Motel 6-Medina, OH - Cleveland

The hallways were lined with bags of trash. There was a hole in the by the elevator. The room was very dingy and run down. I ended up not staying. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. There was no luggage cart and I needed to be able to bring in everything from my car since I couldn’t see the car from the room. I wasn’t going to be able to haul all my belongings up to the third floor without a cart. The clerk refunded my room when I asked.

Loved our stay. Jay at the front desk for check-in/out was so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and we had no issues at all. The parking lot was very well lit at nite when I walked my pup. And they do not charge for pets, that was a huge bonus.

No swimming pool nice people but nothing for the kids to do my kids was looking forward to swimming sad very disappointed we are very disappointed but good service

The man that I seen working the night shift was extremely rude. The pool was closed, has been for months.

Spacious parking spaces. Bathroom sink faucet needed to be secure better to the sink, Bed spread and blanket had holes in them.

Pictures have pool and hot tub that have been closed for years. Totally the reason we booked. Tv didnt work had to change rooms. No shampoo or anything in room. Noisy and smoke filled. Front desk person was very noce as he is working to make a living. Property is sold as apmething it is not!

MY ROOM HAD A STRONG CIGARET SMELL MY DAUGHTER IN LAWS REFRIDGE DIDN'T WORK AND MY GRAND DAUGHTER IS DIABETIC MY ROOM DIDN'T HAVE ONE ALSO THE WASHER AND DRYER WERE NOT HOOKED UP POOL AND HOT TUB NOT IN SERVICE

The staff was either surly, or extremely helpful, there wasn't a middle ground. None of the doors have handicap buttons, and are heavy, making it very inconvenient for those with mobility issues to get in and out.

First, I was put on a do not rent list for the hotel because I complained about the following: 1. Asked for another pillow: told to call back in 5 minutes.. 2. No shampoo or conditioner. You had to buy it via their vending machines. 3. The room phone did not work at all!!! 4. I requested an office chair for the room. 5. Asked for housekeeping. Never received. 6. I had to call and work with their WIFI team to restore the WIFI for the FULL 2nd Floor. (about an hour of my time). Front desk would not respond for my request. I was ignored on each of these requests. The final straw for me was the report of cockroaches in the building. I travel the world over and have never had such a horrible experience. Being ignored was the way they operated. Mia the housekeeper was the best and resolved many of the issues when management would not step up... or even write notes when service was needed. There was no notification during booking that the pool/hotub was under construction and not open. We picked the hotel specifically for the pool as we were traveling with two children so that was a huge disappointment.

Heater did not work. Bathroom sink and mirror were not clean. Floor on far side of bed was sticky like it had not been mopped recently.

Had to wait to check in because no one was behind the desk for 10 minutes. There were stains on the wall, the bathroom wasn’t clean, one of the “clean” towels had hair all over it, there was no shampoo/conditioner and the front desk couldn’t find any when I asked for it, and the Wi-Fi wouldn’t work well enough to play a YouTube video.

Dirty, and smelled like cat urine. Burn holes in the bed comforters. Toilet seat was broken and the wrong size. Towels were old. No shampoo in the bathroom.

One of our beds was clean the other one had hair all over it and it wasn’t my daughter‘s hair because my daughter has red hair and it was black hair all over her bed

The initial room we were assigned, 310, was awful! Once we could enter the room, we immediately noticed bugs everywhere. Cockroaches, flies, etc. We rushed back down to the front desk and were given a new room number, 210. The new room smelled cleaner, no signs of insects after a thorough investigation, so we decided to stay.

In all the years I've traveled I have never stayed in a hotel this dirty! The first room 321 they put us in was absolutely disgusting. They offered us a room with double bed (first floor) instead of queen, which was fine so we looked at that room. The room looked way better at first. The floor, you could tell hadn't been cleaned in a while, there was a bar of soap left in the shower from previous guests. Hair in tub, on floors. The bed frame needs scrubbed but the bed mattress was ok. No shampoo or conditioner. No outlets in bathroom, towels and wash cloths are very thin. We will never stop here again. You can tell some people are living there.

Found a couple of dead roaches. Should have made sure they were cleaned up before someone used the room. I felt like the bedsheets weren't chanced when I pulled back more of the cover in the morning. Found some short black hairs down at the end of the bed. I have long hair. There were dirty sheets in the hall. Was some trash also in the hall. It was quiet during the night, which I was thankful for. I was very tired and wanted sleep getting in at 11 pm.

We stayed here because of the free pet policy and went in knowing pet friendly hotels are typically less than 5 star stellar conditions, and this motel unfortunately showcased this. The hallway smelled pretty horrible as did our room of mildew, dog, and cigarettes. The floors and walls in our room were pretty dirty. The room looked like it had not been cleaned at all, and we had to request cleaning materials just to clean off the counter because it was gross and had a mystery sticky spill. We were missing a fridge, but the very sweet lady staff member was super helpful regarding this situation. She was the best part of staying there.The beds were pretty uncomfortable, and the bed spreads had holes and burn marks all over them. There was also a plastic bag over the fire alarm as if someone was smoking in the room previously. Obviously, I wasn't expecting 5 star service, but I was still surprised at the lack of basic cleanliness.

Bed was not that comfortable, but for this cheap you can’t expect a 5 star everything. Toilet seat was also broken so my boyfriend had to hold it up while he peed. Otherwise very clean (checked the bed before I would even sit on it).

Too many dogs on site, barking &running around in the rooms,especially above our room. we got no sleep and i came home with flea bites. Dirty pillows. This motel is a dog kennel, it might be dog friendly, but NOT PEOPLE FRIENDLY ☹️

Comfortable bed

The air didnt make the room super cold like I thought it would being at 64 for 6 hours but it did is job and the room was at a comfortable temp all night. Having a choice between a softer and firmer pillow was very welcoming. It was weird the microwave was on the floor but overall it waa a great stay

Some of the lights in the room didnt work. The tv channels skipped a lot. The heater unit is very loud and the room was freezing when I checked in, it took a long time to warm up. Room could use some updates. Has small fridge, no microwave. Shower tub combination, no plug in the tub. Shower looked like it was rusting around the edges. Showerhead is like a mister when the water is on, water is hot but the pressure isnt that good. Maybe if they upgraded to normal shower heads it would be better. Room was very clean, bed was a Medium firmness. Pillows are flat as a pancake, not comfortable. I like that it is hardwood floors being that i travel with to service dogs. Lots of dining options close by. It was pretty quiet in here most of the night with the acception of someone vacuuming the hallway at 6pm. Staff was very friendly.

The room was unheated when I arrived. The heater was located half way up the wall and blew hot air up. Room remained cool most of night. Only one blanket available, which I doubled.

I was awakened at 3:30am by noisy neighbors. I had a room with a connecting door and it was like they were practically in my room. They were up (which meant I was), until 5:30 am. There was no soap or hairdryer in the bathroom. And nothing to make coffee/tea.

Quiet and beds were good. Could have been a bit cleaner, plus we had no shampoo or blow dryer. Check in guy was not very friendley, however the check out guy was very nice and smiled.

Good choise of restaurants within walking distance

It would have been nice to have a coffee pot and microwave. Other than that, the room was fine. It was clean. Wish I had gotten a room on the second floor so I didn't have to hear the freakin' water buffalo in the room above me pace from midnight to 3 am every night.

Conveniently located for shopping and dining options. Staff is super nice.

It was convenient right by exit door. The floor was dirty. I don’t think they mop every time. Bedding covers were uninviting and worn. Not warm at all! Outside area was trashy. And cigarette butts everywhere!! Weeds growing and landscaping unkept. Air conditioner was very noisy.

Good nights rest after driving for 2 days. Second time staying here. Will stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Dislike: Floors in Rooms Need Sweeping.. Could provide little Shampoos and Conditioners.. Likes: Area, rooms are neat and beds are made. Employees are wonderful people. Great PRICES for the rooms, close too restaurants and gas stations.. It's very Quiet... NO BUGS!!!! Anytime I book a hotel/motel... Motel 6 in Medina Ohio is my go to
