Staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything closes pretty early, nlike front office, the bar restuarant. but the staff was amazing. Room was ok for what we were doing but typically lower standard we are used to but still very very clean. Just older. The owner of the store took us the the airport our departure day because the cab company was late so that was amazing and we are very grateful!! Will be back!!

The Room Attendant and Houseman that serviced my room 312 were exceptional, he helped me take my luggage to the room. The only thing that was disappointing was there is no elevator in the hotel, and it has 3 or 4 floors of stairs. I didn't see any food and beverage. It was well kept and I felt safe in the environment. Will definitely visit again!

The Flamingo Hotel is equivalent of an older Motel 6. The only thing done to the building looks like a coat of paint approximately 6 years ago. Let's start with the free Wi-Fi that is only available in the main office. When the office closes at 8pm and you need to use the Wi-Fi you have to sit on the ground outside in the parking lot as they do not even provide benches to sit on. No ice machines and it would be easier pulling your own wisdom teeth than it is to get someone to help you. They send you to the security person located in the parking lot across the street for anything you need. Towels, ice, directions. Getting that person to acknowledge you depends on how they are doing on candy crush or whatever phone game they always seem to be playing. Only 1 towel per person per day if you are lucky. Window units do not keep the room cool and leak water all over the sidewalk in front of your door. Ceiling fans do not work. You can see light coming from 3 sides of the room door with a gap big enough we could actually see people as they walked by. Bathroom sink does not drain. The swimming pool / lazy river does not function as they do not use the pumps to move the water, and the water was hotter than the ambient air temp. The beach could be very beautiful, but they do not maintain it. The only thing we found that was up to snuff was the water taxi to Lucaya Market. Very poor management overall. The employes need to be trained in the service and hospitality industry.

The property amenities are perfect. You have beach with a restaurant and tiki huts, a swimming pool with a lazy river, a slide and a swim up bar. The staff is so nice.

While the nearby beach and pool are nice, and the breakfast at the restaurant was good, the room was definitely only good for a place to sleep a reasonably decent amount of time. A coffee machine but no coffee (and none of the accompanying items for coffee.) One small wine glass, no other cups of any kind. Some of the lights didn't work. Only one TV channel would work. And the gift shop was under construction so no bottles water, no vending machine for soft drinks.
