I think the location is great. Would only mention that parking isn’t guaranteed (there are a limited amount of spots which may or may not be taken - no designated lot). Also just worth a mention - if someone is loud in the evening you will likely hear them through the walls and if you have any issues with breathing this may not be the best fit. While there is no smoking allowed the hotel is older so when the air comes through the vent (at least in our room) I could smell cigarettes — just worth mentioning but otherwise lovely and charming :)

Great hotel in the best neighborhoods. Although they do advertise free parking but they only have 6 spots so you have to park in the street and pay. Not fun getting up early to run to your car to add a pay ticket first thing in the morning. Most of the staff is pleasant but I do feel they should hire a more experienced staff. Some were outstanding but they didn’t work weekends and the others were young and inconsistent with their service. One lady in the dining room was awful and refused to get us a glass juice. it was odd but the food was great. And overall a good experience .

High quality hotel suite, excellent breakfast and lovely pool area.

From the moment we checked in, we knew it would be a pleasant stay. Luis at the front desk was very helpful. We very much appreciated being upgraded to a suite. And the suite was amazing! The hotel is clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Loved that this hotel had a pool too. Great location to the beach, train station, supermarket and restaurants. All within a few minutes walk. Staff were very helpful, especially when we asked for recommendations on where to eat in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Warning that hotel has VERY limited parking - maybe three spaces. We were upgraded to a suite but it was on the first floor near the lobby and elevators. It was pretty noisy all through the night. Only stayed one night but would have asked by be moved if we stayed longer. Overall a nice hotel.

A lovely boutique hotel which was very quirky. Art Deco furnishings with mannequins strategically placed. The pool deck and sky bar was really nice, good food and great drinks and not as expensive as I thought. Staff were polite and friendly. We had a lovely stay

Our room was older but very charming. I'm not sure if it actually qualifies as a suite and it looked nothing like the suite pictures but the truth is we enjoyed it. Great water pressure in the shower. The parking isn't terrible but it isn't great. I'm glad it wasn't the height of summer. Its located right on a slope so walking the dog was interesting. Also while the bar was empty except for us some background music would have been nice as it was very quiet. The pros out weighed the cons so we will likey stay here again.

Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die gebuchte Suite war oberflächlich ordentlich, aber beim genaueren Hinsehen fielen schon viele Makel auf. Haarflusen soweit das Auge reicht und ein schöner langer Fußnagel eines Gastes vor uns. Vermutlich auch derjenige der ein Glas auf dem Balkon zerbrochen hat , die Scherben lagen leider noch als wir einzogen. Unangenehmer Geruch beim Betreten des Zimmers , vermutlich vom Wasserschaden oben drüber. Oben drüber ist ein gutes Stichwort dann von da aus is die Geräuschkulisse vielfältig , Gespräche anderer Gäste sind so laut als würden sie gleich hinter der Tür stehen. Also, hellhörige Räume und etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Mobiliar, sind keine gute Kombination. Es war schwierig eine Nacht ruhig zu schlafen. Das Frühstück war die ersten drei Tage auch mehr als in Ordnung, aber ab dem vierten Tag konnte man die ein oder anderen Sachen schon nicht mehr sehen. Es war also leider nicht abwechslungsreich. Sehr schön ist der Pool Bereich, etwas moderner und das Essen ist auch super. Man kommt auch sehr schnell zu Fuß überall hin und wenn es nicht zu Fuß sein soll, dann ist gleich um die Ecke eine Bushaltestelle, oder man leiht sich ein Fahrrad. Also im Großen und Ganzen war das Hotel am Ende leider nur Ok. Aber wie schon erwähnt das Personal ist absolut spitze.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it. We booked a total of three rooms, checking in late around 11:20 PM due to travel delays, expecting a clean and comfortable place to rest. Unfortunately, what we encountered was unacceptable. In two out of the three rooms, we found what appeared to be the presence of bedbugs. There were visible stains on the bedding, dead bed bug shells and discovering a brown ripped mattress made it even worse. After these findings we had no choice but to check out around 1:00 AM and find other accommodations in the middle of the night. Despite these serious issues and health concerns, no one from management reached out to us during or after our stay nor were we offered another room or any assistance at checkout. This was extremely disappointed especially since we booked the “VIP access”. Im not sure how this hotel is listed as a “4 star hotel” but the images listed are not accurate. When I reported this to Expedia, the hotel management was unresponsive and denied our request for a refund, even though we were there for just over an hour. To make matters worse, I later found a review from two months ago reporting similar bedbug problems, making it clear that this is an ongoing issue that has not been addressed. For a hotel with a four-star rating, the lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service was shocking. If you value a clean and safe environment, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The bedroom was ample and had a lot of light. The reception stuff was very accommodating. On the negative side, the bathroom was a little tired. It was dirty under the bed, had some pieces of biscuits and biscuit wrapper. It was a good stay.

The property was ok very dated room and the room wasn't cleaned the best drity cups left floor weren't cleaned the best the staff were lovely and very help everyone off them there nothing much around the hotel just a small bandy and supermarket as for food places very limited I think we found 2 .you would need to get a taxi into the city centre which would been €6 or so

Very old & outdated. There were big cockroaches in the basement rooms can’t imagine other rooms on the upstairs floors or how the kitchen might be. I would not recommend the place.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel wasn’t great. The room did not feel properly cleaned – I even found a glass with lipstick marks from a previous guest, which was quite off-putting. Basic amenities such as coffee and soap were not replenished during my stay, which made things inconvenient. The location was good, but overall the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail left me disappointed.

I stayed for three nights and the bedroom WASN’T CLEAN AT ALL FOR MY SECOND NIGHT. I arrived after midnight, and it was a twin room, otherwise I would ask to change bedroom. It wasn’t nice, and I don’t go to stay there for Easter.

The staff were really helpful and nice including the Reception, bar area nd cleaner. We loved the pool. Our room was quiet despite having a balcony overlooking a road. The area was safe with good transport options from Estoril station. There was a supermarket nearby. Our problem was connectivity to the Hotel internet which started off okay but was inaccessible from day 2. We asked for help but problem wasnt resolved

Spotty Wifi. Overpriced breakfast.

Had a great stay here. Room was enormous. Recently I've found checking in and out has become painful. But the Guy that checked me was great. New his job and was helpful with getting company name and address on invoice. Enjoyed my stay here.

The noise within the main building is awful as there is no sound proofing between rooms. Constantly hear people and furniture moving about.

Beautiful hotel but very loud doors made sleeping difficult

Very enjoyable stay. Hotel and staff were excellent. Location is good however a car is helpful to go into Cascais but only a short taxi ride. Our room was clean, spacious and had a very large balcony. Pool area is great too with bar staff. Highly recommended for a family or couple get away.

Pool area was fabulous and room Very comfortable, although we stayed during a very hot spell (30 degrees in Estoril) and the Air conditioning was not very strong even at its coolest setting. We only stayed a night but may have been a problem had we been staying longer

Rooms are great, really large and for a really good price. Second time I’ve stayed here and would book again. Food in the restaurant isn’t great.

The Hotel Inglaterra is beautiful, having once been a grand, private residence. It boasts a bar, an infinity pool atop a sunny terrace, balustraded steps sweeping down aside elegant turrets, marble floors, beautiful carved doors, and windows that open to catch the sea breezes. Sadly, none of this matters when the staff at breakfast is worse than surly, when you're told in a scolding tone that the bar is closed at 5pm and "you need to walk to the beach," when the guest upstairs can be heard banging their doors and dropping shoes, luggage, and it sounded like moving furniture at 1 am and, again, at 7 am the next morning, when housekeeping slams the doors to the room across the hall at 8am, and when the mattress is so hard (yet your bedmate's every movement can be felt) that sleep is nearly impossible. In addition, the drain in the tub was slow enough that water came up to the ankles when showering. I'm sure that, by October, all of Estoril is tired of tourists; but, such a lovely hotel - and certainly her guests - deserve better.

My five-day stay at the hotel was lovely! Standard double room, clean and quiet. The staff were amazing and friendly! Huge shoutout to the two receptionists! The manager went above and beyond to help me with Uber issues. So grateful! He made me feel safe and took away my anxiety. The location is convenient too. If I visit again, I will stay at the Ingelltera hotel.

The property is an older refurbished hotel that is quite quaint with surprising attention to detail. Staff is extremely helpful and responsive

Beautiful hotel that used to be an estate. The best part was the front desk staff. Especially Manuel who took such great care of us. He was so friendly! The area is ok with walkable restaurants. Maybe 5 minutes to get to the beach and boardwalk.

Excellent location in Estoril. Short walk to beach and 1/2 block from grocery market. Lots of great restaurants close by. Very clean and comfortable. They charge for local phone usage.

This a wonderful jewel in Estoril/Casacais. Close to everything without being in the thick of the tourist bustle. I plan to come back

Polite staff great breakfast

Habitación, cama y almohadas muy correctas y cómodas. En general decoración vintage, si bien este es un tema subjetivo, aunque sí es cierto que las instalaciones necesitan cierta actualización. Los desayunos mal organizados, de 4 días tuvimos que esperar 2 de ellos más de 10 minutos, sin vasos para zumos y escasez de algunos platos. El servicio muy atento en todo momento.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Inglaterra. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The minor was the coffee machine in the room, but the coffee cups/pads is not free, quiet unfriendly in our opinion.

De douche was verschrikkelijk: geen mengkraan en keiharde straal die niet was aan te passen. Verder: wij verbleven 10 nachten in dit hotel, maar desondanks konden ze ons geen standaard kamer met balkon bieden terwijl deze er wel waren en het hotel vrijwel de hele periode niet volgeboekt was. Na 3x vragen in 4 dagen kwamen ze met een aanbod waarbij 25 euro per nacht bijbetaald moest worden. Het restaurant had 's avonds weinig te bieden en was vrijwel altijd leeg. Er was opeens een hard geluid van brandalarm. Dat bleek een vals alarm, maar niemand kwam dat toelichten of excuses aanbieden. Het hotel heeft qua inrichting wel een aangename sfeer, de staf is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maar dat is ook Portugees. Positief: gratis late checkout.
