The swimming pool was closed. There was no breakfast as advertised. There was no cable TV. This was absolutely the worst Marriott I have stayed in. I will cancel my next Marriott stay for later this week to show my total displeasure. Furniture was worn. No free coffee in the lobby. Do NOT stay here. Lower than the worst Motel 6.

Service was excellent, BUT hotel is old and worn. As you know pool is empty and sad. Our temp regulator fell of the wall and A/C did not work, but we were cheerfully given a different room. Staff is doing a good job with a bad hand of cards.

You expect a certain level of quality from a Marriott property. This did not come close. The room had visible stains on the rug the refrigerator didn't work. The path to the room they called a fitness center was closed off by literal chains. The pool wasn't open despite being in Alabama and having 90 degree highs. This hotel should lose it's franchise.

No hot water. A/C leaked on carpet. Shower head did not work. Only one outside entrance could be accessed. Had a half roll of toliet paper. Took numerous times to get key card to work. No A/C in halls. Ice machine not working. Staff very nice and helpful!

I'm a little surprised the building is in such disrepair. There appears to have been a roof leak in my room and the plaster was hanging off the wall in the bathroom. Looks like some mildew was growing in one of the art frames, rear access entry pad didn't work and elevator wouldn't go to the first floor because the button broke. broke.

Where to begin on this property? I should have known there would be trouble when I saw the damaged porte-cochere in front. Damage was everywhere, which caused me to believe there was no handyman on site. Gouges on the walls and around the elevators. One day I saw a cloth towel in the gym. Otherwise, there were no paper towels and the water cooler didn't work. How do you screw up a water cooler? I don't know. In the adjacent laundry room, both the washer and dryer were broken. Half the keycard machines outside were broken. No problem! After a couple days, we figured out that one door near the lobby was NEVER locked. But wait, you may ask, how was the room? Well, in addition to damage on the dresser there was no cover on the light in the shower area. Nothing gives you a warm feeling like seeing exposed wiring over your head after taking a shower. Housekeeping emptied my trash and hung up used towels back on the rack. In the four nights I was there, not ONCE did they make the bed. I chose this hotel because I've had good experiences at Courtyard Marriotts before and Expedia said it had "free breakfast" which was false. I don't see myself staying at a Marriott property again after this experience.

The court yard view was terrible and nasty the pool was green with standing water the bricks was dirty oit by the pool landscape was awful we couldn't find another room because of the bog blues concert never ever again will i stay or recommend this place to anyone weekend ruined

The room itself was good. Hovever there was no service to room for 3 days after being requested. The swiming pool was empty no water in it what a dissapointment. Landscping in Courtyard was in need of restoration. Staff did what they had to do but was no overly friendly.

There was no light of the Courtyard Marriott marque. If it wasn't for the Dollar Tree sign, I would have missed the hotel. The outside of the hotel trash was over flowing . The inside smelled stale, no ventilation. The bathroom had mold. The carpet was worn and torn. The hotel provided breakfast to a large group but not to the other guests. Worst Courtyard Marriott ever stayed at. I highly recommend NOT to stay at this location.

The staff was wonderful. However, the hotel itself is pretty grimy, it smelt of sewage, there was plaster falling from the walls, and it is definitely not smoke-free! I’m certain I received a contact high from all of the marijuana drifting through the hallways on my floor. I’ve never been more happy to check out of a hotel in my life!

The staff were great! Professional and courteous. As for the room the beds were comfortable but the carpet needed cleaning, chair in room was soiled and bathroom was old and mildew corners, paint peeling. Owner of the property needs to renovate or deep clean room. It’s not housekeeping fault it’s the owners.

The check-in was unsatisfactory. The assigned room had not been cleaned and prepared when I arrived. However, the front desk clerk was very efficient in correcting the situation, and the remainder of our stay was satisfactory. I was unable to figure how to set the room thermostat to give the desired comfort, but overall, the room temperature was satisfactory.

The mattresses were old and very hard, so none of our family was able to sleep. The bathroom had brown stains on the walls. The hallway carpet was extremely worn, dingy and dirty. When I checked in the desk clerk looked at his computer, said, "what the hell?", and then gave me my room. Everything about the hotel, the bathrooms, the lobby, the carpets and the decor says that this hotel is very old and needs renovation. I am irritated that it is as highly rated as it is on Hotels.com.

We stayed for one night when we came for a concert. It was a convenient drive to and from the music venue and restaurants we went to, which was great. The elevator is not convenient to the rooms, so we took the stairs every time to and from our room. The staircase and surrounding area reeked of marijuana. There was a roach in our bathroom, which is never a good site. Snacks are extremely limited in the Market area inside the hotel. The bed was comfortable, ac/heat worked well. It was good enough for a quick trip but I'm not sure if we'd stay again.

Not great, but not bad. The price is fair for the location. The check-in area feels newish but the rest of the property is in need of serious upgrades. This is a "Marriott" property but doesn't feel like one. A complimentary bottle of water upon check-in, but no comp coffee. One cup will cost you $5. The rooms are clean but feel dated. Our child attends a university in the area so it serves our needs when we drop off and pick up. Staff is friendly.

Called prior to booking to see if a room would be ready for early check in. They said yes so we booked the room. When we arrived 15 min later they said the room wouldnt be ready for 3 hours so i asked for a refund. They said thats no problem just call hotels.com. I booked another room at a hotel who had a room ready. When i called for a refund they called the hotel to confirm. The hotel called me a liar and refused to refund me!! Stay away from this place!

No towels and the lady at the front desk had a very nasty attitude on Saturday night, we went to an outdoor concert and didn’t have towels at all. I explained to her we checked in Friday and only had 1 set . She informed me she don’t work in housekeeping. There was a very nice young man. He helped me. The hotel was very noisy, my patio door wouldn’t close all the way.

To me this is the best place to stay in Huntsville. Super convenient to downtown and major highways. You can see some age in the facilities but I think it’s Huntsville’s best kept secret. I always try to book here
