There were good things and not-so-good things about this Wyndham property. All of the staff that we encountered were VERY friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and appeared to have been renovated fairly recently, altho the furniture was mis-matched. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard. Overall, the property was in need of quite a bit of maintenance. For example, the 3 elevators seemed to work only on a rotating basis, and I got caught in a stairwell between the 1st and 2nd floors because the doorknobs didn't work. The fitness facility did not appear to have been cleaned in a while, it was tidy but equipment was sticky.

The room was clean but the plug in bathroom didn’t work, the elevator wasn’t working in the back hall where our room was located, buffet was the only thing you could have on the breakfast menu, the pool was under construction. The hotel did knock off money from our stay for the inconvenience. The best feature was the shuttle service, always on time, drivers were very friendly. The hotel staff were also very friendly and pleasant.

This hotel should not be open. It was dirty. The staff were clearly overworked. The cafe the credit card reader wasn’t working so they sent you to the front desk where there was only ine person working (despite THREE conventions happening at the same time) so to get a bottle of water took 45 minutes. To check in also took over 45 minutes. The entire hotel smells awful with dust and grime covering so much of the hotel. The room smelled like years and years of cigarettes. The windows were so filthy you could just see shadows outside.

The telephone was unplugged. Since it was a cordless phone, that means it was useless. Also, the shower and tub had nasty brown water coming out of the spouts. We didnt notice any of this until right before we went to bed. We were dead tired and needed to get up early so we waited until we were checking out to let them know. The water was still in the tub when we got up in the morning, so it didn't drain overnight. I told the front desk and they said they would have their manager contact me. Its been a day and a half with no contact!

Staff was fantastic. Cleaning staff did a great job. AC needs a major overhaul, no Thermostat in the room!!! American flag out front needs to be replaced, it is shameful to fly a flag in that condition. Dirt around vents was concerning.

Staff at check in was superb. Jeremy was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. He even helped us book parking, multiple times, and each time with a smile. Room was clean, well kept and comfortable. Only critique would be the room was so large and could have used a chair or table. Had a desk and chair but not really for 2.

Staff member who was working the front desk waited an uncomfortably long time to acknowledge me when checking in. Positives: Room was clean and beds were nice. Negatives: Shower/tub drain was clogged causing several inches of standing water while showering. TV was undersized for the room and didn’t work properly (no audio) on most channels. I don’t feel that I received a good value for my money at this hotel.

This was a nice place to stay. With its close proximity to the airport and shuttle service and was a 10 minute ride to the stadium, it was a good location. There were a few issues, no information on how to connect to the WiFi and could not connect for several hours on first night of stay, the TV had no signal and could not be used, the ice machine did not work on the 2nd floor, and there were no directional signs for room numbers once you got off the elevator.

On the 3rd day of the Taylor swift concert I feel like this hotel still wasn’t prepared for the amount of guests. Over 30 people in line at check in and one person working. We decided to check in later. Still only one person behind the desk, still a wait in line at 1 am and she was responsible for the hotel store sales also. I was given keys to a room that was already occupied. Got a different room number and it was fine. The staff themselves were friendly but clearly stressed out. Management should be more prepared for events around the area especially with a completely booked hotel

The whole stay was a great experience. From the first greeting at the door, to check in, to assistance regarding amenities, to the flexibility of late check out, I could go on and on. Over all will continue to book this hotel every time I am in Indianapolis, which is frequently.

The property is in a good location restaurant was good corn chowder was excellent. Water pressure was horrible I had to hold my hand under the spout to get water to come out of shower head. They were charging 16 dollars for a standard hotel breakfast that definitely should have been free with the Indy 500 prices not to mention did not open early enough on race day for people that leave early for the track. Next year we will make sure to book earlier for those little extras that make trip more memorable like breakfast and water pressure. however, I do recommend the corn and bacon chowder. staff was all very curtious and helpful.

Our room was in pretty rough shape. First sign of trouble was a giant dehumidifier just outside our door, plugged in to our room. Figured out some leak happened because our carpet was soaked outside and just inside our room. Wet socks anyone? Our shower drained but very slowly. We would take a shower in the morning and would have to wait until the next day before it was fully drained. Our room smelled like old laundry left in a hot washer for weeks. Overall, it didn’t have bed bugs but not sure I’ll be staying here again.

My stay was not enjoyable. Bathroom was outdated with an old toilet seat and a horrible shower head with low pressure and warm water. After calling the hotel on my day of travel to confirm a late arrival at midnight and confirm availability of shuttle service, I experienced significant delays. When I had my luggage I called for a shuttle pick up and waited at the hotel shuttle pickup site at zone 2 near the rental cars as instructed. I was told the driver was at the hotel and would be there shortly. 45 minutes later I called the hotel asking about the status of the shuttle and was told I was either in the wrong place (I was not) or that I had failed to notice the driver (I had not-traffic isn’t very heavy at manukau). The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from the airport for reference. Three other guests had been waiting as long as I had and had called at the 20 and 30 minute marks, recurving the same exact response. After more than 70 minutes of waiting, each member of our unrelated group attempted to call the front desk again and the call appeared to have been answered with an immediate hang up. The driver arrived after a full 1 hour and 20 minutes with no apologies for the delay and no greeting of any kind-he seemed annoyed and NO ONE in our group acted grumpy about the delay so he wasn’t matching our energy. (The driver the next morning was lovely.) Front desk staff was not very friendly at check in. My non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke but it was 2 am and I needed to pick up my rental car by 8am so did not request another room. I would never choose this hotel again.

The rooms were outdated, the bathroom was tiny, with old and broken toilet seats and an old shower head. Warm water instead of hot and low pressure. Tv is old and not a smart tv. The bar is nice, but the food menu is limited. Front staff had an attitude and there was no one serving in their coffee shop. Long waits there. Pool area needs a major renovation. Will not stay there again.
