You get what you pay for I guess. We went with the cheapest place available that had in- room WiFi. My son was there for camp and I needed to be able to work. We had to buy a mop and Clorox wipes to clean the room walls and floors. I had to wash my feet before getting into bed the first night. My mom got bitten up by a spider or something in her bed. All over her back and shoulders. The manager came and checked for bed bugs and sprayed. We bought additional bug spray for that. I don’t believe it was bed bugs because there were no signs of them in the bed and my son and I were fine in our bed that was a few feet away. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Didn’t give us any push back on our complaints. They just need to work on the cleanliness of the place. We went to El Siboney to eat one night (you should go) that place was spotless. The bathroom was so clean, especially compared to where we were staying we almost wanted to move in 😩. The Wi-Fi was also spotty. Didn’t really start working well until halfway through my last day of work there. The manager did come over to try to help me figure it out. Would we go back 😬…maybe depending on how crazy expensive everything else is around there but it would be a last resort.
