The hotel is entrance is just off the roundabout opposite the services. Large car park at the rear of the hotel the staff make sure you enter your reg on the tablet at reception. Very welcoming and helpful staff everything was explained. My room was accessed by a card and there is a slot on the wall to put it to activate the electricity. Nice room with plenty of space very comfy bed and lots of storage. Very clean in both the bedroom and bathroom which had a very modern easy to use shower also fresh towels,shampoo and shower jel supplied. I had food in the restuarant which seemed to have a limited menu but there was a menu on the bar with more options. The road near the hotel seemed very busy but it was very quiet at night and had a great sleep. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and you could help yourself to as much or little as you liked. Cooked food was hot and restocked often. Overall a great stay with no complaints how often do you hear that.

Staff are very helpful, the bar is there bt very limited. No Rose wine, then no Coke Cola for the Vodka we opted for. The breakfast is plenty and done very well, however as for the bar Menu I think there was about 3 things on the menu. The saving grace there is a Pub (beefeater or similar) literally 100mtrs away and the food, bar, stock, and atmosphere were a saviour. Nice eniugh to stay in but with Premier Inn across the way with a bar and full menu I think we would opt for that.

Our second stay at this well placed, clean, comfortable hotel near Ramsgate. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our room was large, comfortable bed, very clean. The bar area has lots of comfortable seating, TV. The breakfast is possibly the highlight, plenty of choice including full cooked option which you help yourself to. Well cooked, hot, eat as much as you like. Parking could be an issue, especially for later check-ins, probably because this hotel is very popular, easy to see why.

The only real inconvenience was the road construction on the access to the parking lot. While this is not likely a fault on the management, it did impact my driving. The staff is nothing short of fantabulous.

An excellent one night stay. The check-in was very smooth, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Our room was very spacious, airy, comfortable, very clean and very well decorated. The room included an iron and board, tea and coffee were minimal, but adequate for 1 night. The bar area was a very pleasant surprise, very comfortable, airy, great bar service at a reasonable price. Free on-site parking was very welcome. I would certainly return if in the area.

Overall a very good experience- we all slept well and enjoyed the breakfast. Access to the hotel was difficult due to maintenance on the road - we actually heard works at midnight - this is not acceptable. Other than that, we had a good stay!

The entrance wasn’t clear. A better ENTRANCE sign visible from the road would be helpful. The hotel was perfect for us as were the staff, including the lovely cleaner who explained how to open the door with the card key, which we were having a problem using.

The room was clean and looked like recently renovated. Nice breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the aircon in the room was very poor. Tried to increase the temp to 21 deg from the preset temp of 18 deg as it was -2 outside. It never ever got to 21 deg and in fact I never saw it above 18.5 deg. The fan was extremely noisey so turned it down to minimum but then of course the aircon would not respond to the 21 deg demand.

Room was cleaned to a high standard throughout our stay. my only drip is I was unable to reach the washbasins ( I am confined to a wheelchair) and could not get close enough either basin. Staff were always cheerful and very helpful. breakfast was plentiful and reasonably hot. we were able to watch the rabbits feeding.

The hotel is nicely set back from all the hustle and bustle. The beds are rock solid and the dust is thick. The rooms are decent sizes but have paper thin walls. We had a room inter connecting to another. Despite it being locked someone was still trying to open it throughout the night. The car park is limited and the ev points (2) dont work. Breakfast was like feeding time at the zoo with people perched everywhere and literally fighting for mugs!! The grounds are covered in tall weeds and its located next to the dual carriageway. I had to get my key reinstated after my first night due to them issuing the room to someone else. My belongings all in there and luckily the other person returned to reception and didnt rifle through my things. Not a great stay and definitely wouldnt return for the price paid

Superbly comfortable beds with soft & firm pillows. Well refurbished & great location for nearby resorts. Good value. Listed as having airconditioning but this gave no cooling. When we enquired we were told that they don't have airconditioning, just air cooling - i.e. just like a fan. Buffet breakfast could be better. No mushrooms or fried eggs and the bacon & sausages seemed to be economy standard and the scrambled egg seemed like powdered egg.

The hotel it’s self is very good, staff are very helpful and supportive. I didn’t sleep well, for me the mattress that’s (both) were hard and springy and I felt every spring. Woke up with a crocked neck. But everything else was great.

Aircon yay. Aircon doesn't go below 21.5° so it doesn't blow cold at all in the middle of summer boo. King size bed yay. King-size bed made of bricks so hard you get back pain within 5 mins and can not get comfortable until the early morning boo. Bathroom has zero extract so washing in there fogs out the whole room boo. Hotel is very very outdated boo. Staff were great yay.

Great hotel and excellent breakfast. Check in was stressful as the receptionist couldn’t find our reservation. Triple room + dog. No wrong hotel? Showed her confirmation note. No not Herne Bay advised that it was nearest via hotels.com eventually found it using the ref number and she said “oh it’s under Mrs Dawson Not Mr! “ Hie many triples with figs did they have booked and how many Dawson’s I wonder? Begs belief. Told her she needs to try harder next time. 15 mins wasted.

I stayed for business purposes, the staff member Becky was exceptional, her customer service skills is second to none, I was delayed coming down for breakfast due to a meeting and only had a few minutes remaining I asked for the vegetarian option despite it taking a few minutes to prepare she still obliged. I also witnessed the following day an irate customer who was not being reasonable at and and quite rude frankly despite Becky offering to still cater to the customer despite the customer being late and missing the breakfast drink. Very well handled shows exceptional management qualities as a business owner who is well versed in the area of identifying excellence in leadership. Will definitely be returning and have already recommended to my network due to my wonderful experience. Well done Becky!

The stay was fine--good rooms, good beds. The problem was the hotel having no record of our reservations when we arrived to check in--not under either of our names, nor under Hotels.com. Fortunately, they were able to provide rooms--the front desk was terrific. Since I had received a confirmation from you when I made the reservation (which I was able to show the front desk people, so they believed me!) this was all an unfortunate surprise, and clearly would have been much worse if they hadn't had rooms available.

The hotel is situated on the A299 about 5 miles from Ramsgate. Although on a very busy road the room was quiet and very comfortable. Check in was from 2pm and we arrived just before then. We were greeted warmly by the reception staffand check in was fast and efficient. Slight issue was that we had requested a twin room and were given a doulble but they changed the room immediately and without question. The room was very comfortable and we were at the back of the hotel so had a view over fields which was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of both hot and cold offerings and the hot was HOT. Bar prices are very reasonable and the public areas are well maintained and pleasant.

Comfortable beds, amazingly helpful staff. Easy parking. Made us gluten free hot breakfasts plated up in the back. Not a huge selection of gluten free options but given the price we paid, we were very happy. I’d stay again in the future if in the area and in need of an easy and affordable place to sleep.

Staff are very helpful, the bar is there bt very limited. No Rose wine, then no Coke Cola for the Vodka we opted for. The breakfast is plenty and done very well, however as for the bar Menu I think there was about 3 things on the menu. The saving grace there is a Pub (beefeater or similar) literally 100mtrs away and the food, bar, stock, and atmosphere were a saviour. Nice eniugh to stay in but with Premier Inn across the way with a bar and full menu I think we would opt for that.

Our second stay at this well placed, clean, comfortable hotel near Ramsgate. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our room was large, comfortable bed, very clean. The bar area has lots of comfortable seating, TV. The breakfast is possibly the highlight, plenty of choice including full cooked option which you help yourself to. Well cooked, hot, eat as much as you like. Parking could be an issue, especially for later check-ins, probably because this hotel is very popular, easy to see why.
