, they were annoyed and said it was fixed already. I went back to my room at night and the light was fixed but the ac was even louder with weird noise every 5 mins, the whole room smelled like toilet. I had to put my headset in the whole night an try not to breath hard. Needless to say, another restless night. The facility itself is outdated and lack of maintenance, the staffs were rude and unhelpful. For the price range I was sure hoping for a better experience. Please for your own sake, don’t come here.

The front desk staffs are professional and courteous. Breakfast was great with good choices of food. Roberto was the driver took us to and back from the falls and airport, he was great. Even though I don't speak Spanish but I had no problem communicating with him. He always showed up on time. I will stay here again the next time we visit Argentina.

The Mercure is a beautiful hotel tucked into a corner of the jungle. The rooms are large, nicely appointed, and sitting on the balcony, you feel like you are in a treehouse. The pool is beautiful, as are the gym and restaurant. Most importantly, the staff is warm, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and eager to please. It is not possible to imagine that there is a nicer place to stay in Iguazu.

This hotel was awesome. Stayed there for two nights and 3 days. The staff was very attentive. We did a little bit of laundry for us. Had our clothes back in 2 hours. There's a restaurant on the property that was wonderful. Food was great. The pool jacuzzi was nice and clean. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Very good stay. Other than iguazoo falls Park we did not have to leave the hotel for anything

This is a very nice Mercure Hotel. It is a 15 minute ride to town; however, the taxi ride cost is only approximately $6 US dollars. The breakfast cost is $25 USD; however, it is excellent and plentiful. The service at the hotel, from the reception desk to housekeeping is excellent. Internet reception is very good. We did not use the pool nor the spa, so I can’t comment.

The hotel was in a beautiful location to access Iguazu Falls. Staying in the jungle was a unique experience. Services, cleanliness, and convienence were all great at Mercure. We did notice that condensation gather on our ceiling and caused drippage on the floor and bed, but this was a minor inconvenience.

Beautiful outdoor pool- warm and clean. Restaurant food fantastic and staff really really helpful. Steak one of the best ever had! But rooms are less good. Faulty kettle, no tea or coffee, shower not powerful, no plug in sink, no recycling in hotel that I was aware off and a massive park up if you ask them to fix a taxi for you. No room file and no tourist information. Not sure it was worth what they charged us- and I’m still awaiting a response to my request to be collected but their so called airport transfer service. Be aware it’s a 10 dollar taxi ride each way to town or 3 miles walk

A estrutura do hotel é excelente, tudo muito bonito e limpo. O café da manhã é ótimo. O frigobar estava completamente vazio, não tinha nem garrafas de água no quarto, para um hotel nesse padrão, isso não deveria acontecer. A comida do hotel deixa a desejar bastante... Na ceia de ano novo por exemplo, o que foi servido não condizia com o valor altíssimo que foi cobrado, no bar da piscina os drinks são ruins e a salada que pedi veio com folhas velhas e escuras de alface e frango com cheiro de estragado, a cozinha tem que melhorar muito... os funcionários são todos muito simpáticos e atenciosos.

I got a good deal on a mid week package and decided to splurge on a nice hotel. I especially liked the idea of a hot tub. Other reviews mentioned it was only warm but I found the temperature lovely and very relaxing. The pool area is nice too. The restaurant was great and I expected to have to pay $17 for breakfast but it was included which I was grateful for. They easily arranged for taxis to take you anywhere without waiting more than a few minutes.
