The room is fine, somewhat better than a standard hotel room. Parking at this hotel is hit or miss, don’t leave in the evening, you might not have a spot when you return and there are no good alternatives close. The pool was nice and warm, which was great. Nice walking distance from the hospital.

The property was in a very convenient location with free parking. The hotel is aged but in good condition. The pool is small and the “fitness center” (more like a closet with a treadmill and stairclimber) was smaller. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff very friendly.

We had booked the hotel because of its pool. Nothing in the booking process gave us any indication that it was closed. Updated information would be helpful so we could have booked a different hotel. Maybe I should call ahead and find out. I understand that maintenance needs to happen. Otherwise it was a good stay.

I like that the hotel was close to the Mayo hospital and downtown restaurants! Pool is warm but the jacuzzi was out of service. Really bummed out. Staff was nice and helpful

Excellent hotel. Looks new. Parking is next to the hotel which we liked (not in a parking garage). I am traveling with my daughter and we feel very safe and well taken care. The fitness room and the lobby are a bit small but still well maintained. Staff has been excellent. Also, this is less than a block from the St Francis doors which you can go through to get to Nasseff Tower. Much quicker than if you went through the front doors of Mary Brigh building. It is around the corner from the Emergency Room as well. Great food is close by. It is the perfect place to stay. Room is generous in size and is laid out nicely. We are very happy here.

Very good all around. Mark at front desk was welcoming, helpful in instruction about construction and how it effects walking to Mayo, provided info on shuttle, explained we could leave our car for a few hours following checkout to attend Mayo appt. He offered info on complimentary breakfast. Room was quiet, spacious and well designed. There are nice restaurants walkable. Parking was great.

I got a room with mold along the whole tub, floors had major damage with water chemicals and whatever else seeping through the cracks, wallpaper in bathroom bubbling and coming off and behind that more mold. Carpets felt gross, pool tiny. It was ok, friendly staff but hotel cost not worth the price at all!

While it looks updated and nice, once you are there in person it definitely feels run down and dirty. Exceptionally humid and had lingering bad odors throughout the building and in the room - lasting overnight. Worried about carpet and overall cleanliness. Poor maintenance - paint and structural issues in the bathroom. Street noise. Back door/entry is very unsafe - door doesn’t close completely and not monitored. Parking lot was very dark, tight parking, and felt unsafe.

We stayed for about a week and requested for our bedsheets to be changed even once and cleaner declined. Stating they only changed on specific days. Floor was vacuumed once. Cleaner only comes to take out trash…Horrible cleaning services

Our room was over all nice. It was roomy - spacious, fridge, desk, couch, etc. The toilet and shower were in a room seperate from the sink which was very nice as my dad and i were there for medical appts together. It was definitely a cheap feeling place. The couch wasn't comfortable, the pillow on the couch was filthy and stained. The flooring in the bathroom and sink area were coming up and loose if you walked with wet feet they would stick so i kept socks on. Guessing they installed non water proof flooring as the flooring looked relativity new. I dont know if this is all rooms or just the room we had. The bed was pretty comfy but the pillows were horrible. I will probably not stay here again for the next surgery but the access to St. Marys clinic for the price was amazing as I could walk back and forth in minutes. The breakfast and lobby area were good and clean!

I was able to check in extra early which was a great help. The front desk was friendly in explaining to me directions. The hot tub was supposedly out of order, per the front desk, but then on check out we looked and there was no sign stating it was out of order. Our room was a corner room and was a bit noisy with the passing traffic. We were able to hear the guest above us walking around quite a bit, too.

Location was why we chose to stay. Real estate in this town for hotels is cramped. They managed to get this hotel and its parking lot in there. We appreciated that. Its a bit noisy, we listened to helicopters and ambulances all day and night. Downside was the moldy soap around the fixtures in the bathroom underneath all the fixtures for the bathtub/shower. The toilet seat was on crooked. The air conditioner is noisy, on and off all day and night. I didn't sleep well at all and forgot my ear plugs. The beds were very comfortable. The decor is cute as ever. So it was a mixed experience. We checked in at 4 and there was an empty glass in the lobby on a table, and an empty coffee cup on the registration desk. Both were still there at 10 PM. There were no towels available in the pool and hot tub area.

Beds are old and saggy. The property is well-worn, but clean. We stayed here for four nights and never got a good night of sleep. At a minimum, you expect a hotel to provide a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a hot shower. We got one of the two. Would not stay here again, as this property is out of step with the Marriott brand and usual quality.

The staff was wonderful and always helpful! There were also many dining options within walking distances, as well as many restaurant delivery options. The mattress was lumpy and hard and the pillows were extremely flat. The Wi-Fi was not secure and it was slow. Our room was directly above garbage pickup for the hotel and 2 other businesses, so we were awakened before 4am to the sounds of banging and truck backup beeping that lasted more than 20 minutes. There were also other truck noises, I believe for surrounding businesses, that happened all 3 nights we were there. Definitely too noisy of an area and will not stay again.

The staff at the front desk were nice, easy to work with and helpful. The breakfast was great! They had good variety including hot items like bacon, eggs, waffles and oatmeal with a variety of toppings. There was also cold cereal, muffins, yogurts, and more. It was a convenient location close to everywhere we needed to go. It's an older building and the wear is visible. The carpet was worn in the hallways. The vinyl floor in our suite was coming up and there were chips in the bathtub and caulking. The layout wasn't ideal. If someone was in bed, you couldn't use the sink (separate from the toilet/bath) without the light shining on the beds. There was a separate living space with a nice sofa that doubled as another bed, but no door between it and the bed area and the "closet" was an open space, no door. There were stains on the footstool and some garbage missed between the wall and sofa. Having a fridge and microwave was a plus. The pool is pretty small and doesn't hold many people. Overall, it met our needs and was a pleasant stay.

Close to the hospital. Construction was a problem, but everyone can get to the hospital safely & easily from the hotel. Shuttle to the hospitals was very convenient. Good choice of breakfast items. Kitchen lady from Mexico was very welcoming even when we were late while the man at the desk was telling us it was closed at 9 am. Parking was easy. Getting to go to restaurants or downtown was easy too. Common area where people can sit and chat or have breakfast was nice and clean. Seating outside by the pool area was not so large but good. Manager at the front desk Neeru helped some patients on wheelchairs to their rooms by herself that was highly appreciated.

When I checked and last night at 8:30, it was dark and pouring down rain, and the guy working behind the counter was not helpful at all and I have a daughter that’s in a wheelchair plus a service dog. It would’ve been nice if he could at least help us with the doors, but the morning staff was amazing so that made the difference. OK then my name is Myra Purkey

The hotel more than met my needs. The room was nicely arranged, the location was so convenient for me, right across the street from St. Mary’s Hospital where my son was having surgery. The front desk person was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was fantastic, bed so comfortable.

This hotel was clean and close to the Mayo Clinic. The people were nice. I would stay there again. It was a little disappointing the hot tub was out of order. Also, the market was okay but it would have been nice to have self check out for the Market.

Walkable to St. Mary’s hospital. Courteous staff. They shut down breakfast at 9 AM? Called day of check in to inform we would arrive late. Was not told elevators were not working. Room on 4th floor. Brought someone for back surgery. Yikes! That was rough. Luckily they found room on first floor next day. What’s going on with Marriot properties?
