Ice machine never works

The pool was dirty! No microwave or fridge in the room. Microwave and mini fridge come standard in any room and shouldn’t be an upgrade.

I didnt like they did not have refrigerator, nor ice nor poil open.

The hotel it’s conveniently Located but super outdated! There’s two ice machines but both out of order. The bate tub it’s completely scatched and stained.

No internet acces in the room. Icemachines out of order. One day no coffee in the lobby

The pool is green with a chain around the gate. The furniture is all broken and banged up. Someone was being arrested as we came in. The staff was nice and the sheets were clean but everything else was just really rough.

Broken. Everything was broken. The staff was excellent (friendly and professional), but the hotel is in need of a serious renovation. Electronic key cards had to be reset every day, shower head didn't work (at all), drapes don't close, holes in the wall and floor (yes, really), no fridge, and 1 microwave for the entire hotel to share (in the lobby). The Wifi is virtually nonexistent and food options require a car. I could go on, but this is the place you stay at when you don't have other options (you've been warned). At least the staff was nice.

The rooms were filthy and smelled like mold. I wouldn't have been comfortable getting into the bed. Tub was disgusting. Curtains were threadbare. Shady looking people hanging around. Can't imagine what would have happened after dark. Pool was closed, ice machines both broken. Absolutely unacceptable and likely would have many health department violations.

No hot water, no elevator and needs major maintenance.

The property is extremely run down, as are the rooms and everything inside. TV not working, no water pressure, doors in disrepair, thred bare towels. Just aweful. After we left, my husband mentioned a few bugs, too.

The rooms were so disgusting that we requested a refund and did not stay. The first room looked like someone had at some recent point tried to kick in the door. The bathtub/shower had been spraypainted. There were stains on the comforter. The second room we were shown had black mold on the tub and walls and the bathroom floor was flooded. The walls of the third room were covered in mold. The only redeeming quality was the staff. The ladies working there were very kind and accommodating. They understood that there was no way we would stay there.

Disgusting. The lobby was dirty, and the front desk staff couldn’t care less. Our room had no deadbolt (it was broken off) plus a completely clogged sink, no comforter aside from a thin sheet, and a fake phone with no wires. We paid $60, but it’s not even worth $10. I’ve slept on airport floors that were cleaner. Avoid this dump.

This is a motel for the transient population. A police car came by to patrol. A room has a peep hole without the glass piece. Our bath tub has dead bugs. Bedsheets were clean at least.

No elevator, no ice, no shampoo, no trash bin, hair from previous people all on floor. Low water pressure in sink. Didn’t even take a shower because everything felt dirty.

The staff was great, but the room was a complete s**t hole. Bugs, dirty, toilet coming loose from the wall, baseboards taped on, door handles falling apart. The exterior didn’t look much better. Puke on the sidewalk and trash everywhere.

The room and bathroom were not. clean, soiled bedsheets, left dirty socks...etc.

i actually remounted the door safety lock as it was barely held on by 1 screw. Used glue and toothpicks to reseat and secure the latch knob on the door side. Also, had to tighten the toilet seat to the bowl as it was quite loose and almost unusable. Seemed to be red wax on the wall behind the toilet.

Went to check in and had very unhappy guest saying that the A\C didn’t work and neither did the phone or TV. Whole place smelled like mold. We left. I didn’t ask for a refund, we walked a mile and a half with full luggage to another hotel and booked a room. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, especially someone on vacation

Room was outdated, no bathroom door, bad reception with the cable

The Wi-Fi was terrible. The service at the front desk was terrible. I paid for a room the deluxe roomand there was no microwave

Floor in bathroom was separated/cracked. There was mold in the bathroom and the whole room smelled musty. We only had one set of towels and no blankets. AC did work well.

Rooms are in poor condition and internet did not work.

Property is in need of a needed makeover. Puctures on the site are deceiving. No smoking room had an extremely smoky odor. Paint on tub surface was was was peeling .

Adequate hotel but service issues arose. We were very sympathetic to new employee learning ropes and had no issues with her. One of her colleagues was unduly strict about early check in. Fee should be waived after 1 pm as is case for other hotels in the area. We were required to wait until exactly 3 pm, even though rooms were available. Logistical problem with key card system then caused us and other guests much delay. Wasted nearly an hour with that so could not use our room until nearly 4 pm. Wi-Fi not working in our part of the building. Front desk could not get that corrected in the evening. Probably only required restarting router and staff should be trained to do that. Room did not smell that good but renovated and pleased to see no carpets. Good AC/fan.

not all the motel fault , but about 12am a guy riding a harley with open exhaust rode up to near the pool revving engine. window of room was rattling so load. a group of about 5 proceeded talking at a shouting lvl for about 20 min. no one came to stop them, kept me awake for the hole time, and i had to wake at 330am to get to airport.

This hotel is always exactly what we need - close to everything and the staff is beyond helpful.

When I first tried to check in, I was told they had no rooms available. I showed them my reservation confirmation and suddenly they had a room. Went to the room and it was still occupied. Unmade beds, food and empty drink bottles on the table, dirty towels in the bathroom. I immediately went back down to the office and asked for a refund and went to another hotel. I will never go to another Motel 6! And I’m still waiting on the refund! Staff was extremely unfriendly as well!

Very rude staff on the front desk

We got there only to be told they had no rooms. We had prepaid. Terrible service

I arrived at the hotel at 10pm off a flight and was informed that my reservation was cancelled. The person at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. It seems they cancel Expedia reservations if they find customers who will pay more last minute. Being stranded in a strange place in the middle of the night is not a good experience.

The Motel 6 called me directly and canceled our reservation when we were about to take on our flight for Fort Lauderdale, claiming overbooking, and leaving us with absolutely not alternate solution for us. We were simply in the street and while they provided heartless apologies they did not even try to find another hotel for us to stay, not even another of their motel 6 hotels in the area (and they are a couple). They did not even bother calling Expedia to inform them about the cancellation. When I called back the motel 6, after hearing their voicemail about the cancellation, their front desk did not even picked up the phone, I had to call the national reservation call center. Hopefully, Expedia was able to relocate us. They found us a new place to stay, and covered the difference in cost. It was not ideal, but thanks to them for their help. It was that or sleeping in the rental car. Motel 6 is never a nice hotel. At best it is ok as expected. But I found it reliable in the past. Now I know that they do these bad commercial practices of overbooking, I will never risk another vacation by renting a night with them. And I understand the overbooking thing and I am kind of ok with it, but when you do it, you should at least help your customers who are impacted.

The hotel cancelled our reservation, which we had already paid for, at 8pm. We were on a flight and landed at 9pm to a voicemail saying that they didn’t have any rooms. They then proceeded to tell my husband that if we wanted a refund we’d need to come in to the front desk. Fortunately, hotels.com took care of the refund.

THEY OVER BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA AND YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH NO ROOM!! Absolutely mind blowing. I showed up, they acknowledged they had my reservation through Expedia but said they had no rooms! Had to find another hotel and pay $500 a night to avoid sleeping with my wife and child in our car!! Beware!!

Staff very friendly and helpful, clean room

This motel was awful, the area was scary and I have never seen a room like this in my life for the price. The price was outrageous. The room stank of mustiness and smoke. We didn’t want to lay on the beds. We got a refund through Expedia and found a different hotel to stay at.

We had an awesome time at the property! Lots to do in the area and the staff are always going above and beyond to help.

Great Location! Close to the Beach, Close to Dania Casio, Close to Publix Supermarkets. Close to Restaurants. Only thing is the show/sink/toilet need an upgrade. The outside area of the hotel is kind of not up to par. Don't want to automatically assume but alot of sketchy activity with guests outside the hotel during the day and night outside their rooms which makes guests with kids feel uncomfortable. But did not have issues with these individuals they seemed to mind their own business as did I.

Very disappointed with every aspect of this property. I’ll give it one star for close proximity to the airport, but that is it. Not worth the money

I booked this place trusting Expedia and I was completely disappointed when I arrived. I could not believe that Expedia would have such a place listed as a recommendation for any of their customers. My 13yr old and I were terrified, did not feel safe, the room smelled like mold. I walked back to the front desk turned the key into the clerk and asked for a refund. She gave me a paper and said I needed to reach out to Expedia, which I did and got nowhere. Thank God for my Hilton Honor account, which allowed me to book a clean and safe room. I will never use Expedia again!

Stayed here before in the past, still a solid property and good location.

The front desk staff was the only thing nice about this motel. Very sketchy, I did not feel safe staying there, so i left. Room was spartan but adequate. Parts of the bathroom floor had never been cleaned. Pool was cloudy & nasty. It was obvious that many residents were permanent.
