Room was dated but functional and clean. Clean bedding, plenty of plug ins. Pool area clearly needs updating. The hot tub was closed. 'Workout' room had 3 machines. Breakfast had more variety than alot of hotels I've stayed at. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy along with fresh fruits and a number of cold cereals, muffin/bagel/danish items. The attached Twigs restaurant is reasonably priced with a huge GF menu and so convenient to just reserve a table there at the end of a long day at Mayo. The shining star of the stay was the staff, particularly the shuttle drivers. Having the ability to use the shuttle for Mayo appts throughout really was a huge benefit that I can't quantify. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Rochester.

Great place, glad our dog was welcome. Because of parade we had to park 6 blocks away as there were no parking spots until the evening. Otherwise staff were lovely, facility good.

The hot tub was dirty. The pool area was dirty and old. The rooms are very outdated. The room was never cleaned in a 4 night stay. The lobby area is new and clean. The arcade was not taken care of with broken machines and missing pieces for games. The shuttle was convenient and great.

Very nice stay.. Was hard to get to with all the road work right around the area. But is was well worth the effort. I have stayed in many hotels both for business and personal travel. I would rate this as my very favorite. Staff was very nice, everything was very clean. Room had plenty of space, very nice TV. Room was quiet. The Twiggs restaurant attached to the location was great with service, wait staff and the food. Parking was free and easy. Check out was a breeze. If I just need a getaway weekend, this is where I'll be going.

Staff is nice but overwelmed. Pool is decent. Twigs, the Restaurant near by, is nice. I didn't like: Old vending macines only accepting cash. The gym is minimal, too bad, and too old. No water in the gym, no towels either. No weghts at all only 1 machine and three trail. Front desk staff have to deal with checkins and telephones so they are most of the time on the phone and the customers waiting (not their fault, they do the best they can). Furniture and carpets are old and wored out. Not enough electricity outlets.

This hotel had very friendly and helpful staff and the shuttle service to and from the hotel to the Civic center was convenient. The continental breakfast had nice variety. It would have been nice for the exercise room to have been stocked with wipes to sanitize the equipment after use and sweat towels, but other than this it was a very nice stay!

Hot tub was broke, Arcade machines had doors off and would eat quarters. Location was great but the amenities were not what I expected. Great place for adults, not kids.

I appreciated the personnel and helpfulness of the staff when checking in/arranging a shuttle ride. Also appreciated that there is a gluten free dedicated restaurant on site, with options of room service, dine in, or pick up. My only complaints would be that there was no way to turn down the wall air conditioner below 70 degrees and the bed was rather hard. The parking lot is not handicap accessible- had to park up a hill behind the building and walk down with my cane and luggage in tow on the driveway. One could be dropped off at the front door but no valet parking so solo travelers such as myself would be out of luck. The other parking lot was across a busy road. Still, since they are close to Mayo, and that they have floors dedicated to patrons with pets, I would stay there again.

The pool was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, the free breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Parking was a little strange, but we found a spot each time. We stayed at 6 different hotels on this trip and the pool at this hotel was the best maintained, the best temperature, and was the largest.

Staff as very over the top helpful, breakfast was super convenient and decent, rooms were very beat up, socks stuck to stained dirty carpeting, walls were dirty and scuffed up, pillows smelled like someone’s sweat, bedding was stained and dingy.

Location was great and loved being connected to Twigs. Hotel was not clean. Room had bugs on the floor, hallways smelled like marijuana smoke. Nice to have a pool and a hot tub for some family fun. Some good, some not so good!

The entry seemed newly redone, but the other floors smelled musty and our room smelled like wet dog. There were large water stains on the ceiling (we were on the 2nd floor), there was a "step" like area under the carpet that was a tripping hazard and very obvious water damage in the shower area. The matress was old and shaped like an upside down U, with a small mountain in the middle. The pillows were tiny, throw pillow sized, and the sheets were so thin you could see the mattress thru them. The furniture was cloth and looked unclean. I wore my sandals while walking around because the carpet felt gross. Coffee in the room tasted putrid and smelled like feet. Staff was great, but will not stay there again. Restaurant had the tiniest chicken sandwich and a mojito with no rum. All food had 0 seasoning. Disappointing.

Check in was nice and easy when we got to our room I realize I had booked the wrong room the front desk staff kindly changed it right away. However, when we got to the new room, it was filthy. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned there was hair on the floor and in the sink there was stuff all over the walls in the shower, and I actually found a necklace next to the bed so I’m not sure the room was actually cleaned at all.

Was in town for a big swim meet. Loved having basically an apartment for several days. May things to walk to. Could use a deep clean and some needed upgrades (getting AC to your room via a fan from the main room is loud and no ideal).

I have stayed here 2x before and not much has changed. I don't mind dated but things not working is very irritating. The ac could not cool the bedroom and it was not even that hot out, the fridge door would not stay shut, the shower did not drain properly. Will not be staying here again.

We had a pleasant stay during the BB Tournament this weekend. We stayed in a one bedroom unit next to the main hotel. We enjoyed the up close parking and the kitchen and dining room areas. However, the couch was ripped up and the room was over 75 Degrees the entire stay. The heat was NOT on and we had to run the A/C to cool the room down. The room definitely needs some updating. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!

The room did not have adequate Air Conditioning for how hot it was. The condition of the room was very worn out and old. Complained to the front desk nobody seemed to care that it was 79 degrees in the room where my wife was recovering from major surgery. I would not recommend the extended stay rooms with kitchens because the kitchens are not stocked with adequate cleaning supplies and other basic necessities. I did like the staff very much.

Everything was excellent, except the Mattress in Room 213. The Mattress would not hold its shape, it would collapse on the left side (looking at it) and was very uncomfortable to lay on. The Mattress needs to be replaced. Everything else was excellent, Service, Clean, employees great, and the breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was in a detached building which was not apparent to me when I reserved. Not so bad as it was warm, though rainy. But in bad weather this is important information. Room was okay, but very dated furniture. Old carpeting.

I do not recommend this property because we had a poor experience with the 2 bedroom extended stay room. The air conditioning was inconsistent and wasn't able to cool the room during the heat of the day. The Front desk was not able to do anything even after complaining. Otherwise, the staff was very nice.

Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. OK, we stayed for six nights, since we had appointments at the Mayo Clinic - I feel like the hotel goes out of its way to feel like your “home away from home” while in Rochester. I’d definitely stay there again!

This was our second stay over the past year and we will be back in six months. The hotel is always clean, the linens are clean, but unscented detergent used… This is a real plus if you have allergies like I do! Friendly and responsive staff. Good breakfast. The shuttle service between the hotel and Mayo (or grocery store, etc.) is excellent. They have two buses that are running constantly with friendly and helpful drivers. It’s an older building but well maintained and after having tried other places, we will always come back here.

I was very disappointed that after I drove 5 hrs straight to stay at this Hotel to be able to take my Dad to the Mayo Clinic the next day I had to wait quite awhile the desk to be waited on. No one was at the counter I waited a little bit and then began to call the motel back to back thinking that would bring someone out of the back room where I heard voices coming from but that person did not care to even come out and answer the phone. Finally a gentleman that works there went and got the girl out of that room. She seemed unbothered that but a customer out there waiting. The Hotel is very nice other than that. Bathrooms are a little outdated but other than that everything was fine.

An excellent choice for anyone visiting Rochester! Very walkable and close to shopping, parks, restaurants, and--of course--Mayo Clinic. The staff was very helpful and thoughtful and the onsite restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend!

Location was convenient to Mayo Clinic, a 2 1/2 block walk. Shuttles were offered but we chose to walk. Very quiet, never heard talking or noise from hallway or other rooms. Breakfast was good, several offerings. Free parking. Enjoyed our stay. Older hotel but provided what we needed.

Bed was good. Tub faucet leaks when simply shut off so it had to get tightened. I couldn’t I tighten it I had to call maintenance bc I didn’t want to break something… breakfast was half decent, eggs were cold.

I’ve stayed at a number of places for Mayo visits and this place is top of my list. Service is top notch, the breakfast offering is much better than others, and the restaurant was incredible. I had a diet restriction for testing I was having done and the restaurant manager made sure I was taken care of with something that wasn’t even on the menu!

The staff here were the most kind, caring, efficient and joyful staff that we've encountered. The hotel was immaculate, but a bit dated. Twigs Restaurant, in the hotel, had amazing food! We highly recommend it for any meal. Breakfast had a large variety of foods, drinks, etc. and was well maintained. We were only blocks away from the Mayo Clinic for appointments, tours, and could easily walk and enjoy all the architecture in the neighborhood! The shuttle service was quick, efficient and clean, and a nice, comfortable ride. There are plenty of stores & restaurants nearby.
