Closed lobby. Had to stand outside for five minutes in the dark to wait to be let in. Did not feel safe. Door to my room was open when I got there…and the light didn’t work. I inched into the room praying I wasn’t about to be murdered. WiFi didn’t work. Eight entire channels on TV. Bathroom was dirty and the showerhead didn’t work right. Only redeeming quality was clean sheets. I left in the morning before first light.

What was unique about the property was its proximity to Daniel Boone national Forest, and there were abundant dining options nearby. also, it was amazingly inexpensive. What we didn't like about the property was: 1.the pool was closed for maintenance, and looked like it had been for quite some time 2.the ice machine was not working and needed maintenance 3.it was on a main drag ( 27 ) that was noisy late into the night. 4.the refrigerator in our room was not working 5.there were bugs in the room (we're not sure if cockroaches and/or bedbugs) we were so horrified that we checked out a day early, after a pretty sleepless night

This would be a great place to stay if a few things were repaired and cleaned up. The ice machine is out of service (thus no Ice buckets in the rooms) , the floor in room #227 is coming up and I stubbled over it, the door wouldn't latch, the hair dryer is not on the wall anymore. The toilet in room #228 fills every 10 minutes and scares the sh** out of you. The grounds are littered with garbage, and the pool is closed. I'm not complaining just listing a few things that you may want to know before you stay here. I called before booking and knew the pool was closed but I have forgot to do that before and wanted to share with anyone else booking for the pool.

They are renovating every room, with all new beds, chairs, paint, everything. It's no Hilton amenities/breakfast type stay, but it's pretty quiet, clean, nice, especially for the cheapest deal in town. Owner is very nice. Summertime is even better when the pool is open.

Dirty. Bathtub had ciggerette burn marks all over even though it was a nine smoking room. Toilet had hair all over. Comforter has burn holes. Unpleasant odor in room. Mucus on walls beside sink. Excessive dust on most of the fixtures. Room smelled like an Iraqi gas station

We stayed here to go to the water park found bed bugs all in room manager told us nothing he could do and to go home. It was room 224. So not a very good place at all to stay and to top it off they knew they had bed bugs the girl working front desk said she checks every time she comes in to work around lobby and sprays down with alcohol so why would u do that if u didnt know. And yet they didnt do anything about it i have pictures as well

The room smelled awful, the floor was gritty, the fridge had mold in it, there was no remote for the tv or anyway to turn it on, and the tub had hair and other debris. When I called the front desk to ask for another room the person working said “what do you want me to do, come clean your tub?” When I asked for another room she huffed and said she might be able to figure something out if I can back to the desk. Most of the town showed as sold out, so we stayed for one night and found another hotel for the next two nights. Expedia helped us get a refund.

This was a terrible ace to stay. There were staines on the bed. It was not clean at all. The room was a non-smokers room and it reaked of smoke. Some sort of funk was growing in the freezer part of the refrigerator. When we tried to use the spa bath some kind of funk came out of that. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone ever. Not even the homeless.

As soon as I arrived and checked into my room I was greeted with the sight of cockroaches crawling in the shower and on the floor. I immediately left and notified the front desk and asked for a refund. They took my key and said I would have to get Expedia to refund me. Well Expedia actually needed permission from them to which they have been refusing to pick up the phone.

I was told to “check out” - we left at 7am - lobby doesn’t open until 8am. Hopefully charges will be accurate. Pet charges are excessive for caged animals. $20 “per pet” should not refer to numerous “pets” in one cage. “Per pet” should refer to ones that will be running around the room not ones located in one small space. We left our bunnies in the car. Thankfully they were still good in the morning.

Long story short, went to check out, the receptionist was behind the corner talking, would not come to the counter. I paid cash so a $50.00 deposit was to be given back at time of checkout. Someone in my party had bled on a towel, lady at counter goes to check room, brings said towel from the room downstairs into the lobby where she drops it on the floor and says we are keeping 20 for the blood stained towel. Quite embarassing to say the least. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

1. At check in you're hit with an additional $50 refundable deposit that is not mentioned when you reserve a room. You hope you get it back. 2. You can't ask for extra towels until you bring your soiled towels back up front. They don't have extra for everyone (that's what front desk told me) 3. Room door did not close all the way. There was a noticeable gap anyone could see through. 4. You get 3 terrible, flat pillows. (my fault for not bringing my own) 5. Bathroom door would get stuck. Had to yank on it to get it open. 6. Bed was okay. 7. If you don't mind any of that, it's an ok place to stay. I guess it does what it's supposed to. It was clean for the most part, so that's a bonus.

The first room they gave me had a very noisy AC unit, something was obviously wrong with it. The second room was just fine. A small thing, but everytime I went to the front desk there was no one there, I had to call a number which made the front desk phone ring in the back.

Never will be back at this red roof inn in Somerset Kentucky the staff and manger was rude over the phone after I purchased a room through Expedia got there around 11:30 and the lobby doors were locked and lights were off, according to the manager they sleep on the job and have door bell on the door which I tried and they wanted to tell me that I didn’t even get out of the truck which is a lie I told them to look at the cameras and refused to look. They were rude to me and denied my refund after I never even got to step foot in the lobby. I asked for corporates number they refuse to give it to me so they pretty much took my money and denied my stay. I’ll never ever be back and I hope the staff pays for the consequences. Pathetic place and staff

While the rooms were clean, the facility was in a poor state of disrepair. We were traveling with our children (ages 20, 16, 15 & 8) so we rented two rooms. Both rooms were clean but were somewhat run down. Since this was simply a stopping to rest point in our travels, it was sufficient. There was a lot of traffic and noise well into the night though.

Great hotel, located on the main strip in town. Great Value for your Buck ! Room was good, bed comfortable, Pillow was Aweful... Almost paper thin, even doubled over was not comfortable. I made a Criticism about this at check out & the clerk said she has heard this from everyone, said they are working on getting different ones. I Hope so ! Still not upset with our stay though....
