The staff were friendly and helped recommend area restaurants. Toppers restaurant was the best dine-in (or takeout) pizza! The bed was comfortable. No shampoo, so i'm glad i brought some. There is a vending machine with some necessities if needed. There was a fridge in the room but the microwave is in the same area as the vending machines.

It is located near a freeway entrance, but it is still surrounded by a lot of great places to eat and explore. The staff was so lovely and helpful. I got a lovely welcome gift upon arrival! The pool was refreshing and lots of outdoor area to enjoy as well as the room. It exceeded my expectations!

We stayed here for several days and no one came to clean our room. The room itself had very little furniture in it. There is no shampoo or conditioner, so My wife, had to go buy stuff from the store which is very annoying. The parking lot was very small and they were working on it the whole time so we couldn’t park in certain areas which made it even smaller. The pool was the size of a postage stamp. We weren’t there to swim, but it would’ve been nice maybe one of the nights to swim a bit the property was clean Our keys for the door didn’t work for longer than 24 hours which makes me suspect that some of these doors are either old or have been broken into multiple times because the locks didn’t work very good either the door did not seal properly

Marijuana smell all over. Felt dirty and lacked quality. They didn’t clean the room between nights as we were out. There were no shampoo or conditioner.

The room was so dirty. Animal hair was all over the floor. One of the beds in the room had food stains all over. I also found toenail clippings in the bed. I had to get a cleaning disinfectant and wipe down everything. Lots of homeless people and they have cats and dogs. People smoking in and out of the rooms. Don’t count on getting smoke-free room.

Room was only acceptable. The drape over window wasn’t properly hung. The closet cabinet wasn’t properly repaired and part of the trim was loose from the cabinet. The room smells like it had been smoked in and needs to be refreshed. Bottom of entrance door didn’t seal shut. Bathroom wasn't in good shape. Metal shelf above sink wasn’t clean, when I picked up the washcloth, the shelf under the cloth wasn’t wiped clean. Also, the shelf wasn’t secure to wall and will soon break off. The shelf was incredibly small and was the only space to hold toothbrush and paste and maybe a hair brush. I didn’t use the shower over tub as the floor of the tub looked grimy, I didn’t want to step into it, the tub needs to be replaced. The bathroom floor needs to be properly mopped. Unfortunately, I won’t stay at this Motel 6 again. I must say other Motel 6 locations I’ve stayed in were excellent compared to the Simi Valley location. Based on this review and the condition of m room, the entire location needs to be properly updated

Beds were hard as a rock. TV had no reception. Smell of cigarette smoke coming in room possibly through air conditioner vent. Stairs coming up to second floor need repair. Almost slipped. No water pressure to speak of in the shower. Way over priced for what you get.

Chose this because it had an 8 out of 10 rating. The room served it's purpose because we needed a place to stay. However, the AC didn't cool the room until about midnight. Yes it's hot, but also there is a gap around the door so the coolness doesn't stay in. Which also means the freeway traffic just puside is not muffled much. Room looks clean, just don't look under the nightstand. We kept hearing flapping wings. We later saw there were a couple of bugs, I'm thinking maybe termites, which I squashed. My daughter would not go to sleep unless we left a light on. If this was a $60 or $80 room, ok maybe. But this def wasn't worth $146 for 1 night.

Freeway noise at some times of day is way more than others in particular at 5 a.m.. Better door seals wood help and a block wall at edge of property adjoining the strip. next to freeway on ramp.

Staff was friendly, unfortunately there were no pool towels, no working air conditioning, someone was rummaging through the trash next to our room, and overall was a bit sketchy but I must say for what you pay for im not surprised. This is our second time staying, the first was better but at the end of the day we liked the location so we would most likely stay again.

The staff came to our rescue in so many ways. She quickly checked us in and with a smile. Thereby, we were able to be early for our event that day. Enjoyed our room. Even though we were close to the Freeway on ramp, the sound did not interrupt our time spent in and around the room. A lovely house keeping woman noticed we needed assistance. She quickly had the maintenance department gentleman come to our aide. So nice all the way around..

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend We checked in and immediately noticed the room was dirty and full of signs of smoking, despite it being advertised as non-smoking. There were burn marks and a strong odor. We had only been there for about 30 minutes before requesting a refund because we didn’t feel comfortable staying. Instead of being understanding, the woman at the front desk was rude and dismissive, telling us to take it up with Expedia and offering no help. Extremely disappointing customer service.

We came here a little less than a year ago and came back and it has gone downhill. I know what drug addicts look like and there are many of them there. Didn’t feel safe and didn’t want t use the pool because some of them were hanging by the pool.

Homeless guy on back corner of property, 3 young girls at desk said they knew he was there and said"they had my back" and guy waiting for pickup but was still there next morning. Terrible way to run a motel

Strange experience. We stayed two nights. Superbly clean and neat room, freshly painted, pretty quiet. But. No maid service. We had to go get new towels from the office. There were absolutely no room amenities (except a fridge and TV with 3 channels), no second bedside table, no hair dryer, not even generic art on the walls. You know. The kind of things you expect in a hotel that costs over$100/night. Also, there were some strange characters hanging around the parking lot outside, all the time all day and far into the night. Felt a little uneasy going by them to get to our car.
