This property finally has a small gym that was more than adequate for me to get a good workout every morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was clean and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to family and friends.

The 3 pools onsite at the Pelican are small but nice. The restaurant at the pool was convenient and delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful. You have to take the free ferry (or shuttle) to Taino Beach and this is where you find the fun slide, and swim up cave bar that you see in some of the pictures. We really enjoyed this pool. Would def recommend, especially for a family of five bc the room was big enough and they brought a cot for small fee.

Great resort. Be sure to check the in room brochure and map of the property because there is so much offered by way of activities that is not visible. Some of the design angles of the property and trees, you don’t see a number of swinging pools, poolside bars, chartered boat and more.

The only problem I had with my stay was there was not beach attached the property and that Lighthouse Point was next door but not accessible. Everything about my staty was great. The walls in the room need to good cleaning but everything else seemed clean. The food at Sabor was great.

This is my second year in a row staying at Pelican Bay, and once again, it’s five stars across the board. The property is perfectly located—just steps away from great restaurants and shopping. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. Everything is spotless and peaceful, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. The suites are impressively spacious—larger than many apartments around the world! I highly recommend Pelican Bay if you’re visiting Freeport, Grand Bahama. It’s truly a top-notch choice.

There were stains on the bed, hidden by the bed skirt. But bed was comfy. There was a foul odor coming from the toilet that then started to come from the shower, maintenance came while we were out to fix it. Restaurant food was delicious. Wish there were microwaves in the rooms.

Awesome hotel right next to the village market, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms they are clean, updated and very large over looking the lagoon. I highly recommend visiting the Greek café in the village next-door for breakfast, lunch and dinner or bones bar downstairs for a quick drink. The front desk staff were amazing and love the free apples such a nice touch.

Charming property with great appointments. Nice pools. The staff was polite and quiet helpful. It's a great walk along the canal to restaurants and shops. My only negative is that the balcony was great to sit and relax, but the noise and the heat produced by the AC in the room made it impossible for me to enjoy. Beyond that, the facilities were excellent.

Rooms are large but the services are terrible. Expect a loong wait in the restaurant - the most chaotic I have ever seen. The breakfast is of awful quality, and whatever there is cannot be found two following days, even little jellys or oatmeal. I will certainly look elsewhere next time

This include transporting our Luggage, to request for additional tea to be delivered to our room and certainly the following Morning at Breakfast. All of the above had the same characteristic. This was an emergency stay. The resort that our host chose for us was substandard and we needed somewhere to stay. When I called about availability the staff was extremely helpful in guiding me through the booking process and even shared that the price would be cheaper through Expedia than booking directly.

The check In was slow and was shocked to see there was no help with luggage. After 2 bad rooms, first one my key worked and somebody was already in there and the 2nd room had a leaky toilet . But the staff immediately rectified the situation and gave us a free upgrade and the room was gorgeous !! Over all the stay was very very nice !

It was dark when I got there and I was given vague directions to my room. The property was dark and scary. And signage was not illuminated. Honestly the Checkin person was not welcoming. Probably because she knew I was given the worse room. It was difficult to get the key card to unlock the door, the toilet ran constantly unless I opened the lid and unhooked the chain ( I didn’t bother asking them to fix it. It was easier for me to do it), the air conditioner was so loud I just tried using the ceiling fan but that squeaked and my room was located by the restaurant and dock so there was constant music and/or loud boat leaving every hour. I visited this hotel seven years ago and it was great that’s why I came back. But I won’t go back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our second time staying at Pelican Bay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were well appointed, clean and modern. The property is very walkable with many dining options on property and close by. The location on the water is very serene and photo worthy! Pelican Bay was an excellent stay and provided great value for the money we spent.This would definitely be our first choice again.

I have been to Exuma, Nassau and Abaco. They all have their strengths, this one was the best mix of amenities, bars and markets nearby. There's a back path directly to all of it from the hotel pool. The people are super friendly and the food was good. Room was more updated than the other 3 islands. Massive beach walking distance too. Safe. Cops walking around the market at night.

Beautifully located resort with nice and clean rooms. The restaurants were amazing and food was delicious. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast at the resort was disappointing although I heaes good things about it. The food was cold and the burners were not turned on. The restaurant was unattended so we just left and saved the $20 breakfast price for Zorbas which was next door in walking distance.

Nice ambiance. Great balcony view. Kitchenette in room was convenient, equipped with essentials for morning tea and coffee. Plumbing was a bit outdated but water was hot. Skip the breakfast buffet. I would stay again. Rooms are nice and relaxing for lounging.

Convenient location close to the Lucaya market with many restaurant options. The hotel offers a free ferry ride to Taino beach. Nice and friendly staff. If I was to improve anything it’s the breakfast option. I’d make it free of charge or charge a much lesser fee such as $5.

Everything was wonderful here...staff was very helpful and room was nice! Only small downside was the breakfast on site..food not hot and very basic choice for the money..We went to Zorbas few minutes away and it was delicious..we will definitly be back to Pelican Bay!
