Motel 6-Merced, CA - North

Requested downstairs in the app arrived no downstairs no ice no TV bunch of tweakers in the parking lot and well the place is a dump I want my money back

Yes parking was good the staff was nice at check in and out the room was clean except for the bathroom floor had dead roaches in the corner other than that it was good i only stood one night

Handicap accessibility was terrible

I freaky liked the pet friendliness of this motel. I also loved that the non smoking section did not smell like smoke and that there was an inexpensive laundry area toowash our clothes. The only major complaint i have is that the motel is used a lot for sexual rendezvous and the walls are very thin. That was not a great experience for my children.

Complete tweakers all around the parking lot all I asked for was office side the girl tells me we don't get that information then why do I put it in the app no ice ice machine wouldn't work batteries for the remote no good I want my money back places to complete dump

The room was dirty, there was stains on the bed and dead flies. I tried to get another on but they didn’t have any. They told me to call Monday to get my refund but I can’t get a hold of anyone, I left the premises right away. I was disgusted!

Roach infestation

The rooms are very small and dirty. The shower has mildew not a good experience.

Gang members blocking stairway and once we open the door to our assigned room, roaches were crawling everywhere.

This place had so many roaches. It was disgusting. They were crawling on the door as we were opening it. Entered the rooom and they were everywhere. On the walls, on the carpet, in the bathroom and the bed. Complained to the front desk they switched to another room and it was the same. They gave us a 3rd room less roaches but they were there. I couldn't stay it was just so gross,so we left.

Checked into a non smoking room but it smelled like people still smoked in it floor had cracks which they taped over with duct tape bathroom looked dirty outdated after about 10 minutes of standing in the room we ended up going back to the front desk to ask for a refund we couldn’t handle the smell and nasty feel of the room which they agreed to give us a refund

Older hotel and the outside looks a little dated but the room looked recently updated and was really nice and clean. It is near the highway and a train track so can be a little noisy but it didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very friendly

Bugs in room, change room more bugs but dead this time Enough for motel 6 for me

Sheets were dirty and well as the bedding and there was roaches everywhere. Not clean at all. The bathroom was disgusting.

It was overall a great stay but my 1st room had a smoke detector beeping every 10-15 seconds and was very loud. I couldn't relax with the sound as it was ear-piercing. Told lady at the front desk and she said it was normal for it to do that. Knowing how a smoke detector works I told her no it's not, it's a low battery sound, can you please fix it. She said the same thing again about it being normal so I requested a new room which was given to me. No other rooms had alarms doing that. So I didn't like the fact that I was told something to me that was totally untrue and that I had to deal with it through the night. If I wouldn't have gotten a new room I'd have asked for a refund and went to the nearest Motel. Overall everything was cool and I was thankful that I got a new room to sleep comfortably. I got the room due to me having stress as the highway 99 was terrible that day 7/3/25 and I got bad anxiety from driving and had to stop. My route from Sacramento to Bakersfield would have taken a total of over 8 hours to drive. Thank you Motel 6 for accommodating me for that night. I slept great!!

If you plan on getting sleep, this is not the place to go. Between the trains running all night long, the highway noise all night long, the music from the parking lot all night long (and I’m not sure of all the activities in the parking lot) but I give a big NO to this location.

Motel 6 will be Motel 6 i guess rummers are true lol. Good for taking a shower, watch a bit TV and hit the road. Sleep not possible, windows need upgrade or something due to noise level... There's more but I'm not gonna comment 🤐 Staff were nice though, big thanks to them ✌️

The room smelled like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. The room was dirty, there was hair on the bed that was clumped up. Extremely loud because of the freeway, very difficult to sleep.

Employees were completely rude, i kept having to get the key card reset because it was constantly not working. The outlets did not work couldn’t even charge my phone, the bath tub itself had mold too.

Last minute trip. I was grateful for room which was clean and relatively quiet. Rooms are reasonably priced and if possible the helpful staff will accommodate guests requests. Close to freeway and plenty places to eat close by.

I had to pay twice for the room

I like the service a lot they were very helpful at the front desk

The housekeeper came before checkout time. She disrupted and opened the door without permission. The second time she passed by she peeked inside the window. If it's not checkout time yet no one should be coming to rush us out.

Great stay and staff

Clerk attitude very indifferent, barely talked. No eye contact, mumble directions. Overall the room was clean, except for the bed sheets, they looked and smelled like they were not changed. No blankets, and it was cold. A cheap bedspread was all there was to cover. And since the clerk was not friendly at all, we didn’t dare to ask for new sheets.

There is a lot of activity here, from police activity to prostitution activity. Blood trails leading to the room I rented. Roaches and spiders under the bed I got a refund and will never go back there. Try the courtyard marriot. Way cleaner and have the best organization
